*I emerged from the darkness, smiling.*
Me: Hello everyone and welcome to the 69th chapter of my second new Misc. Anime Story!
*The lights then turns on to see Yakito in his racing form.*
Yakito: Alright then here we go. Time to make that announcement.
Me: Whoa Whoa! Not so fast! Not so suddenly!
Yakito: Then when?
Me: That will be after the end of this chapter.
Yakito: I see. Shouldn't my cars be appearing right now for the announcement?
Me: -_-
*Yakito laughs suddenly while I sweatdropped*
Me: Anyway, before we start this chapter, I would like to first thank you all so much for supporting us by favoriting and following me as well as my other stories.
Yakito: And since it's a Misc. Anime story, it's a complete OC's story. Therefore he owns the OCs and no one can use them without his permission.
Me: Indeed and now, let's get to the 69th chapter of my second ever Misc. Anime story. Enjoy and stay tune till the announcement which will come at the end of the chapter.
Yakito: Stay tune people!
*Both of us then switched on the torch lights before moving it towards the screen.*
Chapter 69: Proposal.
"So you two are planning to stay in Osaka for a while?" Yakito asked.
"Yep. We are actually planning to do another concert in Osaka which was why we came here in the first place." Naomi said.
"Do the media still bother you about your marriage things?"
"Thankfully for us, not anymore." Daichi said, "The media did bother us for a while when we arrived back to Tokyo but then afterwards, they seem to forget about it and moved on to cover some other issues."
"Who knows? With all the craziness that took place in Osaka, someone will be bound to mention us again." Naomi sighed.
"I really want to thank you guys for helping me out during that situation." Yakito said.
"Hey take it as a gift for saving us before." Daichi smiled.
"Now that all of these are over, we could start focusing on our upcoming tour in here." Naomi said before offering, "Want to have some snacks with us?"
"No thanks. Someone will pick me up here very soon. It's really cool to meet you guys again after a while." Yakito said.
"Yeah. What a coincidence." Daichi said happily.
"Alright then. We will leave you in peace. Sayonara." Naomi said as the married idol duo bid Yakito farewell to him before taking off with their tour van.
5 minutes later:
The pink Evo 6 soon arrived near Yakito. It was Yuka in the driver's seat.
"Hi." Yuka smiled with a lovely wink, "Hopefully you didn't wait for too long."
"Can I be honest and say that you are 30 seconds late?" Yakito joked as he chuckled a bit in which Yuka pouted.
"Moe. What a way to ruin the mood. Seconds doesn't matter, minutes does."
"It would have been disastrous if it was in the rally stages if you know what I mean."
"I know right?"
Pretty soon, Yuka chuckled as well as both of them laughed. Yakito soon got inside the car and soon off they go to the place Yuka didn't tell Yakito about.
"Um. Ano. So where are we going actually?" Yakito asked.
"Not now please." Yuka immediately said as she is focused on driving but at the same time she is getting a bit nervous.
Yakito notices that and is soon wondering what she is up to and why she is acting like that. He's a bit afraid though that being like that would mean one mistake could actually send them to hospital...again in Yakito's case.
Amazingly though, Yuka made sure that this didn't happen.
Few minutes later
Park:
"Here we are." Yuka said as she and Yakito got out of the Evo before grabbing Yakito's hand, "Let's go then."
"Yuka. Where are you taking me too?" Yakito asked.
But Yuka didn't answer that as she still continues to hold on to Yakito until they reached a specific area of the park where you can see the night sky clearly.
"What happened Yuka?" Yakito asked worriedly, "You seem to be a bit strange today."
"Sorry Ta-kun. I couldn't help it." Yuka said as she took a deep breathe as silence occurred for a while before saying, "It's just that..."
Moments before this
At the other area of the park:
The Chief's friend and his wife are relaxing and sitting at the bench.
"It feels really great to be moving around again after a while in the hospital don't you think?" The Chief's friend said.
"It sure is." His wife said smiling before sighing, "Too bad we missed a lot of things that had been going on around here."
"Yeah but my buddy filled me with all the details and we even saw it on TV but the one about Yakito being send to hospital after that horrific crash nearly gave me a heart attack."
"I know right? It was really scary to hear about it but we were glad to hear that he made it through."
