Chapter 8/ Training for Universe 9 Tournament

"Let's see. Senzu beans, check. Gi, check. Multiverse Teleporter, check. Watch, check."

I was going through my bag that was packed in my apartment. It contained everything that would be needed for a couple days. There wasn't much that was needed to fit my needs so I was carrying light.

My body was still slightly soaked after getting out of my shower. Light barely shined in the sky, indicating that it was still twilight hours. Birds were chirping and a breeze was coming from my balcony.

After finishing my check list on my bag, the watch on my wrist pinged. Tokoyami had sent me a text.

Tokoyami: On west st, building?

My hand starts typing on my wrist as a response is made.

Leo: 2 story wth dumpster in park lot. Room #46

After sending the text my hand reaches for my bag and slings it over my shoulder. A few minutes pass before a knock is heard on my door.

Opening it, Tokoyami is on the other side with a suitcase behind him. "Ah good, I was under the impression that finding this place would take longer."

"Yeah well, this is the only apartment that is currently being occupied right now. The others are just bought for people who want a quiet place to stay."

Motioning him inside, he walks in and turns to me. "So do you know why Hop wants the two of us. If it is going to take two whole days it may be in our best interest to know about why we are leaving."

I can only shrug. Hop had informed me more on what to bring when we met her. She didn't say what we were doing but it seemed like she wanted the two of us for it. Luna had been told not to tell us and she would already be dropped off by Chris in Universe 500.9. Apparently though she had a limited role on what would be going but was going to watch nonetheless.

Tokoyami signed. "My parents were very concerned about me leaving the house for a couple days. Especially after the villain attack."

Ever since the villain attack the media had started targeting UA. Some said that with All Might now teaching there the students were at risk. Of course many praised the students for fighting back against the threat. 1-A had become the center of attention throughout the media. If the school hadn't given the students a day off after the incident then they would have been swarmed by reporters today. Fortunately, that would have to wait until Monday.

My hand reaches into my pocket and pulls out the Multiverse Teleporter. "You ready?" He swallows and then nods. Tokoyami had experienced multiverse travel one time before, but even for someone like me people tended to get sick when they traveled through.

A portal opens and before he could get kicked through like last time, Tokoyami leaps in. A smug grin crosses my face as I follow.

Hop is waiting for us when we arrive. Sipping water out of a black container. When Tokoyami lands he immediately rushes for the restroom. A gurgitating noise is heard shortly after. For me, I bend over and grab my knees. My vision is blurry and eventually it starts to focus.

"Wow, you two look like shit. Bartender!" Hop yelled. The rhino man, who I was later informed was named Ridge, slid two glasses over to her. She grabs them both and hands one to me and the other to Tokoyami as he is leaving the restroom."Drink this. It tastes like shit but it helps with nausiness, also it would help your breath. Sidra knows your breath reeks."

We both reluctantly drink the horrible liquid. It tastes like spoiled milk mixed with vinegar. Tokoyami gags but it appears the drink actually works and prevents us from getting sick. Once we are finished, Hop leads us to the bar and sets us down.

"Thank you for that." Tokoyami stated. His face still grimaced from the taste of the drink. Ridge slid another glass next to the bird headed boy. He looked at it and slowly brought it to his beak. Then after taking a sip, he realized it actually tasted amazing and he gulped the whole thing down.

After a few minutes of me and Tokoyami adjusting, Hop begins to speak. "So you two are probably wondering why I brought you here today." She puts her feet up on another stool, much to the objections of Ridge.

"It crossed our minds. But we got nothing better to do. Right Tokoyami?" He agrees and hands his empty cup to the rhino. "Besides, it benefits us when we work with you so what do you need?"

Hop points behind us and me and Tokoyami turn to see a poster. It read:

Universe 9's Galactic tournament

Teams of three with the final prize being the strongest in Universe 9.

Occurs 32 galas after the Omit.

"A tournament? That is your reason for calling us?" Tokoyami seemed just as surprised as I was. He then turned to me. "Doesn't she know people who are way stronger than us? Why would she want us to fight by her side when we couldn't touch her in that spar."

"Because you two are the only ones left." Hop interrupted. "The other members of Universe 9 either are already attending or not attending at all and quite frankly I don't get along with many people and you guys are the last resort."

"Well it's pretty reassuring that we are the last option and that other members of the Universe 9 roster would be attending. I mean it's not like they can't destroy planets right.'' My sarcasm was extreme but Tokoyami looked as if he had no idea because the idea of beings that could destroy planets is just absurd.

