A Peaceful Home…
After completing their shopping in the book store, Malay and the kids had ice-creams on their way home and finally reached home around 11:30 of the night, feeling both tired and sleepy… Hence wishing good night to everyone and leaving all their shopping in the lounge, they all left towards their respective rooms, and changing in their night-suits, they just fell on their beds and before they knew, they were fast asleep…
Abhijeet's Room…
Abhijeet too had just returned from the bathroom, now dressed in the night-suit when a soft door knock grabbed his attention and he looked in the direction to find Aarti coming in the room and…
Aarti smiled lightly with: Shuker hai aap soo nahin gaye warna aap ko phir sy jaagna per jata aur aap ki neend kharab hoti… (Abhijeet who had already noticed that small tray in her hands, got what she meant hence gave her a quiet smile while Aarti, leaving towards his bed, added as…) Chalo ab aap jaldi sy yahan aao aur apni medicines ly lo, dinner k baad iss liye nahin dien k aap ny bahir jana tha, aur medicines lainy k baad aap liye soona zarori hai… (While sitting on his bed, softly patted the place beside her with…) Aao jaldi sy, shabash…
Abhijeet giving her a reluctant nod, left towards her and sitting beside her, quietly grabbed the tray from her when seeing him absent-mindedly staring at his medicines…
Aarti asked in confused smile as: Abhijeet, kya hua baita, aap medicines kyun nahin ly rahy aap ki…?
Abhijeet trying to make excuse, tried as: Auntie woh main ny abhi brush kia hai na tou yeh dodh aur medicines…
And he stopped knowing himself that he had made some childish excuse while…
Aarti gave him a disappointed smile with: Baita brush tou dobara bhi kia ja sakta hai na… (Asked in light friendly tone as…) Aur ya phir inn medicines ka taste bilkul medicines jaisa hai iss liye aap avoid ker rahy ho, hmm…? Abhijeet chuckled quietly with: Nahin auntie, taste itna bhi kharab nahin hai inn ka… (Glancing over her, nodded as…) Main laita hoon…
And inhaling a deep breath, he grabbed the glass and gulped down his medicines with the milk and placing the now empty glass back in the tray, quietly forwarded the tray towards Aarti while mouthing a silent "Thank you"…
While during whole that time, Aarti kept sitting there as a silent observer as being a mother of two kids, she could tell that something was bothering her third son hence placing the tray aside…
Aarti softly secured his hand in her own with: Abhijeet yahan daikho mairi taraf baita…
Abhijeet obeyed her quietly with: Jee…?
Aarti softly placing her free hand on his cheek, looked deep in his eyes with: Kyun disturbed hai maira baita, hmm…? (Abhijeet getting shocked had instantly turned his face away while hiding his eyes when Aarti softly turned his face towards her again with…) Abhijeet aap ko ptta hai na baita, Maa sy kuchh nahin chhupaty kyun k unhien ptta chal hi jata hai… (When seeing that the kid was not really a sharer and hence she had to try a little harder to know what was bothering him, Aarti softly freeing his hand, lovingly cupped his face and made him look at herself with…) Abhijeet, btao mujhy baita please…? Humari kisi baat sy hurt…
Abhijeet instantly cut her while looking at her restlessly with: Nahin auntie please…
Aarti cut him politely with: Tou phir btao mujhy k kya baat hai, kyun itny disturbed ho aap, kya… (And she stopped while worriedly wrapping the kid in a motherly embrace seeing a salty drop quietly slipped down his eye and Aarti stamping a soft kiss on his head, asked him caringly as…) Abhijeet share kro baita please, btao mujhy kya hua hai haan…?
Abhijeet still hiding in that loving embrace, said in moist tone as: Mm-mujhy sooty mein perchhaiyan dikhti hain auntie, aawazien sunai perti hain mujhy neend mein, mujhy soony sy drr lagta hai bohut, main…
And he stopped with a lump in his throat when understanding what was going on with her kid…
Aarti having a light smile on her face now softly squeezed him with: Bewakoof bchchy, iss mein drr kyun rahy ho aap…? Bl k aap ko tou khush hona chahiye… (While smoothly separating him from the hug, she placed her hand under his chin and softly lifted his face up with…) Kyun k shaid mairy baity ko uss ki pehchan, uss ka priwar yaad aa raha hai, hmm…?