"Unlike that bastard who will forever be paralyzed. Serves him right after what he had done to us."
Both of them nodded as silence occurred for a while before the Chief's friend asked:
"I wonder what he is doing now? Haven't seen him since I got released from the hospital."
"Hey. I could see two other people." His wife said as she pointed at the two other people who are a bit far away from them but they could recognize them. "Aren't they...?"
"Yo Yakito!"
But they didn't hear them as the two went off to some where which leave them in confusion.
"That's strange and who's the woman with him by the way?" The Chief's friend wife asked.
"That's his childhood lover as my pal told me." The Chief's friend said, "It will take all night to tell about what would happen between those two."
"Do you want to go and greet them?"
"Hell yeah! Let's see what they are up to."
His wife nodded as they soon went on the route Yakito took along with the lady before finding them at the area of the park where they are looking at one another. The Chief's friend was about to greet them but his wife, reading the situation, immediately pulled him back.
"Not now honey. It seems that something is going to happen." His wife said.
It took a few seconds before the Chief's friend understood the situation as they hid behind the trees to avoid getting spotted by them.
"Looks like something interesting is going to happen." The Chief's friend said.
"We better not make any noise then." His wife said in which he nodded as they are about to witness the moment that will occur soon enough.
Now back to the main couple:
"Ta-kun. Ever since when we were little, I promised you that we will be together forever and we will build the best version of the Supra A80 and the Lan Evo together." Yuka said, "Well we were till the start of my high school year where I had to move out to Tokyo due to my father's job but it was then both of our lives, first mine then yours, would go upside down."
"We both knew what had happened to us but I still can't stop feeling guilty about the poor choices I made, how I was unable to remember anything due to my amnesia, how I married that wrong man who basically kept me locked inside as the turmoil went on and so many other things that went wrong with me. Meanwhile, you had to suffer from deep depression on the very first year of your high school year and all the troubles you had to go through. When Zen-san told me all of this, I really wanted to cry out loudly for all the suffering I had caused you indirectly."
"Even though we mended our relationship, I still wish that I could travelled back to the time where I could persuade my parents that I don't want to go there and that I am fine living in the place along even if it means doing this and that all along. And the the very thought of losing you when you were in the hospital really shook me to the core after that head to head vehicle collision with Yamachiro whose name will be the last time I will ever mention about it."
"So I couldn't hold back any longer and I want to do it right now. Therefore, Ta-kun..."
And then she would kneel down on one knee and opened a small ring box which is the ring.
"Will you marry me?" Yuka asked smiling.
Yakito is in awe and shock. Usually, in normal circumstances, a man would be proposing to a woman. The opposite also happens but in rare cases. Who would have thought that he would be ONE of those rare cases? His feeling is a mixed of confusion and excitement of him getting proposed instead. However, he had one question in mind:
"I...I don't know what to say Yuka. I'm three years younger than you and I'm not in the age of getting married so was it alright for you to say what you are saying right now?" Yakito asked.
"I'm well aware of the facts. I know that you are 3 years younger than me but I still love you and I'm willing to wait for 2-3 years till you reach the marriage age." Yuka said, "And plus I've been practicing and rehearsing for this moment. If I couldn't do it tonight, then which night I'll be comfortable again to say it to you?"
Yakito is stunned upon what she just said.
"You were practicing for this?" Yakito asked in surprise in which Yuka nodded before silence occurred for a moment before he said, "Then I'm giving my answer to you right now."
Yuka looked at him as he took the ring out of the ring box and then he put the ring on her finger in which Yuka gasped in awe.
"This is my answer to you." Yakito smiled.
Yuka could only gasp at him in awe when she soon realize what he meant. Soon her tears have started to come out from her eyes which worried Yakito a bit.
"Hey are you okay?" Yakito asked worriedly, "I'm sorry if my response wasn't up to the mark."
"No. It's just..." Yuka cried before crying happily, "I'm so happy!"
She then flung her arms around Yakito as they land on the ground with Yuka being on top of him. They laughed and kissed and kissed and laughed.
"Thank you Ta-kun. For accepting my proposal." Yuka smiled as she rests her head on her forehead.
"Hey that's what lovers are for right?" Yakito asked smiling, "Childhood lovers soon to be engaged."
