Present Day: Day 4 of Quantico

Mia's POV:

Once we all arrived at the gym, I noticed that it was set up in a different way. Almost as it is when you play a game in PE class at a regular school. The 2 classes were combined right now.

"Welcome everyone! Take your seats," Shelby said.

"Is it just me or does it look a little weird in here?" I whispered to Anja.

She shrugged.

"Today we decided to make things a little fun. Only cause it's week one," Owen said.

"Or you are still upset about losing to the kids!" said a boy in the audience. I didn't recognize him so I guessed that he was a student from the other class. Everyone, except the adults, couldn't help but laugh.

Owen ignores the comment and giggles.

"I decided that we would do an obstacle course today. But don't expect it to be easy like the ones you would find on a playground.

He then quickly explained the directions and took us outside to the fields. The course didn't look that bad. It consisted monkey bars, fire pole, laser field, obstacles, etc. I wondered why Owen thought this was going to be hard.

"This may look easy but when us adults are going to be trying to stop you, I think y'all would change your minds," Owen said.

All the students, and Caleb, groaned.

"This is their exercise! Why do we have to block them? Let them have it the easy way!" Caleb said, acting like a toddler.

"Please! With or without you guys stopping us, we'd all still make it!" I said.

"I'm not too sure about that, McQuigg," Owen said."

"Well we are!" said Danity.

"Fine. McQuigg, why don't you go first?" Ryan asked.

I went to the starting line. I quickly calculated what I was going to do. I figured that with them stopping me, it would make my time way slower. Then I decided what I was going to do.

"3...2...1... GO!" Owen yelled.

The first part was a 50 meter sprint. When Owen tried to trip me, I let him. All the kids looked disappointed and the adults looked please with themselves especially Owen. Poor Owen, he fell right into my trap. When all the adults arrived to help me, Owen said , "Not that easy is it," and he reached out his hand. I grabbed it than swung my leg kicking all of the adults to the ground. I quickly ran away from them and finished the obstacle course in a breeze without having to worry about them.

2 minutes and 22 seconds was my final time.

Owen was shocked. He thought it would take me at least 5 minutes.

"That's not fair!" whined Ryan.

"I though you were the one who said during the orientation that bad guys don't play by the rules and that we shouldn't either," I defend.

Owen looked like he wanted to argue back, but didn't cause he had nothing to say. Mom just looked at me. It almost looked like she was questioning why she brought me here.

"Booth, you're up," Clay said. He was mainly quiet, but annoyance was written all over his face.

One by one, every one completed the course. Average time was 3 minutes 12 seconds. Owen was very disappointed that we finished earlier than he expected. I had the fastest time out of everyone but only by 6 seconds.

"You guys are free to leave cause this ended faster than expected," Ryan said.

We had about 10 extra minutes before we had class.

"Mia, do you want to talk about whatever you needed to? And is it still fine to bring Leo?" Luke asked.

"Yeah sure. Anja is anyway going to be there so it's fine." I replied.

"Grab Leo and meet me in my room," I instructed.

2 minutes in the Anja and Mia's room:

"Okay, so what are we all doing here? I want to go in my phone on our break!" Leo asked.

"You weren't even asked to be here. You are here under your own free will," I said.

"But still answer why are we here?"

"Notice something off between Ryan and my mom?" I asked.

"Uhhh no?" Leo said.

"How did you make it this far into the FBI? Anyone from a mile away can tell that they don't like each other at all!" Anja said.

"Well maybe they don't like each other from a long time. Maybe Alex and Shelby hate each other so that's why Ryan gives the cold shoulder," Leo suggested.

"How blonde (Miraculous fans will most probably get the joke) can you really be?" I asked.

"Hey! That's offending all blondes and I am not blind like him!" Luke protested.

"Yeah, sure you aren't! You didn't even noticed that they gave the cold shoulder till I pointed it out," I retorted.

"Did you call us here to argue?" Leo asked.

I reached into my closet and grabbed the files which I took before the game.

"What are those?" Anja asked.

"Promise you won't rat me out and then I will tell you!" I said.

"Let me guess you went into the room full of files and stole them without telling anyone,"Leo said sarcastically.

"Yeah pretty much," I replied.

"Hmmm... wait WHAT!" Leo replied after realizing what I just said.

"Mia, this is a joke right?" Luke asked me.

"Nope! I called you guys here cause Luke knows his parents the best. And Anja is here because Luke is blonde so he would be no help and Leo is here cause I decided to be generous and invite him," I said.

They stared at me for a few seconds.

"I'm in!" Anja exclaimed.

"Great! Now let's get to class because we are about to be late. And you know how much Owen hates me after defeating him," I said putting the files back in the closet.

"We won't be arrested right?" Leo asked nervously.

I shake my head.

"Then I am in as well," Leo said.

"Me too!" Luke responded for the first time in a minute.

"I'll give you all a file with all the details," I told them while we were heading out the door.

"You mean there's more?" Leo asked.

"I was just getting started. Operation Truth is just getting started," I said.

We entered the classroom and I gave Mom, Shelby, and Ryan a suspicious look. They didn't notice.

"Take your seats everyone," Ryan instructed.

Poor clueless Ryan. You should have thought twice before lying to me about something so obvious. Because of that, I have a team to take you down once and for all.
