S.T.A.R Labs

Bruce has finally entered the building. He passes along the corridor. Every single step paving themselves a path, passing several rooms until Bruce finds some kind of transportation S.T.A.R. Labs might've left behind. Each and every step, travelling, utilisation of two feet, strolling past a few more rooms. Each and every one of those rooms is pervaded with corpses, implying there was these things that breached S.T.A.R. Labs and the remaining survivors' defence, resulting in their deaths. Bruce had his sympathy for all of them, believing they didn't deserve to die. Bruce finally finds a path that leads to a hall. Bruce enters that area, thus discovering a transportation.

The transportation is a small jet that has a company brand name inscribed on it, defining the jet belongs to that named company.

Bruce reaches the plane, inspecting on the exterior sides of the jet, checking on the condition. In his eyes, he sees the jet hasn't been dented despite the S.T.A.R. Labs hall being very damaged from a presumed cataclysmic devastation. Bruce has noted most parts of the ceiling in the hall are detached from that nameless event. Anyone in the outside can see the inside clearly, anyone, who can fly, can see it. Bruce just hopes it isn't the Parademons nesting the skies. The forced desolation from this aftermath destruction puts Bruce at a situation where he is forced to rely on himself. Disregarding the thoughts inside his head, he focuses back on his concern on the jet, wishing to use the jet to fly to Coast City. That is if any survivors remain to even now be alive. He recently saw a man claiming he got attacked regardless of him being one man alone. Bruce took this information in that he can't best anything at his own game. His friendship with the shadows has already met its end. It can be used when the whole world is filled with darkness, and countless creatures lingering and capable of seeing through the darkness.

"I figured you'd be in S.T.A.R. Labs, Mr. Wayne", a familiar, terrifying voice appears behind Bruce, making him take the cue to whirl around, facing what's behind him.

In front of Bruce, now that the Dark Knight is facing directly at his opponents, is Scarecrow and Bane. They still remain attached. Scarecrow happening to be a sticky mucus transfixed on Bane's backside, the latter who appears to almost be an empty shell, an unbreakable rock.

"Bane. Scarecrow", Bruce mentions the respective names of the enemies he is presently facing against.

"So nice of you to remember us, Mr Wayne. If only we arranged a time where we'd just let things smooth itself down, and talk like normal men", Scarecrow said.

"You were never a man, Scarecrow. Not even now", Batman commented, reminding the villain he has always acted far different from a man's way of acting.

Scarecrow seemed blown away by Batman's harsh words. He quickly turned his composure down, thinking about Batman. "You were never a man too, Mr. Wayne. So deranged, so much a cheater of death, so persevering, so persistent, and so chilling and cold. You've always been far different from mortal men, Mr Wayne. You should know that", Scarecrow remarks.

Batman took those words in, unaffected and unfazed by Scarecrow's comment. He takes a mere glance to his back, figuring out a way to enter the jet without getting seized by Bane's strong arms or hands. He is imaginable on the feeling of a sentient colossus crushing Batman effortlessly.

Bane and Scarecrow know the Batman's intention is avoiding them, and getting inside the jet.

"You're coming with us, Mr Wayne. Whether you like it or not, you are to come with us", Scarecrow tells him.

Batman glares at them. "Never!", he snarls at them, inadvertently giving the cue to Bane and Scarecrow to inmate their attack on Batman. Batman looks around, capturing sight on one tool. Bruce quickly takes it out, tossing it swiftly straight to the tube located behind Bane's back-neck.

The tool slices off Bane's tube instantly, causing massive leaks of fluid to spring outwards.

Bruce shapes an indistinct smile, knowing very well about Bane's main weakness. It never signified on how to take down an impenetrable giant. Seeing as venom isn't flowing within Bane, Bane is nothing but a mindless punching bag, very availing for Bruce to smash at him once all of the fluid is out. He looks up, afterwards, noticing Bane has lately reached Bruce's end, much to the Dark Knight's shock that this monster retains his bodily hulk-like appearance. "Impossible. Venom is no longer pumped into your body. How are you still in that same muscular appearance?", Bruce questions him.

Bane quickly grabs Batman's head, lifting him upwards until it was past over Bane's head. "Isn't it obvious, Batman?", Bane rhetorically questions him, making Bruce very confused. "My hunger for my previous working venom has long since been turned down as an addictive drug. It made me blindfolded from seeing the true power within me. My true strength has slumbered for millennia", said Bane, subsequent to tossing Batman to another direction, away from Bane, though even as Batman alights the ground, Bane strolls ahead. "It turns out Sant Prisca is more than a prison. My lord and master Omega showed me how to embrace it, awaken my true potential". Bane's voice sounded monotone, much to Batman's displeasure that Bane isn't his usual self.

Batman hears the name 'Omega' perfectly well. He surely remembers that name. It strikes terror into the faces of every person this beast would face. If Batman is right about the monster who transformed this world into a broken world, anger would fill up inside him, causing him to grit his teeth. Batman gets up, choosing to carry on fighting. He charges straight at Bane, who very recently stopped walking to prepare receiving the hit from Batman. Batman reaches to Bane's stop, striking at Bane's face. Bruce strikes him again, then again, then again. He repeats his strike repeatedly. None of his feeble punches fazed Bane. Bane is unharmed.

Bane speedily hits Batman back, flinging him metres away, landing across the ground.

Batman grunts at the pain. He is extremely reeling in the pain. Batman endeavours in getting up but is having difficulty with dragging every fibre of himself upright positioned.

"Your journey around the Master's utopia has made you very weak. Our suggestion is for you to give up. Omega will provide you peace and tranquillity. No need to live your life in this wasteland. Be apart of us. Apart of Gotham", Scarecrow advises the Dark Knight.

Slowly, Batman begins to get up on his knees, though his upper body is laid down. "Never", he replies, refusing to submit defeat. He will never side with the monster he hated for his entire life.

Bane is slowly getting closer to Batman's side.

Suddenly, Batman's opened eyes spot a unconcealed pipeline. Bruce punches down the pipeline, ripping it off. He pulls it upwards at force. Bruce spins around, blasting a massive amount of gas all over Bane and Scarecrow, the two who've reached Batman's end, now they are blinded by the gas. Afterwards, Batman uses this distraction to hop on the jet and take off.

Following seconds of brushing the gas off, Bane and Scarecrow are now able to see their surroundings clearly. Their first notice is Batman is gone. They turned around, overhearing the noise of the jet starting. They soon discerned the jet taking off, flying over the sky, which made Bane and Scarecrow unsuccessful in capturing the Batman.