Yuka couldn't help but chuckle a bit as she gave a deep long kiss to Yakito. This is the best night for the both of them and Yakito can finally forget about the school roof incident which caused him depression and move on.
What they didn't know is that the Chief's friend and his wife saw everything and their mouths fell wide open and they could feel that their eyes came out from their sockets. Slowly they sneaked away from their hiding spot without creating some noise and ran back to the bench.
"Am I dreaming or is it real?" The Chief's friend asked crazily.
"No it's not. It's real!" His wife gasped, "She proposed to him instead of the opposite!"
"Have we seen anyone doing it in this country?"
"I know that I saw it once or twice in here but I'm not sure about the other cities."
"This is amazing! We must tell the others!"
"You go ahead dear. I will let you know any other updates through my mobile."
"Are you sure you will be alright in this environment?"
"Don't worry about it. I've got a few tricks on my sleeves if something happens to me."
"Alright then. Be safe dear."
"Thanks."
After giving his wife a kiss, he ran towards his Subaru WRX Impreza and took off while his wife returned back to the hiding spot to see if they are any plans set by the now engaged young couple.
The Police Station:
The Chief's friend first stop is the police station where he ran to tell his friend, a detective and Mark about what he and his wife saw at the park which caused them to be in awe.
"She proposed to him?" The Chief asked in awe.
"She? Not the opposite?" The detective asked in surprise.
"What's the big surprise there? I've seen ladies proposing to their lovers in Australia a couple of times." Mark said before smiling, "But still it's amazing."
"Totally!"
"So what do we plan to do?" The Chief asked.
"My wife will send me any updates to my mobile and I will let you know about it." The Chief's friend said.
"Cool."
And then, after sometime, Mark told it to John, Cindy and Zen whose mouth fell wide open.
"Nani? She proposed to him?" John asked in awe as Cindy is in awe too.
"That's amazing!" Zen said before asking, "But wait a second. He has not reached the marriage age yet."
"That was all what the Chief's friend said to us." Mark said, "But he did say that his wife will update him."
"Did you hear that Cindy? A woman proposing to her man." John said in excitement in which Cindy nodded in excitement.
"Oh darn it mates. I wish someone would propose to me." Zen sighed.
"Come on now mates. Let's tell it to the others."
"Yeah!" Mark and Zen cheered.
Pretty soon, Zen ran to tell Ryoko and the Blackstars about it in which everyone is in awe and surprise.
"So she proposed to him instead eh?" Ryoko asked before smiling, "Good on them."
"Yuka? As if Yuka from the Vixens?" The cool nerdy Blackstars member asked in awe.
"That's right mate." Zen said.
"Yahoo! I wish someone could propose to me too!" The Blackstars female member squealed.
"Um. It was she who proposed. Not he." A Blackstars member said as he sweatdropped.
"Oh! That's awesome! I wish I could propose to someone? How about you marry me?"
"Nani?!"
They all laughed.
Soon, the cool nerdy Blackstars member and Ryoko told Motoki and the Vixens about it in which many of them are in awe and shocked.
"Whoa! She proposed to him?" A Vixen member said in awe.
"Kyah! This is so awesome! I wish I had someone whom I can propose too." Sakura said happily.
"That's really good for them." Motoki said before smiling, "I'm gonna send my congratulations to her soon."
"But hold on. Isn't he still younger than Yuka-chan and has not reached the marriage age yet?" One of the Vixen crew member asked.
"She said that she will be willing to wait. That's what Zen-san told us." The cool nerdy Blackstars member said.
"Alright!"
And while the cool nerdy Blackstars member and the other Vixens were chatting about it, Motoki looked at Ryoko for a while before trying to reach his hand when she notices that one of her crew members spotted it and chuckled a bit before saying:
"Our two leaders are in love!"
"Eh?!" The Vixens and the cool nerdy Blackstars member then suddenly looked at Ryoko and Motoki, who immediately hid her hand on her back.
"No! It's not what you think it is!" Motoki said in a bit flustered way while Ryoko looked at her full of questions while the others laughed.
Meanwhile, John is telling it to the Mohawker crew and they are all in awe.
"Whoo Hoo! Let's party at their wedding!" The Mohawker leader said happily while his dog barked happily.