"Hey, you guys want to get stronger. Not many opportunities like this were you get to challenge the best of the best and not die." She finished her water and Ridge came and grabbed it. "So are you two in or are you going to chicken out."

Tokoyami and I look at each other. We had already packed enough materials for a small trip. It would be a waste to pass this up. Besides, the villain attack showed that we would be encountering stronger foes in the near future. If we are to stand up to what's coming then this could be our first step of many.

"We'll join"

Hop then turned behind us and yelled. "Told you it wouldn't take much convincing!"

"I would have put money on Leo being a little bit harder to convince. Guess that attack really shook him up." Luna comes up behind us and Tokoyami does a double take.

"You weren't kidding! Excluding gender, the bands, and age, you two are practically identical!" He then rubbed his eyes to see if he was seeing things right. I get up and give a hug to Luna.

"It is so good to see you again, sis. Have you gotten taller? I feel like you've gotten taller."

"Ha...ha. You are one to talk. I'm pretty sure you are shorter than the average guy your age." We break off the hug.

I put a hand to my heart and gave a shocked expression. "I'm offended."

Tokoyami then stood up and walked up to Luna. He gives a slight bow. "Hello, young Luna. It is a pleasure to finally meet you face to face. Dark Shadow would agree." Said shadow popped out of Tokoyami's jacket and tried to get some pets out of Luna who happily gave.

"It's nice to meet you too, Tokoyami. You too, Dark Shadow." The shadow gave a peace sign before retreating back into his host's body.

"Now that everybody is here, let's go and head to planet Zu. That's the planet that this tournament is supposed to be held on. We have about 48 hours Earth time until it starts so we can book a place to stay and train in one of the gyms until it starts." Hop then pounced up and made her way to the door, trailed by Luna.

As me and Tokoyami grab our stuff he comments. "Do you think we can win?"

"If what she says is true, then no. This whole tournament may be just a way to have some fun for her. Let's use it to our advantage." I then head to the door. He gives it a second to think then runs to catch up.

"This appears to be the place."

The small group was standing in a circular room with a dome surrounding the area. Said dome was black but had a few windows that looked over a bright city. The sky was black with it being night so the only light was from the stars outside or the few ceiling lights. In the center of the room was a twenty by twenty meter training arena. It was surrounded by a glowing blue box that appeared to keep any fighting inside. On the left and right side, there were two doors on each end. Those must have been the sleeping areas.

When we had introduced ourselves to the staff as one of the participating teams, the staff had given us this room to fit our needs before the event. With there being only one extra they were easily able to find us a room.

"Leo. Tokoyami." Hop gets our attention. "We will train all of tomorrow. Until then, get some rest. You're going to need it." She then grabbed her stuff and went into the nearest room and shut the door behind her.

"I'm going to do the same." Luna stated. "I'll see you guys tomorrow. Try not to let the bedbugs bite." She then went to her room, pulling a suitcase behind her.

Once she leaves, I turn to Tokoyami. "Although Hop is asleep we could get a small amount of training in before we inevitably get squashed by her tomorrow. You in?"

He put a hand to his beak and started thinking. Then responded "As long as we have time to properly rest, I have no problem with it. Let's go."

We put our luggage in the other two rooms then returned to the center. I pressed a button which shuts off the barrier so we could get through. He puts on a cloak that he packed and gets into a battle position.

My eyebrows raise. "Why did you bring a cloak with you? It doesn't help much with combat and it could even slow you down."

He furrowed his brow. "I have my reasons. Let us begin."

The blue barrier spins down around us, blocking anything from getting through, including sound. My hands go flat and spin in the air, collecting some wind so I could use the Whirling Wind martial art. Dark Shadow appears from underneath Tokoyami's cape and dashes towards me.

My feet push off the ground, forcing me into the air. The shadow strikes where I once was and then looks up at my position. Ki ignites around my body and launches me at Tokoyami.

I pull my hand back into knife hands as my eyes target the weak spots across his body. The rib cage, the neck, and the shoulder blades. They should knock him down once hit with a concentrated force.

My hands shoot forward, reinforced by the air pressure around them, only to be stopped by a shifting shadow that shielded its master. Dark Shadow swiped at me and threw me towards the wall. I twist in midair and land my feet on the side of the arena.

