Chapter 7
Blinded by the light
It was an early Saturday morning in the Brotherhood house. And for once a quiet one. The houses occupants had taken off to make their usual bouts of trouble. All but two.
Scott remained in bed staring down at the other as he slept. Yes he was still with Lance. It had been a large surprise to the others as well. They were sure Lance would have kicked him to the curb after their fight.
They had obviously miscalculated the need Scott had to stay with Lance.
Which seemed to grow more since the night of the robbery.
Lance had seemed much softer than usual. Proof of the others need to keep him around as well.
Scott listened as Lance gave a heavy sigh and rolled over to face him.
"I've heard you sigh like ten times in the last two minutes. What's up?" Lance asked him through a half yawn.
Scott smiled and bent down for a slow and easy kiss. Lance of course didn't deny him.
It went on like this, pushing each other to the very edge of insanity with torturous kisses. And Scott waited for Lances continuous question whenever they would get too worked up. To continue or to stop. But it never came .
And Scott's heart nearly jumped from his chest as the other grinded against him that first time.
He'd never been with another guy before. And knew Lance hadn't either. But Lance seemed to understand what he needed.
He always was the more confident of the two even it was false confidence a fair bit of the time
So when the other pulled him over him he went willingly pressing the long haired brunette into the mattress.
The reaction was instant. Morning wood having them both sufficiently ready to go. They both groaned at the contact.
Lance pulled him down for a kiss. His other hand stroking his chest stopping just above the waistband of his boxers. A silent need for permission. Scott nodded his consent as groaned as the other began stroking him firmly.
Never one to be out done Scott followed suit. Stoking the other as well. Never let it be said that Lance wasn't hot as hell. And Scott was sure the sound of Lance moaning his name was the sweetest noise he'd ever heard in his life.
It was messy and uncoordinated but eventually they found rhythm. It should have been weird or akward but it wasn't.
It couldn't last though and Scott knew it. And it didn't.
Scott fell first cumming into the others hand. Lance followed right after.
Scott waited for the other to catch his breath. Forehead resting gently on the his collarbone.
Waiting inevitably for the moment when Lance realized they were far to close and needed his space back.
But once again it didn't come.
Instead Scott felt him run his hand through his sweaty hair. This made him smile . He would stay with Lance until the other ordered him away he'd decided. And be damned to anyone who tried to stop him.
(Line break) The X-mansion
Logan was a simple man.
A man of morals and values. And for most of his life he'd never allowed himself those sweet simple pleasures of live and friendship.
For when you lived in a world without a limit of time. Losing everyone around you is just to pain full.
Then Jean had come along to change his perspective of this endless life.
But their was just one problem with his and Jeans relationship. Scott Summers.
Jeans other boyfriend.
She had told him she'd come clean. 8 months later and that still hadn't happened.
He'd practically raised Scott. Taught him everything he knew. And Logan had began to recently wonder if the other had known all along. He was far to brilliant not to figure it out
His worst fears had been confirmed the week before when he'd gone to the garage late in the night only to fine his Harley missing. And then have Scott reappear with it hours later.
He barely looked like himself anymore. His hair long and greasy, and decked out in black all the way down to his shades.
His tone and overall attitude had made the animal in him uneasy.
What bothered Logan the most was the overwhelming stench of Lance Alveres that surrounded his young ward.
So why hadn't Logan come clean that night? Because he was a coward and Scott deserved better.
Instead he let him walk away out of guilt. And had kept his secret to now. Managing to keep it even from his Jean.
There was not doubt in the Wolverines mind that this whole situation was going to end badly.
But there was nothing he could do about it now. He was too invested in her. He refused to give her up. Not when He was so close to the happiness he's never been able to achieve.
He only hoped his relationship with Scott would survive his decision.
