On the other side, in the hospital, few minutes back Raghav had received the call from Avinash telling him that those youngsters were claiming that the accident was indeed an accident and because they got scared seeing they had hit someone with their car, hence flew from the scene and according to Avinash's observation and experience, it seemed that they were telling the truth so Raghav told him to leave them alone for now…
And after ending the call with Avinash, Raghav could be seen now sitting on the couch reading a magazine when a soft door knock grabbed his attention and Raghav moved his gaze towards the room door to find his police constable standing there and…

Some more minutes had passed when Raghav's mobile started vibrating again so placing the now closed magazine aside he grabbed his mobile and looking at the caller ID…

Aarti replied as: Jee bhai sahab bs abhi thori dair hue… Wahan sb theek hai, Abhijeet theek hai…?

Raghav nodded and realizing something, asked her in cautious tone as: Aur bhabhi aap ny apny ghar ka address ya contact details tou nahin dien Suresh ko…?
Aarti slightly shook her head plainly with: Nahin bhai sahab, unhon ny kaha hi nahin…
Raghav nodded while muttering to himself as: Yeh achha ho gaya… (And then realizing that Aarti was still listening to him, he softly cleared his throat while completing as…) Achha bhabhi aap ko ab Germany contact kerny ki koe zarorat nahin hai please, main apny tariqy sy ptta kerwa lun ga sb…
Aarti, who was already regretting now for contacting in Abhijeet's home without consulting Raghav first, nodded slightly with: Jee bhai sahab theek hai, jaisy aap ko theek lggy…
Raghav nodded while ending the call with: Chalien bhabhi phir baad mein baat hoti hai, namasty…
And the call got ended from both sides with Aarti replying from the other side…
Raghav kept sitting there while thinking about the recent information sidewise waiting for the text from Aarti, which he soon received having all the information Aarti had gotten so far and reading all that information had made Raghav more confused, as nothing was making any sense to him and he looked towards the sleeping kid, hoping that now he might be able to shed some light on those blur points…
Around half an hour had passed during which Raghav made few phone calls, trying to dig out some information by himself when soon noticing the kid was slowly waking up now, Raghav placing the magazine on the table, stood up and leaving towards the room door, asked a passing-by ward-boy to send Abhijeet's doctor in the room and receiving an assurance in reply, he returned to the kid…
Adjusting the chair beside Abhijeet's bed he sat on it and soon Abhijeet woke up completely, who looked around in silence-filled-confusion, trying to grasp the current scenario when his gaze fell on the smiley face sitting beside him and…
Raghav told him in soft smile as: Aap k doctor uncle ko bulaya hai, woh aa rahy hain thori dair mein… (Abhijeet nodded slightly so Raghav asked in same soft tone as…) Aap ko dard tou nahin ho raha ab srr mein baita…?
Abhijeet slightly shook his head with: Nahin uncle, zada nahin hai…
Raghav nodded slightly while asking him politely as: Aap ko ptta hai baita k aap iss waqt kahan ho…?
Abhijeet looked at him quietly for a moment and then nodded slightly with: Shillong k hospital mein…

And he opened his mouth to ask further queries to know how much he remembers but stopped looking hesitant, thinking to first ask from his doctor while…

Abhijeet nodded him in silent smile when the same time the two turned their gazes towards the room door and Raghav stood up from his place, seeing the doctor coming inside…
Raghav kept standing aside in silence seeing the doctor busy in his work while sidewise asking routine questions from the kid and getting satisfactory responses in reply and soon…

Raghav worriedly sitting in front of him, had smoothly secured the kid in a hug and caringly started rubbing his back with: Abhijeet leave it baita, just relax Okay, just relax, calm down…

And he just tightened the grip around the kid sidewise tugging his mobile back in his pocket and he kept consoling the kid while thinking some other way out as neither he could leave him like that in the dark about his own identity nor could force him to remember something, it was a very difficult and tricky situation and required loads of patience to deal with…
Soon feeling that Abhijeet had calmed down, Raghav smoothly separated him and wiping off the sweat from his face, he caringly patted his cheek and pouring water in a glass…

Abhijeet nodded quietly while grabbing the water glass when seeing him slowly sipping the water now, Raghav was about to stand when listening to a door knock they both turned their gazes towards the room door to find a nurse coming inside with a food tray and seeing their attentions turning towards them…