Dark Shadow seems to grow and its eyes start to go slightly red. This confuses me and my guard is let down, which Dark Shadow capitalizes and slams into me.

I was not prepared for a sudden increase in strength and i'm pushed against the wall. Tokoyami rushes forward and tries to punch me while my arms are pinned by his ally.

But before the attack could land, ki burst out of my body. My full strength unleashed with it in a blinding light. I then focused on Tokoyami but then was taken aback by what I was seeing.

Dark Shadow had been shrunk down to the size of Tokoyami, unlike the mighty behemoth that had pinned me earlier. His eyes were back to being yellow and tears flowed down them. The increased power level that radiated off of the creature had been greatly reduced.

Tokoyami glanced at Dark Shadow before he yelled and charged me again, fist held back. However, with speed he couldn't comprehend, I flew past him and grabbed his outstretched fist. Then my leg sweeps under him and he falls to the ground. My legs then wrap around his arm and he gets shoved into an arm lock.

After a minute of being in the submission hold he slaps the ground, indicating that he surrendered. Dark Shadow, who had watched his host get pinned, retreated into the cloak.

Once I'm on my feet, my hand reaches out to help Tokoyami up. He gladly accepts and is then pulled onto his feet.

"You nearly got that punch in but Dark Shadow lost all of his strength. If he didn't let go you might have won. What happened?"

The bird headed boy looked down. "I didn't want anybody to know. I figured if word got out then the others would look down at me for such a weakness."

It took me a moment for it to click. The cloak, the liking of darkness, Dark Shadows diminished power. It actually made sense.

"Light drains Dark Shadow's power?"

He took a breath before looking at me. His eyes expressed worry. "When it is dark, Dark Shadow absurd the darkness and gains will of his own and starts to act on his own desires, but he grows immensely powerful. However in the light…" he moves out of the arena and towards a floating lamp. He grabs it and moves it towards the shadow hidden under his cloak. It squawks and gets smaller. "...he gets weaker but is more docile and responds to orders easier."

"Please, don't tell the other students at UA. They have been kind to me, unlike classmates in my previous classes who took advantage of my weakness and my weak body. I wanted to prove that someone with a weakness like mine could be strong, but it won't happen if they discover how weak I am."

My hand lands on his shoulder. He looks back and sees a smile on my face. "Tokoyami, the first step anybody should take when getting strong is to accept the fact that they are weak. Yeah, you are weak..."

His facial expression turns into one of pain as he closes his eyes.

"...and so am I"

One of his eyes popped open.

"...and so is Hop..."

Both eyes pop open and he looks towards Hop's room to see if she heard that.

"...but we are all strong in our own way. You telling me about this will allow me to help you overcome your weakness. So what do you say we work on that tomorrow?"

Tokoyami looks at me with surprise. Never has anybody done this for him. Many had laughed at him, some had said to be better, but none had said they would help him. He clenches his fist and nods.

"Good. Let's get some sleep. Hop is going to kick our asses tomorrow."

I start making my way to my room but Tokoyami calls out to me. When my eyes land on him he has a shy smile on his beak.

"Thank you, for not mocking me. You are a good friend and I hope we can grow stronger together." He raises a fist.

I look at him for a second before a slight grin crosses my face as well. Moving across the room and returning the fist bump we officially confirm that we are great friends.

We then make our way to our rooms but unannounced to anybody, a feline girl lets a smile creep across her face as she listens to the confrontation.

'You don't give yourself enough credit, Leo. That's now two people who have locked themselves off from others that you have befriended. Tokoyami...and me.' She then lets sleep overcome her.

Tokoyami lays down in his bed and thinks about the future. Maybe one day he could live to the standards that overs have placed on him. Leo has definitely become a person that is quickly changing his future for the better. He drifts off knowing that the future would possess many surprises for the bird headed hero in training.

I enter my room and clothes beam a sleeping bag. My hand moves to a switch that shuts the door behind me and prevents any sound from being heard. I set my watch to alarm mode. My body goes underneath the bag and Neo appears and curls up next to me. My breath slows as I prepare for what happens next.

I fall asleep into a nightmare with pain that never seems to end.

My back is against a wall as I stare at a blazing inferno. Red flames lick the rubble in front of me as a figure emerges from the fire.

The familiar appearance of a wolf appears before me. Daemon has a sneer on his snout as he continues to make his way to me. His eyes are like those of a predator. Not a predator that hunts for food, but of one that hunts for the thrill.

