Summary- Rose and Dimitri have two daughters, who are being raised by Adrian and Sydney Ivashkov alongside Declan and their own son Oscar, to keep them safe, no body knows about their children. Not until a certain event which happens to the children in school, the children then run away from the academy. This story is from many different peoples POV, hopefully it won't be confusing.
This is my first ever storyso I apologiseif it not the best I am trying my best. I am also not the best with spelling so please forgive me.
ROSE POV-
I rolled around in bed, feeling and touching for Dimitri. The space next to me was empty and I groaned as I remembered he has an early shift today so he would have already left. I didn't want to wake up yet, rolling over to get more comfortable I felt a sudden rush of nausea rush through me, running to the bathroom I made it just in time to throw up in the toilet. That's it I am not going to be able to fall back to sleep, this isn't the first time I've been sick just after waking up it's happened a few times over the last few weeks. My mind drifted to Declan, a baby, a impossible baby.
Declan's parents are both dhampirs, that should be impossible. Centuries ago moroi and humans mingled and dhampirs were born. Through some genetic fault, dhampirs can't breed with other dhampirs and hasn't been able to for generations. Moroi and dhampirs sure, human and dhampirs sure but dhampirs and dhampirs no. Not until Olive and Neil, Olive was a ex-Strigoi dhampir and due to genetics unknown she was able to conceive a baby with another dhampir. Not a lot of people know about Declan's true parents only a select few and we are sworn to secrecy for Declan's safety. Due to the strange situation with his parents we fear, if the world knew he, would be tested on. That's why Neil left his son to be taken care of by Adrian and Sydney Ivashkov claiming him to be theirs. Adrian is a moroi who fell in love with Sydney a human, a ex-alchemist, they had a hard time with the alchemists due to that but I won't go into that now. So according to the world Declan's last name is Ivashkov, even to my best friend, Adrian and Sydney's friend Queen Vasilisa Dragomir.
I knew what was happening to me and it's a miracle and a worry at the same time. It was amazing that I could have a child of my own with my husband however no body can know that this child was ours. I knew I had to escape court and go to Adrian and Sydney's but being the queens guardian it isn't easy for me to just leave.
A few hours later Dimitri came home and I knew we had to discuss this. "Dimitri can you come sit down please"
Dimitri POV-
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I was going to have everything I ever wanted, that I ever dreamt about. I knew that my love for Rose was unimaginable but hearing that she was pregnant with my child just made me love her even more. I couldn't be happier that was until I realised the hidden truth, no body could ever know about our child we couldn't raise him or her ourselves if people knew, our child would never be safe, they will be tested and prodded, the impossible is possible but not understood by science and no body likes it when something is misunderstood I knew and felt peoples stress, worries and fears when I was turned back from being strigoi I was tested and prodded and questioned and I would be damned if I let my baby go through that. I felt anger at the fact that I would never be able to see my child grow.
Rose being rose sensed what I was feeling and knew why. "What are we going to do, we could run?"
"No we couldn't, people know us too well, it wouldn't be kept secret" I stated as if she should know already.
"There's only one thing we could do and you know it" she would have to leave me when she starts showing, going to Sydney's and Adrians. They would have to raise our child as their own if they would/could and I would never be able to meet my own child. Never be able to hold or rock to sleep, never be able to calm or love my own child. I wouldn't be able to see him or her grow, I would miss their first foot steps, first words, first day of school and all the rest of their firsts. It was a very upsetting thought but I knew doing this would make sure they were safe.
Adrain and Sydney accepted gratefully the trust we placed in them to raise our child. They knew it wasn't easy on us. They had planned that Sydney and Rose would not leave the house until after the baby is born once Rose starts showing so it would make sense that our baby is Sydney's. Sydney was giving up her freedom to protect our child and I would never be able to make up for what they are both doing for us especially Sydney. The only problem was queen Vasilisa Dragomir, she could not know due to her title, something like this must be made public knowledge. She would be suspicious of me and Rose, she will know somethings afoot and even more suspicious when Rose and Eddie Castile switch places as guardians, Eddie protecting the queen whilst Rose go to 'protect' Adrian and Sydney. Luckily they didn't need much protection due to Sydney's witch abilities and Adrians spirt abilities, if it wasn't for them and the fact that our child is in danger I would never let Rose leave my sight but I knew she would be protected I trusted them.
About two months later Rose was showing but doing an amazing job at keeping it hidden, the day she left was very upsetting because I knew once I next see her, we would have a child in this world who I might never meet. Lissa tired giving Rose a hug, Rose hugged her making sure Lissa couldn't feel the hard lump growing in her stomach. I hated seeing her leave, I hated knowing she was going to have this baby without me but knew she had to go for the safety of our child.
Rose POV-
Leaving Dimitri wasn't easy but I knew I had harder things to get through before seeing him again including giving birth and leaving my baby with my friends with the possibly of never seeing him or her again.
When I arrived at Adrians and Sydney's they welcomed me with opened arms and did everything in there power to make me feel comfortable and safe. They set me up with a human nurse who would come to the house to do the treatments, Adrian then using compulsion to make her believe it was Sydney pregnant and not me, just in case. I spent the rest of my pregnancy, five whole months, staying inside I tired my absolute best to help as much as I could but it seemed I needed Sydney's help more then she needed mine. I ended up giving birth exactly 14 days early which meant she was a year and a week younger then Declan's false birthday. I didn't want to find out the sex without Dimitri by my side when finding out, so I never found out until I gave birth. I was in labour for 14 hours in my bedroom, Adrian was a complete and utter mess which would be amusing if I wasn't in so much pain, be tired his best to take away my pain within reason. Finally giving birth I was told I had a beautiful little girl, I got to hold her and I knew what to name her the second I held her, Skylar Willow Belikov, well Skylar Willow Ivashkov to the rest of the world. After I healed and was able to move again, I left. It was heartless to leave my baby the day I gave birth but it would be better this way. I thanked Sydney and Adrian for everything they have done and everything they will do for my little angel and left. Eddie returned to his duty and I went back to protecting Lissa.
A year and a month later Sydney and Adrian had a baby they called Oscar Roy Ivashkov. Four months after having their baby they welcomed me again being pregnant again, this time I found out the sex and left Dimitri to name her, he chose Amelia Clara Belikov well Ivashkov to the rest of the world because they were still unsafe. During my pregnancy I got to see skylar and spend some mother, daughter time, well as much as I could without leaving the house. Amelia is 7 months younger then Oscar. Whilst I was there, during my pregnancy Declan started showing signs that wasn't normal for dhampirs, that being his teeth growing, he grew fangs. Our daughters were being raised in a loving environment and knew the truth, that was what was important. Once they reached the age of three both of our girls grew fangs as well, Declan was showing other things as well, such as the ability of compulsion which normal dhampirs shouldn't be able to do. All four of them were raised knowing they were special and it was important for them to keep themselves a secret from the outside world. Once in a while me and Dimitri got to FaceTime our angels but we were unable to visit them. It wasn't easy watching them grow up without us but we knew we were doing the right thing.