Abhijeet couldn't help and looked at her in great hurt with: Main kya kron ga unn ko yaad ker k auntie…? (While looking away, completed in whispered tone filled with immense pain as…) Yadashat mairi gae hain per lgta hai bhool woh sb gaye hain mujhy…
Aarti looked at him in great hurt with: Abhijeet easey nahin sochty baita… (Softly wiping off the moisture from his face, tried to give him illogical logics just as a motherly effort to somehow comfort her kid with…) Ho sakta hai k aap Shillong mein rehty hi na ho aur kisi school trip waghaira k sath aaye ho, ya apny kisi relative k sath aaye ho aur woh log khud sy aap ko dhond rahy hoon ta k aap k parents ko ptta na chaly aur woh preshan na hoon… (Still trying to make him feel better, added as…) Aur yeh bhi ho sakta hai k bhagwan jee chahty hoon k humien aap k sath thora zada time mil jaye spend kerny k liye, hai na…? (Abhijeet gave her a small-forced smile while Aarti softly patted his cheek with…) Achha chalo, udaas nahin hoty yun, ab jaldi sy mujhy aik pyari si smile doo, aap ko doo chocolates dun gi phir…
Unintentionally a light chuckle escaped the kid's mouth and without saying anything, moving forward he quietly gave her a tight hug who too had lovingly squeezed him in her loving shell while stamping a soft kiss on his head and praying in her heart for the kid's betterment…
When soon seeing him separating from that comforting embrace and looking much better now…
Aarti told him in light smile as: Chalo ab aap jaldi sy mun dho k aao, main aap ka inaam ly k aati hoon…
Abhijeet knowing what she meant slightly shook his head with: Nahin auntie please, mujhy shaid chocolates pasand nahin hain, but thank you, sach…
Aarti gave him a little shocking look with: Aap ko chocolates pasand nahin hain…? (Abhijeet having a small-awkward smile just shook his head while Aarti added as…) Tou phir kya pasand hai aap ko…?
Abhijeet getting quiet, just shrugged with: Ptta nahin, lekin chocolates nahin pasand…
Aarti leaving the topic there, nodded with: Chalo koe nahin, subah mairy baity k liye koe naya inaam sochien gy, abhi aap jaldi sy soo jao, pehly hi bohut raat ho gae hai…
Abhijeet nodded slightly with: Main mun dho k aata hoon…
Aarti nodded in light smile and Abhijeet left from there towards the bathroom and Aarti left from there towards the kitchen while grabbing the tray with herself…
Soon Abhijeet returned in the room to find the room empty and the wall-clock was just minutes away from announcing the next day's beginning… Hence leaving towards the switchboard he quietly turned off the room's light and returned to his bed… Unfolding the sheet, he sat on the bed and was about to lie down to sleep when stopped seeing Aarti entering in his room again and…
Abhijeet thinking she returned to check on him, told her in assuring tone as: Auntie main bs soony lgga tha…
Aarti giving him a soft smile sat on the other side of the bed with: Hmm good boy… (And unfolding the sheet she brought with herself, she too lied down beside him in half-lying posture and turned towards the confused kid with…) Kya ho gaya bhae, soona nahin hai aap ny, lait jao chalo jaldi sy… (Abhijeet still looking utterly confused nodded slightly and lied down quietly when Aarti softly spreading hand on his face, told him lovingly as…) Main aaj aap k sath soo'on gi, phir daikhti hoon kaisy koe sapna preshan kerta hai mairy itny bahadur baity ko… (Abhijeet getting really quiet at his place looked at her with mixed emotions, when seeing him getting overwhelmed Aarti asked him smilingly as…) Aap neend mein tangien tou nahin maarty na…?