"No matter how far you run. No matter what allies you accumulate…"

My hands come together and a yellow light forms into a ball in front of me. It starts to grow as my power constricts through it. I then yell "Final Flash!".

A mighty beam of energy shoots forward and consumes the beast in a light. The flames behind him are extinguished as a shockwave causes a wind to blow away all the oxygen. I'm left standing there with my arms outstretched looking at the cloud of ash in front of me.

Suddenly, chains come out of the wall behind me and grab my arms. They seem to pull my body against the brick as more chains come around my waist and legs. My body was completely pinned and they didn't seem to budge.

"...there is one thing you can never ignore…"

Daemon walks out of the cloud of ash and he begins to glow. A shockwave erupts out of him igniting anything it touches. The flames that were put out had reignited and seemed to be even stronger this time. When the wave hit me it burned my skin and burned off my eyelids, which had been closed before the attack could hit me.

With blood flowing down my face and covering my eyes a force caused the blood to stop and leak around my eyes. This gave me a good look at the demon directly in front of me. He pulled his paw back and he slashed my chest open.

I scream in pain but before my head could lunge forward more chains come out of the wall and wrap around my neck, pulling my head back against it with a sickening crunch.

"...you will always be weak. You will always be defenseless. You will never live in peace."

The chains that were holding me began violently rotating. The burning metal tore off a flesh that it rubbed against and eventually it just looked like a rope instead of a chain at the speed it was moving. I suddenly couldn't breathe because the chain around my neck had produced so much friction that it started to burn my flesh to ash. Eventually the other chains did the same.

Daemon started laughing as he pulled his paws back and started slashing at my chest. Endless waves of pain crossed through my body as each slash seemed to grow ever more painful.

He eventually stopped and held his paw against my chest. I realize what he is about to do and my mouth moves in an attempt to beg for him to stop.

He laughs. "You pathetic runt. Live in hell."

He then fires a mighty beam through my chest.

My body shoots up and fists start swinging. Sweat is pouring down my body as a panic attack sets in. I grab my head with both hands and try to breathe as calmly as possible. Neo is beside me in a second and tries to comfort me. Like always, after a few minutes my heartbeat returns to normal and so does my breathing.

Falling back down onto the sleeping bag, I let loose a groan. Can't my morning routine not have a panic attack?

The alarm on the watch goes off but it is immediately shut off. Getting up and heading to the door, my hand reaches for the switch to open it. My eyes greet me with Tokoyami being tossed into the side barrier of the small arena. Dark Shadow is hovering over him but does nothing as Hop lands on top of the bird headed boy.

"You need to hit the gym kid. There is no muscle on your arms and your fighting style is sluggish. Leo is going to have a tough time getting you into shape." Hop comments. Dark Shadow looks like he is watching a movie. He had moved to the sidelines to get petted by Luna, who was sitting in a chair spectating the fight.

"What is going on here?" My confusion is met with two extended claws going underneath my elbows and raising me up in the air. I yelp as my body slides down and gets slightly cut in the process until my eyes are directly in front of Hop's.

"You are in this too. Tokoyami may have an excuse for the lack of muscle but you have no excuse for tiring out so quickly during your fight at the UWG."

"USJ" Tokoyami moans while under her foot.

"Whatever! Now let's start training before I…" she stops and her facial expression turns into one of confusion. She looks around before her eyes fall on me again. Her nostril flares slightly before I fall to the ground, having been let go. She returns to the angry Hop I know but deep in her eyes, you can see she noticed something that went underneath my radar.

"Before I send you to a healing pod!"

The feline starts jumping across the arena, many attacks landing on both me and Tokoyami. He jumps to the side as a foot indent is placed where he once was. "She heard our conversation last night! Dark Shadow is supposed to stay out of the fight as my body is broken down so it could grow stronger!"

"Oh, that makes sense! What doesn't is how she expects us to do anything against her when she is hundreds of thousands of times stronger than us!"

"Simple" Hop slams us both into the ground at once. We both are nearly knocked unconscious. "Tokoyami is going to meditate after our spar so that he could be able to mentally gain control of Dark Shadow. Leo, you are going to concentrate on improving your ki abilities while I break you apart so you can improve 'that technique'. As for me, I'll try my best to keep my maximum speed up for as long as possible to extend my stamina."