"Hold it boss." One of the Mohawker crew member said before asking, "Ain't that kid too young to get married?"
"Oh Yeah. Good point."
"It ain't matter. She had guts to do what she needed to do." The Mohawker female crew member said in which everyone nodded.
"Anything else?" The Mohawker leader asked.
"Not that I could think off mate." John said, "But the one who saw it said that his wife will provide the updates."
"Awesome!"
Within a few minutes, Motoki texted to Yuka's parents to send her congratulations to her. Upon hearing it, Yuka's parents immediately called Taichi's parents and they are really happy to hear about it. Then they told Yuzo about it.
"So she said to him at last." Yuzo cheered happily.
"I know right?" Yuka's dad said happily.
"Call your friends and boyfriend and let them know." Yuka's mother said.
Yuka nodded as she immediately called Igayashi first, who was in awe before cheering about it, and then called Suzu and Mia, who squealed so loudly that even you can hear it from the phone. After talking with them, Yuzo soon realizes who to call next.
During the trial of Yamachiro, the principal gave Yuzo the number so that he could be informed as to what's happening on the trial in which Yuka was present. Plus Yakito also studied in that same school when he was there so he deserves to know.
Yuzo was searching for that number frantically before finally finding it under her pillow in which she wondered how it got there. She then called the principal, who was a bit busy at work but is willing to listen as to what she has to say. When she told him about it, the principal immediately ditched his work and is really excited to hear about it.
"How can I ever thank you for telling me about this?" The principal asked on his line.
"Give me all A grades." Yuzo joked in which both of them laughed, "But in all seriousness you should come."
"I would most certainly will. Thank you very much."
The last one to hear about it is the Osomashi married idol duo when the Chief told them about it. They are in awe and surprised but are worried about two things.
"Isn't he below the marriage age?" Daichi asked.
"She will wait for him that's for sure." Naomi said in which the Chief nodded and Daichi sighed in relief before asking in a worried way, "But I hope that they don't get into being rough with the media unlike what happened to us which had led to you know what."
"I don't think. After all, they are in their different jobs and us same. Plus we must attend their wedding and not forget about them."
"I agree. What about you?"
"I'm remaining here till my buddy gives me an update." The Chief said.
However, it didn't take long enough before he received a text message from his friend. Apparently, his wife had provided him the update via text message and then his friend had send it to him and so the process has started all over again.
It's like a Chinese whisper but with text messages on the mobile phone ;) .
An hour and a half later
Outside the place where Yakito lives:
"I can't wait to tell the others about it." Yuka said in excitement as she hold hands with Yakito after parking her Evo.
"You are planning to stay overnight with me?" Yakito asked curiously in which Yuka nodded.
"Yep. I'll let my father and mother know about this."
"Okay cool. Let's go inside then."
Yuka nodded as they approach the place where Yakito lives. Yakito then unlocks the door with his keys and opens it and then when he turns on the lights...
"SURPRISE!"
The booming voices startled Yuka and Yakito. Pretty soon, they regained their composure and soon realized who they are when they saw them.
It's everyone Yakito knows about: His parents and brother, Yuka's parents, Yuzo, Mia, Suzu, Igayashi Zen, John, Cindy, Chief and his wife, Mark, Motoki, Sakura, the cool nerdy Blackstars member, the Mohawker leader and his dog, one of the members from the Mohawkers, the Principal, the Osomashi married idol duo and, last but not least, Chief's friend and his wife.
"CONGRATULATIONS!" Everybody cheered while the Mohawker's dog barked happily.
"Wait..." Yakito couldn't quite process as to what just happened, "How? Why?"
"Eh?" Yuka also got quite confused as well.
"You are one brave shelia that's for sure." John said.
"How?" Both Yakito and Yuka asked in confusion.
"Allow us to explain." The Chief's friend and his wife said together.
The Chief's friend then cleared his throat before saying:
"The thing is that we were in the same park as well."
"Eh?!" The couple gasped.
"Yes. We wanted to say hi but while we were approaching you, both of you were in a face off when you were saying something emotional but then we witness an extraordinary moment never seen before in the whole of Japan." The Chief's friend's wife explained.
