Samuel P. Carter and the Library Frog
Once upon a time in the enchanting city of New York, there was an interior decorating company by the name of Phantom and Carter Decorating. Its lauded owners, Samuel P. Carter (the P standing for Poofy), and the Phantom of the Opera, were the most famous interior decorators in the city. And so here our story begins.
"This desk will be perfect in the library!" Samuel said, skipping through the books.
"My dear friend, nothing could be more perfect!" said the Phantom.
Suddenly, the head librarian, Mrs. Wilda Couscous, ran straight into the Phantom! "My library frog has gone missing! We can't open the library without Lenny!"
"We must solve a mystery!" Samuel said, and the Phantom agreed. And so, they set out to find Lenny, the library frog.
They searched high and low; on top of the Empire State Building, and down in the tunnels, but they could not find Lenny. "It may be more difficult to find a frog than we thought," puzzled the Phantom of the Opera. Samuel nodded.
"But where could Lenny be?" he wondered.
Suddenly, they saw something jump around the corner. Excitedly, they ran after it, and found a small purple frog. "This must be Lenny!" said Samuel, and the Phantom agreed. And so, together, they carried the frog back to the library.
Mrs. Wilda Couscous shook her head. "That's not my frog! Lenny is big and green!" Poor Samuel P. Carter and the Phantom went out again to find Lenny. Samuel put the purple frog down, and waved until it jumped out of sight.
"How will we find Lenny now?" Samuel asked. The Phantom shook his head. Suddenly, a little boy saw them, and waved.
"Are you looking for a green frog? I know where he is!"
Samuel and the Phantom were overjoyed! They skipped after the little boy, until they arrived at a tiny building. "Lenny is in there!" the boy said, then disappeared.
"Now what is the Frog Hop?" Samuel wondered, but the Phantom shook his head. But when they looked inside, they could see Lenny dancing with his friends! "Lenny!" Samuel called. Lenny stopped dancing.
"Mrs. Wilda Couscous misses you! The library can't open without you!" the Phantom said, and Lenny nodded. Though Lenny was sad to leave his friends at the Frog Hop, he jumped into the Phantom's hand, and skipped along with them until they reached the library.
Mrs. Wilda Couscous was overjoyed to see Lenny! "He wants to dance with his friends," the Phantom of the Opera said, and she nodded.
"He will have every Saturday off to dance!" And everyone was happy!
Samuel P. Carter and the Phantom of the Opera decorated the library the fastest they had ever decorated before, and they finished just as it was time for the library to open. Mrs. Wilda Couscous was so happy that she invited them to her party that night!
Samuel and the Phantom were very happy to dance alongside Lenny the library frog at Mrs. Wilda Couscous's party. And even Lenny's friends came to dance with him! Everyone was very, very happy.
While he watched the Phantom dance with the purple frog, Samuel felt very happy he had come to New York City. And he was happy to have the Phantom of the Opera as his best friend!
He could hardly wait for the next adventure.
The End.