Tokoyami did as he was told and went to the corner. He sat down with his legs crossed and closed his eyes. I yell at him. "And try to get a hold of some life energy while you concentrate. Feel free to ask me questions while Hop is beating the shit out of me."

When the last word left my mouth, a fist caught me in the jaw and threw me against the barrier. And thus the day begun, we spent hours training while Luna watched or slept. Tokoyami had several questions on how to manifest his life energy and the best answer that we could give him was to spend time concentrating until he could get a hold of it. The ki would be available once his fear of Dark Shadow going crazy was gone, or at least diminished enough for him to concentrate.

Hop was actually breaking a sweat with how much effort she was putting into tossing me around. The average eye couldn't see her and even I struggled to do so. A force hit me in the back and my body slammed into the barrier.

Whenever me and Hop spar it was so that she could get some stress relief while I tried to learn how to fight non-human combatants. This didn't appear to be like the others because she was fully concentrated on improving herself for once and the power difference that was always there was made abundantly clear.

My body sparks with a sudden burst of power and my instincts kick into overdrive. I could almost see were she would be next because in this moment my body had finally distinguished her fighting style.

When a sudden burst of pressure brushes past my face in front of me, I swing my leg behind me and use a small energy ball on my toes to propel my foot faster towards my target.

BOOM!

Silence fills the room and both Tokoyami and Luna stop at what they were doing to try to figure out what the booming noise was. He looked around in confusion and then realized that the fighting in the middle had stopped. When he turned to the arena his eyes widened.

My leg had forced itself straight into Hop's stomach and a small amout of dust had risen across the room from the impact. She must have traveled full speed into the kick and her face showed that she was winded. Her eyes were filled with surprise as she struggled to comprehend what had happened.

As for me the attack had its own side effects. Kicking Hop was the equivalent of a baby punching a slab of concrete and the boom made from the impact had covered up the sound of my leg cracking.

Soon enough, my leg retracted and I fell to the ground gripping my foot. I yelp as my hand touches the part that is clearly broken. The bone did not penetrate the skin but it was clear that it would require some medical attention.

"The one time I hit you is when you are trying your hardest and I receive more damage than you. Hehe, there is nothing else that I should expect. Gaah!" I yelp when the pain is amplified in my leg whenever the adrenaline stops pumping. Tokoyami rushes over and checks on me.

"It looks like a minor fracture and with the right medication should heal in a couple hours. Unless you use one of those senzu beans, in which case we should be able to get you up in a minute. Let me go get them." He gets up and walks to a nearby table where the senzu beans were.

I turned to Hop who hadn't moved since the impact and her expression had not changed. "Are you okay? You look more freaked out then me and considering it's you that doesn't really happen."

She whipped her head around and then looked at me with a sneer. A cold presence washed over me as I realized that maybe this was a wrong choice.

"Luna" my sister looked over at Hop. She shivered when she saw Hop's eyes. They were now filled with a homicidal tendency. "Could you please head to your room for a while. I need to... increase Leo's 'training'."

Luna seemed to get the idea and quickly made her way to her room. She wasn't stupid enough to stay and see the absolute destruction of her brother. Hopefully Hop would keep him in one piece.

Tokoyami threw me a senzu bean and I immediately took it. All my strength would be needed to survive this.

The bird headed teen's stomach growled. He put a hand on his stomach and realized he hadn't eaten anything since yesterday. Tokoyami looked at the exit and made his way there. Once he had closed the door behind him a loud ruckus was heard on the other side.

Leo would be having a tough time today.

Dark Shadow peeped out of his cloak and looked around. Tokoyami let a small smile creep across his beak. He was happy that Leo and Hop had decided to help him get better control of his quirk. His entire life, people had always looked at him differently. The bird headed kid with a powerful quirk he couldn't control but had a horrible weakness. Might as well not have a quirk at all. He was so happy whenever UA had accepted him that he wouldn't stop smiling for a week.

In the short time he had been training, he could already feel his will growing as Dark Shadow became more tame the more he meditated. He wondered what would happen if he could access his life energy like Leo and Hop do. Maybe Dark Shadow could help him become one of the greatest heroes to ever exist.

Until then he had to get through this tournament and Tokoyami felt confident that he could learn a thing or two from it.

Back in the training arena, Hop was kicking my ass. Cuts and bruises covered my body and my legs could barely hold my body weight. Her previous attacks looked like nothing compared to what was happening now. Her movement was no longer identifiable through pressure because her onslaught of attacks never seemed to end.