Unintentionally a loud laugh escaped the kid's mouth with moisture still visible in his deep communicative eyes and still having a sweet smile on his face…
Abhijeet slightly shook his head with: Nahin, shaid…
Aarti nodded in soft smile with: Phir theek hai… (And placing a soft kiss near his eye, looked at him with…) Yunhi muskuraty raha kro, achhy lgty ho… (Abhijeet nodded slightly while giving her a sweetness-filled-shy smile while Aarti softly placed her hand on his eyes with…) Chalo soo jao ab jaldi sy shabash, good night…
Abhijeet still having a sweet-shy smile on his face, whispered as: Good night auntie…
And he kept lying there with closed eyes, with a small-relax smile now playing on his face, because of feeling protected with his hand now wrapped in Aarti's secure grip… When seeing him slowly drifting into his dreamland and getting relaxed from his side, Aarti too closed her eyes and soon the two were enjoying a peaceful sleep…
Dining Area…
Next day's morning rose and seeing Abhijeet still enjoying his peaceful sleep, Aarti quietly left towards her room, to get fresh and then left towards the kitchen to prepare breakfast knowing soon her other two kids would be returning from the park…
And soon one after another, Abhijeet and Malay too woke up and now all residents of the home could be seen enjoying their breakfast while having some light family time…
When after having breakfast, Malay had left towards his office and Aarti got busy with the house-helper while the kids made their way towards the lounge…
Lounge…
As last night, they had no time to see each other's shopping, so now the kids were busy in making up for the last night…
Where Sunil could be seen busy in analysing the detective novel Abhijeet had chosen for himself while Abhijeet had just placed back the Dissection box Sunil had selected for himself while Daya, looking completely cut-off from the two, was deeply involved in testing the multi-coloured ball-pens, he had selected for himself, on his writing-pad and surprisingly the kids were quite quiet, looking deeply involved in their activities…
After around a minute, Daya getting satisfied that the ball-pens were working fine, placed them aside and moving his head up, turned to see other things present there on the centre-table when his facial expressions changed from casual to confused and then worried seeing Abhijeet was continuously rubbing his forehead while looking in his lap, hence Daya followed his gaze and got more confused seeing his Physics course book as Abhijeet's focus, who was unknowingly clutching its page in a loose fist…
Daya looked towards Sunil to find him completely involved in reading the novel and he again looked towards Abhijeet to find his face slowly turning red with his eyes closed and teeth tightly clutched now, like he was trying to control over his pain… Getting worried, Daya again looked towards Sunil and thinking about how to get his attention as Abhijeet was sitting in the middle and the two were sitting on the either side of the centre-table, Daya getting an idea, grabbed one of his ball-pens from the centre-table and with a little force threw that towards Sunil, breaking his engrossment in the novel and…
Sunil grabbing the ball-pen looked towards him annoyingly with: Daya kya yar, tum…
And he stopped with Daya little anxiously signalling him towards Abhijeet hence he too turned his confused gaze towards Abhijeet and seeing him sitting there like that, Sunil instantly placed the novel and ball-pen aside and hurriedly left towards him and…
Sunil while softly grabbing Abhijeet's upper-arm, asked him worriedly as: Abhijeet kya hua, tumhary srr mein dard ho raha hai kya…?
Abhijeet nodded slightly with: Ptta nahin, main ny yeh book daikhi hai pehly, mujhy yaad kyun nahin aa raha, main…
And suddenly he screamed in pain while grabbing his head in his both hands now, scaring both the kids and…
Sunil instantly turned towards Daya with: Daya, pani…
Giving him a nod, Daya hurried away from there towards the kitchen while Sunil kept rubbing Abhijeet's back, shoulders, upper-arms, trying to comfort him somehow when listening to his another pain-filled scream and seeing him now going into prostration because of the throbbing pain in his head as his hands were trembling now because of the intensity of pain…
Sunil getting panicked stood up while calling a little aloud as: Daya jaldi aao please, yeh… (And seeing Daya already returning, he told him in a hurried tone as…) Tum yahan rukko, main maa ko bula k lata hoon, ptta nahin issy kya ho gaya hai achanak sy…
Daya nodded tensely while leaving towards Abhijeet while Sunil rushed towards the home's backside, knowing his mother was busy there with the helper in cleaning the room which was used as Daya's classroom and as the room was little away from the lounge, hence she couldn't listen or know what's going on in the home…
On the other side, reaching near Abhijeet, Daya placing the glass aside had helped Abhijeet in sitting again while supporting him in a side-hug and attached the glass to his lips, trying to help him take few sips, having no idea what else to do…
