Hey guys.. Things are now starting to get a bit interesting in the story stick around

I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT

Bella POV

This time when I went to talk to Aro about my day I had some interesting stories to tell him. I still under no means had forgiven him for what he did to me and Edward but I did enjoy his company when it came to talking. It was therapeutic for me in a way and also very easing to know that Aro had decided that for now I was useful to him. I first told him about the rooms and the progress I had made. I told him that I was getting the hang of the chores and walkways that I'd be able to soon not have Rae by my side. He had simply gave a small smile to that. I didn't think that under any means that he would let me have that leisure but it was still good to be hopeful. Next the thing I talked to him about were my experiences with the other Vampires.

"Immortals." He corrected me.

I simply nodded and continued. I explained to him that I had met a Vampire today who had been kind enough to feed me. Once I said that his entire expression changed. His face once filled with wonder now filled with content and suddenly his red hues seemed interested in this new Immortal I spoke of.

"It was strange. To see another immortal eating. It made me feel comfortable and at ease." I admitted.

I could tell my wording could not have been more wrong because as soon as I said that His eyes turned red as fire and suddenly His hands moved from in front of him toward his arm rest.

"This is not a party. This is an arrangement. Exploration is punishable without a guide. May I remind you Miss Isabella, Mortals are nothing more than Prey to us in this domain."

My heart sank after he said that and suddenly my Hands began to sweat. Rae had talk of punishment before but I never knew what she would have meant. But at the same time, I became angry. How did he expect mortals to keep sane in here, How did he expect to keep me in here. In this hell. Others had been brainwashed into believing whatever they were taught here, but I wasn't one of them.

"You think this entire stay is not a punishment in itself?" I asked . "You tore me away from my family , from the person I loved. You keep me locked up in this dungeon like some toy. The women and men that serve you are like terrified children. Who constantly tremble in fear, afraid you will end their life!"

It wasn't until my hands clenched together that I realized I had yelled. I stood up. My chest puffing up and my eyes becoming blurred. "Who the Hell are you to tell me that I can not at the very least not become like those zombifield women!"

Aro looked at me at this time. He really stared at me and for a second I was halfway expecting him to say something but I knew he wouldn't. Aro wasn't like that. He wouldn't argue. He would act. At that point, I was prepared. I expected him to stand up. He didn't however. He stayed seated and just stared. His entire face is a mask of fury. I sat back down. I put my head in my hands and ran them through my hair, really frustrated with this entire ordeal. Here I was being forced to talk to him every single day.

'Did he even care about my feelings?' I wondered

'No of course not Isabella.', My own inner voice scolded. "He is your enemy, not a friend."

Somehow I could not accept that. There were plenty of other mortals he could mingle with, Yet he chose me to sit down and talk to. Every Night.

My outburst must have alerted his servants. A Mortal in a red gown had come to see what the commotion was about and suddenly I could smell the sticky iron mixed in with perfume. I turned to the person. She was a Female with dark hair and blue eyes. Teeth marks all over her neck, legs and body.

"Is there a problem Master Aro." she asked quietly.

Aro looked at her. His face full of fury now replaced with fake gentleness. He held out his arm to call her over and she quickly made her way toward him. "Nothing is the matter sweet, Denise…Miss Isabella and I were having a discussion."

"A pretty loud one." the girl added.

"Yes indeed." Aro stated. "My apologies if I scared you. Please come sit down on my lap. I shall calm you."

The girl obeyed. She even laid her head against his chest while letting out a couple of deep breaths. Aros' hand went toward the girl's head and he caressed it very gently.

"Miss Isabella seems to think that women of your status are scared. Of me. Crazy isn't it?"

"Yes Master Aro. Crazy is the right word for that."

The entire time Aros' eyes stayed glued to mine. He seemed to have a trick up his sleeve. Something sinister truly behind those eyes. I watched him and the girl. I suddenly wanted to be excused. I knew what was to come next.

'But would he really do that?' My brain Rocked.

Aro smiled before finally looking back to the girl pulling her hair back. "Miss Isabella also seems to think that we truly are the bad guys."

"Crazy." the girl stated. Clearly enjoying his touch.

Aro took one last look at me before finally saying one last thing. "Not as I." With the ending statement he dug his teeth into the girl's neck and held her close. Draining her of every ounce of blood as she squirmed in his grasp before finally going very still and turning very pale. Once she was nothing more than a rag doll he tossed her lifeless body aside and was in front of my face. His hand grasping my dark hair and slamming it back against the wall. My own eyes were forced to look at his. He leaned close to my ear and finally whispered a haunting phrase.

"This is far from my form of punishment."

Letting my hair go He dismissed me and I ran back toward my room locking the door. I could feel tears well in my eyes as I fell against it. Aro had just confirmed my heartbreaking theory.

He truly was a monster.

I wanted to go home.

The next day

That morning I woke up to the hard marble floor. My hair was in a disarray of mess and my heart felt as heavy as my feet. I tried to convince myself that yesterday had been a really awful dream. That this entire time had been an awful dream. My convincing wasn't rewarded , because as soon as I glanced around the room I could see my bed with felt sheets all neatly made up. A quiet knock followed by a thick hispanic accent followed.

"Miss Isabella, You must open up."

I turned around and opened the door to see Rae. She held a basket of clothes in her arms. A concerned look on her face. I looked at her and down her neck and arm. Two new bite marks already healing and some still bruised from all the feeding. I practically fell against her sobbing like a child who had lost a loved one.

I could not stand this.

Rae had said nothing while I cried. Her movement had only included shutting the door and caressing my messy hair. She let me for a couple of moments truly get out all that had happened yesterday. Once I had calmed down decently Rae led me to the bathroom and began getting a cool rag all foamed up with a bar of soap.

"Isabella, You must not be upset. This will not make a good look for either of us." She said while washing my face with gentle strokes before putting the cool rag on my now red eyes and burning cheeks.

I nodded. Taking a few deep breaths to truly get myself together. While I did this Rae spoke of a new position I had been given. She explained that due to all my hard work I'd put in with cleaning, That I had been promoted to a Servant at Caius's Bar. This did not make me feel better but I nodded pretty happy to have Rae here chatting with me and helping me look presentable. She explained what a servant for the bar meant and what that would entail.

I had been putting on a Vintage satin black gown when she explained the duties of a servant.

"Many Immortals go down to Master Cauis's bar to either feed or just get drunk with the mortals and Red Dress women. As a servant you do not have to worry about being Mistaken for a feeder. If an Immortal decides to do that they will be punished by Master Aro or Master Caius. I have heard for them it is much worse than us mortals. "

I nodded.

"You will clean the front of the bar's tables, floor, and serve the attendees. After all the Immortals leave you will then take the red dressed girls to their rooms in the bar and clean out the Feeding areas. Once everything has finished and nightfall has fallen I will come get you to take you to Master Aro."

At the mention of Aro I frowned. My heart is still upset by his actions last night.

Rae took a black headpiece and placed it in my hair as she combed the strands down. She even took this time to Apply some light makeup to my face explaining that Master Caius preferred his Servants to look beautiful at all times. When Rae finished fussing with me she stood up and led me out of my room and down the corridor.

"Smile Miss Isabella. You have just been promoted. Everything from here on out will be for the better." She stated hopefully.

I truly hoped it would.