I send out a random ki blast but she grabs my extended arm and proceeds to pop it out of its socket. Before my body could process the pain, she kicked my over shoulder blade and popped the other socket. My ki launches me into the air as I try to fly away but she jumps up and delivers a powerful uppercut to my jaw.

I'm sent rocketing up to the top of the arena where my body bounces off the roof before impeding itself into the concrete down below. Pain envelopes my body as my legs kick up in an attempt to launch myself to my feet. But my momentum upwards is stopped when her feet land straight on my chest. I'm shoved into the concrete even more and my body refuses to move.

Hop places her knees on my stomach and starts slashing her claws across my chest. Her eyes, having changed multiple times in the past couple of minutes, now showed fury as she continued to attack my chest. None of her attacks were stabs so my organs were safe but they still hurt like hell.

"Don't get cocky! Don't ever get cocky! You are still weak! I am strong! I am not the same pathetic kid I used to be! I AM STRONG!"

Her words land on death ears as my mind doesn't take in Hop attacking me. It takes in my nightmare sequence when Daemon was torturing me.

Daemon

My body, which was already struggling, started to freeze up. My mind was consumed by fear and I started to breathe even heavier. The only problem was that it was already struggling to get air because of my wounds and it wasn't getting enough of it. I could do nothing as my body entered another panic attack.

Neo recognized what was going on but he knew that he couldn't mentally talk Leo out of this attack. He was in no situation to calm down and Hop was apparently losing it. He had to find a way to calm Hop down without touching her.

An idea came to his mind. It was a long shot but it might work.

Neo flew behind Hop and started blowing on her neck. He could only hope that air wasn't restricted to just Leo.

The feline felt an unusual sensation on her neck and she stopped to grab it to see what was there. She turned behind her and saw nothing.

"Huh, what was that?" She shook her head. Why did she always lose control whenever she was struck? Thankfully, Leo could take the punishment when it happened. Which rarely happened.

"Sorry about that. Just a an old habbi…" Her sentence was cut sort when she turned back to Leo. His eyes were rolled up behind his eyelids and he was breathing extremely hard. The gashes on his chest were not too bad but for whatever reason his dislocated hand was forced up by ki to land on his chest where it now covered up an exposed scar.

"Oh my god, Leo!" She jumped off of him and checked for a pulse on his neck. When one was found she only had a temporary relief until she recoginzed a smell that her race was able to detect. Hop had sensed it earlier but brushed it off. Now she knew what it was.

Leo was having a panic attack.

She pulled him into a sitting position and patted his back. "Breath, Breath." She attempted to calm him down. She then looked at him in the eye before his slack arm fell to his waist. This gave Hop a good view of the scar he was trying to hide.

Her hand went to her mouth. "Leo. What happened to you?"

The flesh underneath his gi had so many scars that it looked almost like it was burnt. The biggest one looked like it had spread across his chest and in the middle it showed a slight remnant of what once used to be a whole. His whole chest was red and black from the scars.

"Please…" I managed to whisper. Hop moves closer and her ears perk up. "...don't tell anyone." Then he slumped forward. She catches him and drags him to his room.

When she gets inside she places him on his bed. She extends her hand and one of her claws zip out of the room before she wills it to retract. In the end, the bag of senzu beans follows having been speared through by her claw.

She opens the back and places one of the beans on Leo's lips. He swallows it and the wounds caused by their fight immediately heal. However, I stay on the bed and look at the sky. My mind is still recovering from the panic attack.

"You care to explain what that was about." I could hear Hop to my left and with the tilt of the mattress it comes to my concussion that she is sitting on the bed next to me.

"Can we have this conversation later." My body is still shaking. The bed shifts as she gets up and I hear her walk to the door. But before she leaves she turns to me.

"I think it's time we tell each other our past soon. With what I just did you deserve to know, and I kind of want to know the full story as to why you keep having panic attacks. I wont tell anybody but…maybe we could work on it if you would tell me."

I could hear the door close and the last thing that my ears detect is Hop saying words that I never thought would come out of her mouth.

"I'm sorry"

Then my body slips into unconsciousness. Entering my realm of nightmares again.

A new ark? Why? Well for one its character development between Hop and Leo. My story is going to greatly involve them and this was the best way to do so. Two, Tokoyami is going to need some experience for what comes next and putting him in an extra ark seemed like a good idea. Until next time.