"Indeed and we got so excited that we thought we could tell everyone in the world." The Chief's friend said, "But we were very careful not to overreact so that you wouldn't be upset. I first ran to tell my pal and his friends while my wife stayed behind to provide me with updates so that I can take action pretty soon and this is how everyone whom you knew and loved got to know about it."
"When you said that you will be leaving within half and hour, I quickly texted my husband and he later told me to wait outside the park so I sneaked outside without making any noise to disrupt you and went outside the park where he picked me up. We later dropped the car at our home before going to your place with his friend and his wife. Pretty soon, we met the others who also came to your place on foot. This was done to avoid your suspicion from you guys as to why they would have been so many cars at your place."
"Your dad led us to your door where it's obviously locked so that dog had to play a special trick on the door with his tail to make it unlock."
"That's my boy." The Mohawker leader said in which his dog barked happily.
"So when we all got inside, there was still time since you guys hadn't arrived yet so we prepared ourselves. Then you guys came and...volla!"
"SURPRISE! CONGRATULATIONS!" Everybody cheered happily.
Yakito and Yuka have no idea what to say. They then realized one thing though and this made them blush a lot.
"So if you guys have seen us..." Yakito said as red cheeks appeared on his face.
"Then that means..." Yuka gasped before she hid her face as she was blushing too.
"We are sorry. We hope we didn't mean to ruin your moment." The Chief's friend said worriedly.
"Yeah. Our excitement clouded our judgement." The wife of the Chief's friend, "We are really sorry about it."
Silence occurred for a moment as everyone is worried what their reaction would be. However, much to their surprise, their reaction is surprisingly calm.
"Well at least that made our job easier right?" Yuka asked with a smile.
"Yeah. Besides, not everyone knows about it, just the ones whom we know very well." Yakito said.
"More like they already did that job for you." Daichi said.
"Yeah. Besides, if everyone knew about it, then even the media would get involved." Naomi said before sighing, "And they can be a real pain in the ass sometime."
Yakito and Yuka nodded as everyone sighed in relief before everyone gave their congratulations to them as Yuzo, Mia, Suzu, Motoki and Yuka's parents all ran to hug Yuka.
"Kyah! We are so happy for you!" Mia said happily and squealed.
"I hope that I could be brave enough like you to propose to someone that I love." Suzu said.
"I'm sure you will." Yuka smiled as she patted Suzu's hair.
"Let's hope that this will be happier than the last one." Yuzo said.
"It will be."
"I'm confident too." Motoki said, "You are my best friend and one of the top racers from the Vixens and all I wanted to see from you is being happy. I still feel guilty for defending the bastard doing our high school days."
"Don't worry Motoki-chan. Everything will be okay soon."
"Yes. Unlike the last time, they know each other very well." Yuka's mother said.
"We will always be with you." Yuka's father smiled.
"Thank you mother and father." Yuka smiled as she hugs them.
Meanwhile, Yakito is receiving congratulations from Sakura, Zen, Igayashi, Ryoko and his parents though they teased him a bit.
"So bro. How did it feel like getting proposed by someone instead of the opposite situation?" Ryoko asked.
"Eh? Well..." Yakito tried to say something but his words failed him.
"Oh Man. You make me wish that I could be in that position." Igayashi said, "Though I had no idea as to how I would have reacted."
"Did you and Yuka-chan did some ecchi stuff? If you know what I mean." Sakura asked and giggled while doing =D in which everyone 'ohhh'ed and 'ahhhh'ed.
"No! That's not true!" Yakito said embarrassingly.
"Yeah! Who would do that in the park of all locations?" Yuka asked while blushing.
"They just did a deep long kiss." The wife of the Chief's friend said and whistled in which everyone jumped in awe while Yakito and Yuka hid their faces.
"Busted." Zen chuckled.
"Don't worry Yakito. We all care about you which is why we are trying to have a little fun here." Yakito's mother smiled.
"You can always come to us for any advices you have." Yakito's father said before smiling.
"Count me in." Ryoko said in which his parents nodded with a smile, "May not be the best at romantically advice but I will do my best as I can to give you some other advice."
"Thank you mom, dad and bro." Yakito said in which everybody smiled.
"Seeing my two graduate students going to get married just warms my heart." The principal smiled before asking, "So did you two plan on anything as to what you are going to do after getting married?"
