"Alright kids, order up." the mother said as she drove away from the burpin' burger. They were all excited, per usual.

"Lola, you eat like a pig!" Lana shouted.

"At least I'm not sharing my food with four other animals!" she retorted.

"It's called sharing, have you heard of it?" Lana argued.

The fight between them went on until the mom had to separate them.

After a couple of minutes, Lola asked, "Do you think I'm like a pig, Lucy?"

"I think of you as I do a cat," Lucy said in her usual monotone voice. "I think of everyone in this family as a creature," she added.

Lori and Luna smirked at each other.

Leni was on the floor, turning her stomach inside out.

"Mom, we should go." reasoned Lori.

After they went home, it was business as usual, except that Lori was taking care of Leni.

Luna was rocking her brains out.

Luan was writing down puns and planned for certain devious pranks.

Lynn was in the backyard practicing her fencing skills with Lincoln.

Lucy and Lola talked about Lucy's animal thing.

Lana was just chilling with her zoo.

...The next day...

"Leni!" Lincoln shouted, worried.

He looked everywhere, but couldn't find her.

"Lori, I can't find Leni." He said.

"Hold on, I'm pretty sure she just went to the mall to buy something," Lori said.

Lincoln was fine with this answer but was still worried about Leni.

"Hey, Lisa-" Lincoln said.

"Sorry Lincoln, but I have more important matters to tend to." She said, with a wavy voice.

"Ok." He said confused, as always when he talks with Lisa.

Lynn was out to practice, so she was unavailable.

With no other choice, he decided to talk to Luan for a bit.

After a long time of Luan trying improving her material with Lincoln, they went downstairs to eat.

"Hey, Dad, what's for dinner?" They both asked in unison.

They could not find him or their mother, but Lincoln did find a note stating very bluntly that someone had killed them.

"Luan, this isn't funny. You-" he said before seeing Luan with a cold dead face looking at the note.

"Luan?" he asked.

He just stared at the note and understood, not knowing what would, or could, happen next.

Luan ran up to her room to tell Luna the news.

"Luna...mom and dad... they're...they're dead," Luan said balling her eyes out.

Luna always knew when Luan was telling a joke or not, and she immediately understood.

Luna sat there in shock.

"Luna...please...this isn't one of my stupid jokes!" Luan said desperately.

"I know... don't worry," Luna said. She tried to comfort Luan, but she could not stop her tears from falling down the length of her face.
