AN: Adventurer Arc starts now!

Chapter 4

It had been a week and a half since the tournament. In that time she had shown Caulifla how much stronger she'd gotten, and had even shown her sister figure how to become a super sayian. Caulifla had asked about the sayians from universe 7, but she couldn't tell her since she had been knocked out for the rest of the tournament. Her fight against Izuku had been intense. The angel woman told her about what Izuku had done for her and what happened to him. As it turns out he had done more than just heal her.

"Apparently he believed that you deserved all that prize money we were supposed to give you if you won." She said with a smile. "He's giving that and so much more."

After that, they had suddenly found enough treasure to set them for life. Turns out Izuku was royalty or something. Now she was at home trying to figure out what to do. Caulifla wanted to meet those two sayians and she wanted to see Izuku again in order to thank him for what he'd done. If anyone knew how to get to Universe 7 then it would be Vados and Champa. Getting in touch with them was impossible.

"Why is this all so complicated?!" she exclaimed in frustration. Everything was going great for her, but now she couldn't thank the one person who'd helped her.

2 Weeks Later – Universe 7 – Neutral Zone – Conduit Planet

Izuku had been disappointed when he came back from the tournament. Subaru had been sent back to the planet where he'd come from, apparently it was still a little to early for him to be here. As compensation for his mistake, Naruto had fixed Rem for the teen after sending him back.

"Give it about 2 years, then I'll bring him back here." Naruto said. "That planet is going to be destroyed anyway."

The older man would say nothing more of the subject, and told Izuku to let it go.

Izuku was currently riding to Starlight Town, a town located to the north of Empire City and near the ruins of a shinobi village. Some say that the ruins were haunted with the soul of the Mizukage which was more than likely true since Naruto avoided it like the plague. The town itself was home to many magic casters who specialized in magitek and nature preservation, their nature magic was extremely strong apparently.

"A perfect place to take an real break from all the fighting, I mean I like a fun fight as much as the next person, but sometimes I want to sit back and relax." He mused. "Starlight Town is supposed to be one of the most tranquil places on this continent and a great place to settle down in."

He came up to the welcome board and in the distance he saw that the town was more like a small city. Upon entering he felt himself pass through the barrier, it was strong to say the least and extremely thick. He slowed down considerably as to obey the speed limit.

'Isn't there an Adventures Guild here?' he silently asked.

Feral monsters, creatures that followed their instincts and plagued the north. Their presence even caused human corpses to become the undead, and considering how many human corpses were in the ruins of a single shinobi village. Well, the adventurers were very useful, for that and other things.

'Maybe I should try it out myself?' he could see himself as an adventurer. 'I always wondered what a dungeon is like?'

Dungeons were self explanatory, but there was a secret behind their existence. Some came into existence because a certain blonde wanted to keep people strong. Tournaments were another way, but dungeons helped strengthen and create bonds. Something that Naruto valued very much.

Izuku eventually came to his destination. The Adventurers Guild. After parking his bike, he walked inside to see that it was filled with people. It was like something out of a fantasy novel, but with more diversity. Most wielded melee weapons like swords, spears, and axes. Magic staffs, bows, and crossbows were mostly used as long ranged weapons along with certain modern weapons.

There had been a very big incident years back that caused gun to be banned. Usage would result in immediate termination for an entire year or forever if you had previous offenses. They were very strict.

Izuku walked over to the front desk, taking notice of the leveling device that created a magic id for adventurers. They'd started implementing the level system about 2 years back.

'Wonder what my level is?' he went up to the free receptionist with his package in hand. "Excuse me, I have a package for the guild master."

The six armed woman looked down at him and then escorted him to the guild masters office. Upon entering he saw that the room was rather plain with two couches, a table in between them, a few pictures, and the desk where the guild master herself sat at. The guild master was a young girl with a petite frame with rabbit ears and tail. She has short red hair and green eyes. She wears an outfit that is mostly a thin layer of cloth that exposes her belly button with some ornaments. Despite her appearance, she had the aura of someone much older than him.

"Ms. Sylvie, your package has arrived." The receptionist said before leaving.

"That was a lot faster than I expected." The woman said getting up. Her clothes were much more revealing that Izuku thought which prompted him to subtly look away.

'I thought it was just some of the female adventurers in the lobby, but the guild master dresses like this too?' he said. 'Wait, if she's a grasswalker then I guess it's common.'

Grasswalkers were a type of beastmen who had certain animal features, but not a full on transformation, and they could wield magic. The latter was why they didn't have a full on transformation. Conduits were extremely diverse for sure.

"Um, mam, how does someone become an adventurer?"

"Are you thinking about signing up?"

"Yes, I've been curious for a while." He said. "I think I might be cut out for it." He was definitely strong enough, although…

"Don't go beyond your limits again, you aren't invincible and the scars show that." Naruto said. "Just wait until you have another tail."

As it turned out, he'd done more damage to his body than he thought, and he was extremely lucky that he hadn't died during the fight with Kale. Now, he had to be careful. Using One for All was a no go for the time being, so he would use his other powers.

"There's a literary test and the entrance fee." Sylvie said putting her package on her desk. "What's your name kid?"

"Izuku Midoriya." He answered.

"What do you know about job and racial classes?"

"Racial classes are abilities that your born with, but very few have the ability to increase the level." He said. "Job classes can be attained through actions or chosen using the guild, my job class would be deliverer since that's my actual job."

"Good job!" she clapped. "Now, what about the leveling system?"

"It translates the strength information from a persons soul into comprehensible words and numbers, the spell, Appraisal does the same thing, but very few people can use it."

"Your on a roll!"

