"Hey what'd you find out from the other angels?" Dean asked as Cas settled on the chair after fluttering in.

"I couldn't find an angel that remembers anything about Astaria and only one that said anything about Theron and his family. Unfortunately, what was said wasn't nice," Cas responded, his normally bright blue eyes clouded in anger.

"I have a feeling that didn't end up well," Dean commented, casually glancing at his brother.

"So, guys what do we do to help the girls?" Sam asked, glancing from his place on the other chair to glance down the hall looking to see if either of the girls were stirring yet.

"We continue to see what we can find here, and I'd suggest making a call to Mom and Jack and see if there is something in the bunker about this witch. Hell at this rate I'd say we try and find Rowena. Maybe she's heard of this Astaria," Dean answered, watching his brother briefly before turning his attention back to Cas.

"I agree with Dean. There may be something that the Men of Letters gathered, and Rowena may know more about this witch as well as Theron and his family," Cas added, looking at Sam briefly as he turned back to the conversation.

"Dean you call mom and I'll get a hold of Rowena. Hopefully we can figure this out before they lose another family member." Sam dug in his pocket and pulled out his phone.

Twenty minutes later both boys flopped down on the couch and the nearby chairs, "I just hope mom and Jack can find something. What did Rowena say?" Dean asked, looking over at his brother.

Sam sighed, "She said she didn't know a lot about either Astaria or Theron except the feud was old and that Theron and his family killed two of her kids because they tried to kill Amelia while she was pregnant I believe she said with Kaashaa at the time."

"Talk about not wanting any competition around. My guess is that Kaashaa must be the only one that can take out Astaria," Dean said.

"In that you're correct as is Rowena who I didn't know you knew as well," Kaashaa answered yawning and rolling her shoulders again.

"You want some coffee?" Sam asked getting up to allow Kaashaa to sit in his seat.

"Thanks," Kaashaa answered nodding and sitting down while Sam moved toward the cups and coffee pot.

"So, want to elaborate on what Rowena was talking about," Dean pressed, putting his full attention on Kaashaa.

"I don't know much about the story myself except that there was supposedly a prophecy that a creature of mixed blood that came from the leaders of two different families would end Astaria's reign of terror," Kaashaa answered smiling at Sam as he handed her a cup of coffee.

"So basically, she wanted you dead and now because of that she wants you to give us to her, so she won't kill your family? This lady seriously needs bipolar meds," Dean said.

"You could say that. The main thing is we don't trade lives, even our own family. This witch will pay for what she's done to not only our family but you two as well. The thing is finding out why she's after you two," Kaashaa answered finishing her coffee and picking up a book.

"The only thing that I can think of is that we killed two witches a few years ago and that's got her pissed," Sam said as Kaashaa glanced up to look at him, her blue eyes bright.

"They weren't dark haired with emerald, green eyes wearing matching turquoise necklaces were they?" Kaashaa asked cautiously.

"Come to think of it, yeah that describes them to a tee. I take it they were some either kin or in the Witches' coven?" Dean answered, looking at Kaashaa as she turned her eyes on him.

"They were not only kin; they were the last of her children and the last of her coven. No wonder she has it in for you both. You two practically took out her entire coven. Too bad she didn't get taken out as well," Kaashaa answered grabbing her journal from the table and turning it to one page before handing it to Sam to read, "I remembered reading about the Black Mountain coven whose evil deeds are well known through history. They have been around since humans were just starting to arrive on the new world, maybe even before then," Kaashaa added.

Sam read the brief entry then passed it onto Dean who did the same before handing the book back to Kaashaa, "So if her family has been claiming these lands as theirs and working to kill all who would oppose her how did she find out about Theron and Amelia and the prophecy about you?" Dean asked, glancing from Sam to Kaashaa.

"That's the mystery that even my father never figured out. It's something that has bugged me as well. For now, though knowing why she is after you two and why she's willing to put my family in danger is enough for me to decide we need to move fairly quickly to a new location so she can't get to you before my sister and I find her and take care of her," Kaashaa answered her gaze toward the window.

"There's no way in hell we're letting you two sideline us and not let us help. You two can't go at her alone, especially not knowing how to kill her and going to your home is only signing your own death warrants," Dean protested, glancing at his brother before focusing on Kaashaa's back.

"I can't stop you from helping us or following us, but I wish you wouldn't though. We don't know what we'll walk into, and I can't have your deaths on my conscience any more than those we've already lost and will lose before we face her," Kaashaa answered calmly though her Sam saw her visibly shiver and knew there was something she wasn't saying. He didn't say anything just let her alone knowing time would tell what was truly on the girl's mind and knowing he and Dean would do what they could to protect the two girls who were quickly becoming family to them.