Abhijeet nodded in light smile and left towards his bed and soon got busy in having his lunch, leaving all other thoughts aside for a while…

Veer, who was already briefed in great detail from Raghav, nodded understandably with: Sir…
Raghav nodding him back, turned towards the kid and told him softly as: Aur aap ab soony ki koshish kro, kuchh sochny ki zarorat nahin hai, shaam mein main aata hoon, theek hai…?
And receiving an assuring nod in return, Raghav left from there, getting relaxed from the kids side while Abhijeet slowly closed his eyes, falling into sleep again and Veer had grabbed his seat on the couch, busy playing game on his mobile…
Around five of the evening Raghav returned in the hospital and first after meeting with Abhijeet's doctor to discuss few things with him first, he came in Abhijeet's room to find Abhijeet awake and both Abhijeet and Veer were smiling on something, busy in their talks…
When listening to someone coming in the room the two turned their gazes towards the room door and seeing him coming inside, Veer instantly stood up from the chair and was about to salute him when…

Raghav just shook his head in disappointed smile and knowing there was no use of repeating himself, he told him softly as: Tum ab ghar jao Veer, thank you, main hoon ab yahan…

And looking towards the kid he waved him while mouthing a "Bye" receiving the same smiley response in return…
And seeing now only Raghav and Abhijeet left in the room…
Raghav asked him in soft smile as: Hmm tou lagta hai aap ki dosti ho gae thi Veer bhaiya sy, hmm…?
Abhijeet nodded in cute smile with: Jee, thori thori, hum mobile games ki baatien ker rahy thy…
Raghav chuckled softly with: Hmm, it's very Veer… (And taking a momentary pause, continued as…) Achha khair, bahir ghoomny chalo gy aap…? Aap k doctor uncle sy permission mil gae hai…
Abhijeet understanding something, asked him quietly as: Aap mujhy ussi address py ly k jaien gy kya jo dopahar ko dikhaya tha…?
Raghav slightly shook his head with: Nahin baita, kahin aur jaien gy hum, chalo gy aap…?
Abhijeet nodded agreeably and soon left the room and then the hospital, with him…
In The Car…
Their journey towards some unknown destination to Abhijeet was going on in complete silence as Raghav was giving him due time to observe the surroundings, which he was really hoping would do some good to him…
When Abhijeet who was sitting there quietly, suddenly sat straight and hurriedly turned his neck towards the sign board that was slowly moving away now while Raghav who was much alert from the kid's side, had decreased the speed of already slow-paced car and…
Raghav told him politely as: Abhijeet, baita srr ander kro apna aap…
Abhijeet who was already too confused and restless, couldn't process his words and turned towards him with: Jee…?
Raghav repeated himself calmly with: Ander ho k baitho bchchy, srr bahir nahin nikalo gaari sy…
Abhijeet nodded restlessly while trying to obey the latter and started looking outside again feeling himself caught in some kind of déjà-vu as the scenes passing his eyes were looking to him like he had seen them earlier too, he had been there when seeing a turn…
Abhijeet unintentionally hurriedly asked the latter as: Uncle yeh, yeh turn lien please, yahan iss society mein… (Raghav smiling secretly and in relieve quietly took that turn when the security guard stopped them from entering and Abhijeet whispered dreamily as…) Bahir waly kisi ko ander nahin jany daity yahan, jb tk koe society sy bulany na aaye…
Raghav without interrupting the kid's thoughts silently drove inside as after seeing him in uniform and his police-badge which he showed him in silence sidewise signaling him to keep silence, the guard had let them in…
A Walled Society...
Raghav knew where he was going but he wanted the kid to direct him and so far the kid was doing good hence he continued driving on not more than 30 mph speed while Abhijeet continued directing him, without even realizing or known of the fact that it was the last memory saved in his brain before the accident and suddenly…
Abhijeet said hurriedly as: Uncle bs, yahan rook dien please, iss lawn k samny…
Raghav silently applied the brakes and the two moved out from the car…
When Abhijeet kept standing there looking around, not understanding why he had taken Raghav there and what to-do next as that was certainly not the place whose address he had read in Raghav's mobile then what was that place and how he knew it…?