Where Abhijeet somehow gulping down a sip or two, slightly pushed Daya's hand away while crying in pain now with his body completely dipped in sweat and salty drops raining down from his eyes and his voice gradually dropping now…
Any elder could easily tell that he was slowly losing conscious because of bearing immense pain in his head but Daya couldn't know it, and knowing nothing how to comfort him, grabbing a random magazine from the centre-table, he started fanning Abhijeet with it, hoping it would help him to feel better… But seeing it wasn't working, Daya placing the magazine aside, grabbed the tissue-box from the centre-table and taking out few tissues from it, softly started wiping off Abhijeet's face which was completely covered in sweat and tears now…
When in that his hand touched Abhijeet's face and getting perplexed, he intentionally touch his forehead and cheek to find them turning cold while he could still see sweat drops on his face… Knowing nothing what was going on with him and feeling much scared now, praying for Aarti and Sunil's return, he again looked towards the path but seeing it still empty he turned back towards Abhijeet in scare-filled-tension and got confused seeing his moving lips, like he was mumbling something…
Daya thinking he might need something, moved close to him to be able to listen as Abhijeet's voice was hardly audible now because of him being in a semi-conscious state, and few words reached Daya's ear, making him more confused when something strike in Daya's head and he instantly looked towards Abhijeet's face in shock but panicked the very next moment, seeing his voice completely stopped now and his head fell at one side in Daya's arm while his eyes were completely closed…
Getting hell scared and tensed, Daya hurriedly patted his cheek in the effort to wake him up but seeing it going in vain, he grabbed the water glass and sprinkled some water on his face when seeing nothing was working, now getting really distressed, he lie him down on the carpet and stood up… Daya was about to rush to call Aarti himself when stopped seeing them already returning and seeing his pale face and agitated body-language, Aarti hurried forward, followed by a very worried Sunil…
When sitting on the carpet, Aarti smoothly picked Abhijeet up while caringly shifting him in her lap and carefully checked his sinus and body temperature and though she got worried for the kid, clearly sensing he wasn't fine at-all…
Aarti turned towards the other two worried souls, trying to relax them as: Preshan nahin ho aap log, theek ho jaye ga Abhijeet bilkul lekin pehly issy hospital ly k jana ho ga foren…
Sunil asked worriedly as: Main aap ki gaari ki keys laon Maa…?
Aarti slightly shook her head with: Nahin, pehly aap bahir sy guard-uncle ko bula k lao, Abhijeet ko gaari mein shift kerna ho ga… (And seeing Sunil already leaving the spot, she turned towards Daya with…) Aur Daya, baita room sy maira purse aur mobile ly k aao jaldi sy, mobile charging py lgga ho ga…
Daya nodded and left towards the room the same second…
Porch…
Within few minutes, they were present in the porch with Abhijeet now lying in the backseat of the car, resting his head in Sunil's lap while Daya and Aarti were present on the passenger and driving seats, respectively…
When seeing the gatekeeper had already opened the gate, Aarti left the home towards the hospital…
In Car…
On their way…
Aarti concentrating on the driving, told the kids as: Daya, baita mobile Sunil ko doo aur Sunil, aap Baba ko phone kro aur unhien bttao k hum hospital ja rahy hain Abhijeet ko ly k…
The kids instantly obeyed her when…
Sunil removing the mobile from his ear, told her a little worriedly as: Maa, Baba call attend nahin ker rahy, dobara kron…?
Aarti slightly shook her head with: Nahin, woh shaid meeting mein hoon gy iss samey… (Taking a momentary pause, told him as…) Raghav uncle ko call ker k daikho, shaid woh pick ker lien…
Sunil nodded and obeyed her and Raghav picked the call so after telling him and listening to the other side, Sunil ended the call with a thanks and…
Sunil turned towards his mother with: Maa, uncle keh rahy hain woh bhi hospital aa rahy hain…
Aarti nodded in reply and glancing over still unconscious Abhijeet's face, she increased the speed of the car, though still being really careful considering there were three kids in the car…

Raghav whispered to himself in shock-filled-pain as: Tou iss liye ab tk kisi ny iss ki missing complaint nahin likhwai, aur na hi jahan accident hua, uss k aas-paas kisi ny iss ki tasveer ko pehchana… (Completed in thoughtful whispered tone as…) Kyun k uss raat yeh wahan cycling nahin ker raha tha bl k shaid apni jaan bcha k apny ghar sy bhaag raha tha… (Striking something, whispered to himself in shock as…) Tou kahin yeh accident bhi tou…
And he looked towards the room-door in silence-filled-pain when the next moment, feeling real rage and anger in himself, he stood up and left towards the reception while dialing a number…
