I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT
The bar itself looked more like a fancy dark club restaurant. It had a black chandelier filled with red jewels and black glass tables with wine cups of all sizes filling each of the chair spaces. There were a couple of closed off rooms that held a beautiful Rose crest on the doors and red lace draping across it. Rae mentioned those rooms as feeding rooms, and I avoided those rooms as much as possible, not listening to moans in those rooms. There were more pretty women in this bar with Red gowns and More with black gowns. The Red gowned women seemed to be Entertainment for the Immortals of more adultery taste. It was a sight to see and an even more horrific sight to clean. Tables would either get stained with blood or red wine and the floors would mainly be where the more vivid Immortals and Red dressed women kicked food and glass. When there was nothing to clean Black dressed women sat on the lounge couches either reapplying their makeup or simply chatting about whatever they felt. Soft music was played constantly. Nothing vulgar or Horrid in taste. A few black dressed women had made their way over to me as I was sitting on the lounge chair being pretty and Docile.
"You must be New." She said as she applied her Lipstick.
I turned to her doing my best to sound perky and content. "Does it show that much?" I asked.
"Badly." She said while combing the strands of her blonde hair. "Otherwise why would you be making a face of such distress."
I tried my hardest to think of an excuse. Nothing came to mind so I simply Shrugged watching this beautiful woman put on something she didn't need. "Well I am not exactly comfortable." I admitted.
"Most new girls aren't." She said confidently. "But they have to be. If they show signs of discomfort or distress they could be in for a world of trouble by the Higher Immortals."
I stood up straight at this point placing my hands neatly in my lap while I watched her continue to fuss over her appearance. This action brought a smile to her face because she closed her compacted mirror and put it down on the chair. Giving me a very bright grin.
"There you go New girl, That is half of the assignment. No slouching."
I snorted lightly. "The name is Bella."
"Well Bella, The name is Angela. I am practically the oldest of the Black dressed girls you could say."
I kicked up my brow. This woman could not have looked over 25. She looked great with a curvy body and beautiful golden locks of hair. Seeing my face she chuckled.
"Most girls do not last long. In Fact they disappear and are never to be heard of again."
I frowned at that. "So what happens to them?" I ask. "They become Immortals?"
Angela shook her head. "They become Red dressed women and don't stick around long enough to come back."
"They die?" I said in utter shock.
"Not sure. I have never gotten the chance to talk to them after they become a Red dress. Some are granted the pleasure of being a Golden dressed girl then they just become Master Caius's private Playthings."
"A golden dressed girl is a pleasure to be?" I asked. The idea of being of service to Caius other than at his bar made me want to throw up.
"Why yes. Who would not want to be like the Immortals above them all? A personal a pleasure."
I rolled my eyes.
"Roll those doey eyes all you want Bella, but the Golden dress girls are better treated than us Black dress girls. I hear they even get one on one time with the Immortals and even get the leisure of shopping and wearing even more fine clothes."
I said nothing. Just looked at the bar. That was until we heard sounds of glass breaking. Both of us stood up at that point and made our way over in opposite directions.
Once the nightfall had come, I had officially been drenched in damp Alcohol and blood induced wine. My Face had been sore from the smiles I'd given and my body ached like nobody's business. I had just finished cleaning the floors and tables. Resetting it as if it had never been empty or touched. The other Black Dress women had escorted the Red Dressed women to their appropriate rooms and I began to see why they would not last long. Some were so intoxicated and weak that they could do nothing but groan and moan. Others just smiled and giggled practically being dragged to their appropriate rooms. I was thankful that I did not have to be that girl. While I cleaned the tables and reset the front I hummed quietly keeping myself sane. That was until my hums were interrupted by a familiar voice.
"This look does not suit you little pup."
I quickly raised my head to be greeted by the same ginger headed man I met yesterday. This time he wore a black shirt completely buttoned. His purple hues melted in mine.
"I agree." I simply said tiredly. "This is my new promotion."
"Shouldn't you be happy about that?" He asked, confused. "Don't all mortals wish to be of service to the Higher ups?"
"Not this one." I admitted.
He stayed quiet looking at me. I took this time to keep cleaning.
"If you are looking for service then the Bar is closed. " I said with a hint of agitation.
He still did not say anything. His movements drinked in mine. I had gotten to my third table when I finally looked at him. Annoyed now.
"What do you want?" I asked.
He looked surprised I had taken that tone with him. I looked down. My tiredness more apparent than ever.
"Lil Pup you need to get food in your system and rest."
"I will once my guide gets here. She said she would get me." I stated
"Will you even last until then?" He asked.
I tossed the rag on the table . My own hands grasping the end of the glass as if it was a cane to hold me up. "I don't even know your name." I stated.
"Rowan." He said.
"Well Rowan, I appreciate the concern but I am just fine."
I stood up straight to even further prove my point but right as I had made my way over to the Lounge chair I fell right on my knees.
Black spots poked my vision. Suddenly the Alcohol became more potent. Rowan quickly kneeled next to me, his cold arms holding over my shoulders.
"You are not fine lil Pup." he started. "You certainly won't last until your guide gets here with the amount of stress your body is under."
I tried to move away from him but his grasp was tight and firm. "Please Isabella let me take you back to get some rest."
I paused, my own head swaying. "I am fine. I do not need your help."
"Lies little pup. Please I will not hurt you. I just would like to make sure you do not die on me."
I sighed heavily. As much as I wanted to deny this man I simply knew he was right and I was wrong.
"I have a meeting with Aro. " I told him. "I can not miss that."
"Fine. but I will be the one to walk you to the hall after that I will escort you to your room and make sure you get settled properly."
I didn't argue with him. I agreed and he helped me up doing exactly what he said.