Understanding nothing he slowly entered in the lawn and started looking around blankly when seeing him standing there for some minutes now…
Raghav approaching him, softly pressed his shoulder with: Abhijeet…?!
Abhijeet turned towards him, still looking in some kind of trance, telling him as: Main ny yeh jagah pehly daikhi hai uncle, main yahan aaya hoon, ptta nahin kyun aur kb lekin main yahan aaya hoon…
Raghav nodded him softly with: Mujhy ptta hai baita… (Abhijeet looked at him restlessly while Raghav taking out a broken mobile phone, which was placed inside a plastic bag on which "Evidence" was written, from his pocket he showed it to the kid as…) Iss mobile ko pehchanty ho aap…?
Abhijeet grabbing the mobile from him kept looking it again and again from different angles when started mumbling more to himself as: Yeh toota hua hai… Yeh kyun toota hua hai, yeh kaisy…? (And looked towards Raghav while looking really helpless with…) Mm, main ny toora hai na yeh uncle, mujh sy toota hai yeh… (Without waiting for any reply, nodded to himself with…) Main ny toora hai lekin main ny kyun toora hai…? Aur yeh mobile… (Abruptly stopping there, uttered loudly as…) Pp-Papa… (Looked towards Raghav with…) Mairy Papa ka mobile hai yeh… (Started looking away again while restlessly rubbing his fingers on his forehead with…) Mm-mujhy dia tha unhon ny jany sy pehly lekin kahan jany sy pehly aur mujhy kyun dia tha, aur main yahan kyun aaya tha, maira ghar nahin hai yahan lekin phir maira ghar kahan hai, mujhy kuchh yaad kyun nahin aa raha, main yahan…
When seeing him getting quite restless and stressed…
Raghav finally cut him with: Abhijeet relax baita, relax, itna sb yaad aa gaya na baqi sb bhi aa jaye ga yaad, just relax… (And cupping his face, he softly wiped off the kid's teary eyes with…) Relax baita, itna preshan ya nirash hony ki zarorat nahin hai bilkul, jaldi sb yaad aa jaye ga aap ko, vishvas rakho, hmm…? (Abhijeet nodded him slowly and looked around again trying to figure out any answer of those queries running in his mind when Raghav smoothly wrapped him in a side-hug with…) Aao chalo, ab chalien yahan sy, aaj k liye itni exercise kafi hai, aao shabash…
And he smoothly took the kid out from the lawn while sidewise grabbing the mobile from his hand as it was the evidence for a case and as far as Raghav was able to connect the dots, he was quite certain now that Abhijeet was might not be the victim but was the eye-witness of the crime happened on Saturday night there…
The Car…
After sitting on the driving seat, Raghav looked towards the kid to find him sitting there quietly with closed eyes resting his head on the headrest and thinking of giving him some time now, Raghav starting the car, drove off from there…
On their way…
Raghav told him in casual tone as: Ptta hai Abhijeet, college life mein main kafi shirarti hota tha, kabhi kabhi classes bhi bunk ker daita tha… (Abhijeet looked at him in confusion-filled-silent smile, not understanding the context of that thing when glancing over him, Raghav winked at the kid with…) Aap ko bhi aaj hospital sy bunk kerwaty hain, mzza aaye ga…
Unknowingly a broad smile appeared on Abhijeet's face and hurriedly sitting straight…
Abhijeet trying to be sure, asked him as: Aap mujhy hospital nahin ly k ja rahy uncle…?
Raghav shook his head in soft smile with: Nahin… (And continued in soft tone as…) Lekin aap ny apny brain py ab bilkul pressure nahin daina ta k dobara uss tarahn sy hospital jana bhi na prry, warna ab ki baar dono ko dantt prry gi doctor uncle sy, promise…?
Abhijeet nodded in silent-but-assuring smile with: Promise…
Raghav gave a soft pat on his cheek with: Good boy…
And he concentrated back on the driving as after observing the kid getting stressed and feeling helpless in the current situation, he knew it well that taking him back in the hospital would only increase it hence he decided to take him back to his friends', knowing he would feel much better there…
Malay's Home…
Soon Raghav had parked the car in the home's driveway to find Malay and Sunil already present outside, who came out after listening to the car honk's and their gatekeeper opening the gate…
When seeing them coming out from the car…
Sunil almost forgetting to greet his uncle just nodded to him and rushed towards his friend with: Abhijeet, shuker hai tum aa gaye, ptta hai kitna miss ker raha tha main tumhien…