"That's too quick for them to answer." The Chief said, "Plus he's 2-3 years younger than her and still under the marriage age limit."
"Oh Yeah. You got a good point there."
"Chief!" Yakito cried out in embarrassment when he mentioned about the age difference.
"I was trying to make sure that you guys don't get into the rush." The Chief cried out in protest in which everybody laughed.
"Well. It's sometimes not good to talk about someone's age at a time like this." The Chief's wife chucked a bit.
The Chief sighed as everybody smiled for a moment before Yakito announced:
"Well we did agree on where to go on our honeymoon."
"Already?" Everyone asked in awe.
"To where?" The Chief's friend said.
Silence occurred again before Yakito smiled and said:
"To Sydney, Australia."
Zen, John, Cindy and Mark suddenly got excited.
"Really?" Zen, John, Cindy and Mark asked in awe.
"Hai and, if possible, we would also love to have fun at the Gold Coast." Yuka smiled.
Zen, John, Cindy and Mark then stood with each other and proclaimed.
"Leave it to me." Mark proclaimed, "I'll make sure that you guys will get all the security that you need so that you can enjoy yourselves."
"Leave it to me." John proclaimed, "I'll make sure you lovers will get the best staying arrangements for honeymoon couples in Sydney and Gold Coast."
"And leave it to me." Zen proclaimed, "I'll take you to some of the finest places in Sydney and Gold Coast as a tour operator. You are gonna love it mates."
"Looking forward to it." Yakito smiled.
"That was really fast and quick. Better make a note of it." The cool nerdy Blackstars member said in which they nodded before asking, "What made you both choose that destination?"
"Well Yakito had been there when he was a kid and that's where he met Zen-san." Yuka said, "Also I haven't been to an international country for so long so it would be good for me to make some fresh memories as I move to a new chapter while Yakito can remember some childhood memories of his."
"I see where you are coming from." Yakito's mom chuckled a bit.
"Drop in to say hi." Mark said before asking, "Also do you want to see a V8 Supercar series race if you have the time? Both Zen and John told me that you are also driving a Holden vehicle as well. Who knows? Maybe the team can hire you for one race and the audience and competition will be blown away when you use the Japanese style of driving."
"Looking forward to that as well." Yakito said.
"Same here." Yuka smiled.
Everybody smiled for a moment before one of the Mohawker crew member asked:
"Can I just ask you something?"
"You are free to ask." Yakito said.
"If she proposed to you, shouldn't you have the wedding ring in your finger instead of her?"
Yakito immediately blushed and said in the tsundere way:
"That's...That will be so embarrassing! Imagine people looking at me with the wedding ring on my finger!"
"But dude! She proposed to you so you should wear it!" The Mohawker crew member said.
"I kinda agree with you." The Mohawker leader said, "There's nothing wrong with that ain't it?"
"There's plenty of wrong with it." Yakito groaned as he covered his face in which everybody laughed.
And so, everyone had a wonderful time at his place. The wedding is a long way away but both Yuka and Yakito know that, whatever happens to them, they will always stick together.
*Soon the torch lights are off and I turned on the real lights.*
Me: Well that's the end of the 69th chapter.
*Yakito switches off the torch light.*
Yakito: Alright now. It's about time.
Me *clapping my hands*: Indeed my friend. It's time for the announcement!
*Yakito listened closely and studied me.*
Yakito: Oh Boy...
Me: The next chapter, which will be published the next week or the week and a half, will be THE FINAL CHAPTER!
*Yakito sighed.*
Yakito: So this is it then. Last Arc Chapter and the Last chapter of this story eh?
Me: Yep. All good things must come to an end.
Yakito: Like how when the best racers and street racers know that when the time is for then to stop.
Me: I agree on that.
Yakito: I have no regrets. I've been to so many adventures and places around Osaka. Clearly if this story intends to be finished in the next chapter, this better be done in style!
Me *smirking*: You bet. But I really enjoyed writing this Misc. Anime story overall and I had lots of fun with you and the finale chapter will be no different.
Yakito: Gotta finish in style bro.
Me *in determination*: I'll do my best!
*Yakito nodded with a smile as he gives the thumbs up.*
Me: So there you have it! The finale chapter will be coming to you soon within a week or a week and half as always so you better not miss it!