For the next hour she asked him question after question that he answered correctly, they were easy enough for him. Though he wasn't sure why she was asking.

"Congratulations, Izuku Midoriya you just passed the literary test, with flying colors no less!" Sylvie smiled. "I knew the second you walked through the door, that you were adventurer material!"

"Oh, well thank you."

"Now, just pay the fee and get your id made then you'll officially become an adventurer."

Izuku couldn't help but smile. It looked like he would be able do something that he'd planned on doing for a while now.

1 Week Later – Starlight Town – Adventurers Guild

He'd expected his mother to cry, but the maids not so much. Naruto had broken down at the thought of his precious grandson moving so far away. Hakase had begged him to stay as Nano tried to pry her off of him.

"Please video call from time to time so these guys don't go into depressing." Leone said looking away. It was obvious that she was crying as well.

"Don't worry, I'll keep in contact." He said with a smile before waving goodbye.

Izukus home wasn't small or overly big, it was just the right size for someone like him. After moving in he had gone back to the Adventurers Guild to get his ID which also involved finding out what his level was. It had been very surprising to himself and others.

Izuku stared at the number that had come up on the mirror, as did the guild master and receptionist.

"Please try again."

Izuku took his hand off and waited an entire minute before putting it back. The same result came up.

Izuku Midoriya

Level: 623

Class: Messenger, Yokai Lord, Hero, Inheritor, Pseudo Demon Lord, Half-Breed, Fighter, Almighty Magic Caster, Nation Disaster, Kitsune

"What the hell is up with your level, and those classes." Sylvie stared at the results. "Level 623…how old are you again?" her words caught immediate attention from those around them.

"I'm 17." He answered. 'Before I came here I asked Grandpa about levels and he told me about someone who's a level 2007, her name was…Riful?"

"What the hell?"

"Are you seeing this?"

"It's go to be a mistake, right?"

"Maybe, but if he is that strong then…"

After this he had stayed away for two days, hoping for people to forget about what happened. This wasn't the case as people now had their eyes on him as he looked for a reasonable job. He was a Rank 7, the very bottom since he had only just entered and he could only take jobs that were at said level. This meant that he more than likely wouldn't need to use any of his spells that were 10th Tier to Super Tier. Izuku was thankful for this, he didn't need people not liking him due to jealousy.

"Monster elimination…a minor basilisk has been spotted near the edge of the Forest of Sky Reaching Trees." he read in a low voice. "That's an odd name." he took the paper and went to the receptionist. "I'd like to accept this one."

"The minor basilisk, a party isn't required, but having one is advised." She said.

"Mmm, I think it's best I go alone." He said. 'Having a party will slow me down…wait a second.' He had an idea. "Actually, having a party would be best, safety in numbers after all."

The receptionist let out a sigh of relief.

"So, how do I form a party?"

"Well you can put out an ad or request to join a party." She said. "With your level that should be easy enough." Her gaze went to Izukus staff. It was 6th tier at best, it was common for magic casters to use staffs for better spell channeling; or it was needed at times.

Izuku turned around to see that everyone had gone quiet.

'Shit.' He mentally cursed. "Um, does anyone want to accompany me?" he asked nervously.

The other adventurers began talking amongst each other as if they were like one big hive mind trying to reach an answer. It was obvious that they were skeptical despite his level and classes, they had a right to be though. He had come out of nowhere after all and some had seen him delivering the package last week, they must not have given him a second glance back then. After all, how could a delivery boy have such power?

Nobody came forward so he left to go fight on his own.

3 Hours Later – Forest of Sky Reaching Trees

Finding out where the minor basilisk lair was easy enough. Izuku just had to follow the footprints it left. They were fresh so it had been here a little while ago.

"Wait a second." He could sense magic. "There's a trail in the air, somebody used a flight spell to get away." He followed the trail only this time he was running. "If someone's in trouble then I need to help, hopefully they're still alive." Minutes later the sound of some casting spells caught his attention, it was a female voice and she sounded young.

Upon arriving he saw the girl who was fighting the enraged minor basilisk. She looked to be 13 with long blonde hair, red eyes and prominent fangs. She wore a reddish robe with ripped clothes underneath, showing her injuries. Izuku could tell that she was a vampire by her smell.

"Arcane Bolt!"

From his staff came a lightning like bolt of magic that hit the monster in the face. This caused it to reel back in pain.

"Air Cutter!"

Multiple blades made of air cut through the beasts flesh with ease. If one were to take a closer look they would notice that Izukus casting time was like that of a normal magic caster. The reason for this was because he had altered the way his Almighty Magic worked. In exchange for power it made his casting time a bit longer, and he lost access to a great many types of magic via Almighty Magic. This didn't pose a problem to him as he retained Spell Creation, which used in tandem with his Creation powers allowed his to use magic that he'd supposedly lost access to.

"Hey you!" he called out to the vampire girl. "Get out of here!" he exclaimed before dodging spikes that the minor basilisk had launched at him. "I just need to take back your head." He stated.

The teen flew downwards towards his target. The promoted it to charge at him as well.

"Teleport!"

He was now under the creature.

"Crystal Graveyard"

From the ground came hundreds of sharp green and blue crystals that tore into the minor basilisk, killing it instantly. One more came up and cleanly severed the head.

"Item Box."

A green portal opened under the head and it was stored in a closed space that would keep it preserved. A useful spell that he would have need for in the future.

"Holy shit." The vampire girl said in amazement. "Thanks."

Upon getting closer she was able to get a good look at the man who saved her. Needless to say he was unique looking for sure with his hair color, but he was handsome and cute at the same time. Then there was his presence, it made her feel safe yet inspired. Needless to say she had just fallen for him.