Abhijeet gave him a cute smile while greeting "Hello" to Malay when…
Raghav objected complainingly as: Arry main aap k friend ko hospital sy bunk kerwa k laya hoon aur mujhy koe Hello, Hi, hi nahin…?
Sunil looked towards him displeasingly with: Aap ny mujhy hospital mein btaya nahin na k aap Abhijeet ko aaj hi ghar ly aaien gy tou main ab aap sy naraz hoon…
Raghav gave him a highly disappointed look with: Aik tou main ny surprise dia aap ko aur aap ulta mujh sy hi naraz ho, theek hai phir, aagy sy no surprise…
Sunil instantly regretting his words hurriedly shook his head with: Arry kya uncle, main tou yunhi mazaq ker raha tha, aap tou serious ho gaye… (Raghav gave him a sternly-sweet smile when moving near him, Sunil gave him a tight hug around his waist with…) Thank you mairy dost ko ghar lany k liye…
Raghav moving him back while lightly grabbing his ear, asked in fake disappointed tone as: Achha dost ko lany ka thank you, aur mairy aany ki koe khushi nahin…?
Sunil placing hand on his ear, doing more acting than required, replied as: Uncle, aap k dost krien gy na aap ko thank you… (Looked towards his father for help with…) Hai na Baba… (Feeling the grip getting tightened on his ear, he screamed dramatically with…) Haye uncle, thank you thank you aany k liye, aap k aany ka bhi bohut bohut shukriya, ab kaan tou chhorien please… (And hurriedly moving back started massaging his recently freed ear with…) Bohut hi kharab hai aap uncle, ager abhi maira kaan toot jata tou…?
Raghav replied in straight tone as: Tou jaisy ab tk bina dimagh k zinda ho, bina kaan k bhi reh hi lo gy…
Two persons burst out in loud laugh listening to that when Sunil glared at one of the two, displeasingly, who really tried hard to suppress his laugh but was unable to and Sunil uttering a loud "Hunh", grabbing that still giggling one's arm, nearly dragged him in the home, still busy in his grumblings, leaving the other two friends enjoying each other's company…
Lounge…
When coming in the lounge…
Sunil said happily as: Maa, Daya, daikhien zrra Raghav uncle kisay ly k aaye hain…?
The two had already turned their gazes towards him listening to that call and…
Aarti moving towards them softly cupped Abhijeet's face and placing a soft kiss on his forehead, asked him softly as: Ab theek ho aap…?
Abhijeet nodded slightly with: Jee, kafi…
Aarti gave a soft pat on his cheek with: Good…
And seeing Raghav and Malay coming inside, she left to greet them when Sunil looked towards the person who was though left behind Aarti but was still standing near the couch and…
Sunil asked him in warned tone as: Daya tum ny sach mein room mein bnd hona hai kya…?
Daya gave him a displeased look, receiving a firm glare in return hence he quietly moved his gaze away when understanding what Sunil was asking him to-do, Abhijeet thinking to take out the latter from his situation was about to leave towards him when…
Sunil lightly clutched his wrist, whispering him in soft tone as: Ager tum hi ussy approach kerty rahy tou woh khud sy tumhien approach nahin ker paye ga…
Abhijeet looked towards him to receive an assuring look hence he nodded him understandably when inhaling deeply Daya hesitantly left towards the two and standing in front of Abhijeet…
Daya slowly stretched his hand towards the latter while having a very small smile on his face and Abhijeet in warm smile grabbed his hand with "Thank you…", understanding it's Daya's way of welcoming him in the home and the two smoothly pulled back their hands…
When seeing Daya leaving towards the study now to greet Raghav, seeing Malay had already taken him there while Aarti was now busy in the kitchen, preparing for the dinner…
Sunil turned towards Abhijeet with: Chalo, hum bhi lounge mein chal k baithty hain…
Abhijeet nodded while moving with him with: Wasey yeh Daya ko room mein bnd kerny wali kya dhamki thi…
Sunil shrugged with: Main ny kaha tha ussy k ager uss ny khud sy effort na ki tou main tum dono ko tb tk room mein bnd rakhon ga jb tk tumhari dosti nahin ho jati…
Abhijeet asked him in shock-filled-disappointed tone as: Mujhy kyun…?
Sunil looked at him disappointedly with: Tum sy dosti jo kerwani hai, akely ussy bnd kerny ka kya faida ho ga, woh tou baith k kavetain likhna shuru ker dy ga bs…
Abhijeet chuckled softly and the two kept sitting there, having such light talks while enjoying the music show on TV, soon got joined by Daya too…
