Author's Note: Thanks to those who have commented, follow, and favorite the story. Sorry for the long wait time. It's been a really rough week. Raining on all week where I live which doesn't help my depression. Something that I forgot to add in to the A/N in chapter 1 was the year the story is based in. The story year is in 2017 no month, just 2017. Lastly this chapter was not the way I thought it was going to go like, but hey it works. I think. You tell me. Sorry if it's not what you thought it would be. I guess you could say you can control the muse, but sometimes the muse controls you. Thanks.

Looking at the phone and not recognizing the number, Liv chooses to ignore it because things have been crazy since putting away Rob Miller. After finishing up some more paperwork, it was close to midnight by the time Olivia got home. Taking off her coat and hanging it in the coat closet. Liv drops her keys in the key dish and purse on the table by the door. Entering her room, Liv removes her clothes and changes into her pajamas. Settling into bed, Liv can't help, but think about that text from the unknown number. However, Liv decides to go to sleep rather than staying up even later and falls asleep at around 12:45 am. 3 hours went by when Liv shifted awake hearing what she thought were rustling in the distance. A few minutes go by and Liv brushes it off, thinking that she's just imagining things. When the sound gets closer and louder. Turning on her back, now more awake, Liv stares at her bedroom door. Mere seconds go by when the door creaks open. Olivia tries to get her eyes adjusted to the darkness. It was futile since she was still waking up. When the door opens up more fully, standing at the door is a man with no face and something in his hand. The object that is in his hand is obscured by the darkness. Benson tries to reach for her gun, but feeling around to her bedside table for her weapon, she can't find it. Turning her head to the direction of where the table should be, sees that it is gone. Terrified, Liv turns to look at the intruder to find that it's Lewis. I try to scream, but he covers his hand over my mouth and raises the unknown weapon which is her own gun. Before Liv knows what's happening the gun goes off and she is jolted from her nightmare. Looking around, frightened by how real it felt and double checking that her gun was still secure. Liv settles back into bed to try and get a few more hours of sleep. It was some hours later at 7 am when I woke up from my alarm. Since it was Sunday and Liv had the day off, chose to sleep in late. Olivia was able to get an extra hour and a half of sleep before having to wake up so she can pick up her boys from the Stabler's. After doing her morning routine in the bathroom, Liv grabs a pair of dark wash jeans, a white blouse and donning her favorite black leather jacket. Benson double checks her minimal makeup in the mirror, before zipping up the short black boots that she got for her birthday. Grabbing her keys and purse, Liv exits her apartment. It was about a 30 minute drive to Queens, which was actually shorter than usual since it's taken her in the past over 50 minutes. Arriving at the Stabler residence and knocking on the door. Olivia's thoughts went back to the unknown text that she got last night and realized that she completely forgot that she gave that detective her number. Before she could think any further into it, the door opened to reveal one Kathleen Stabler. "Hey Liv." She smiles at her and steps back to let her in. "Morning Kathleen. How's high school?" After Kathleen lets her in and closes the door, she proceeds to let out a over dramatic grown and replies, "Torture." Olivia chuckles at her answer. "Well you only have one more year to go." Kathleen rolls her eyes and looks at Liv, commenting, "Oh thanks Liv that makes it so much better." Olivia laughs at her comment and is about to reply when the sound of pounding footsteps down the stairs. Glancing at the staircase the two women see the other Stabler children, along with her boys running into the living room area. The Benson boys didn't notice their mother right away since they were racing the twins to the back yard. It wasn't until Kathy Stabler warned them to stop running in the house and then told them to say hi to their mom. Cal and Noah turned to the couch and shouted, "MOM!!!!! MOMMY!!!!!" The two boys run to Liv and jump onto her lap, hugging her. Wrapping her arms around them, "So did you guys have a good time at the Stabler's?" "Yeah we played video games and watched tv and played football and..." Liv tried to stay listening, but it was becoming difficult. Nonetheless, she made sure to stay attentive to her sons. Before Liv knew it, the trio had said bye to Elliot and Kathy. While her sons weren't thrilled at having to leave, thanked them for staying over and Liv promised to return the favor. Since it was late when they arrived at the apartment, it only took 15 or so minutes to get home. After unbuckling Noah and Calvin from their car seats. It's rare for a child at age 12 to need a car seat, but with Cal's past he was very thin for 12 years old and was not at the height he should be. So he needs a car seat, at least until he turns 13. Once inside the apartment, Liv tells the boys to go get ready for bed since it's way past their bedtime. Before Liv turned to finish taking off her coat, she noticed that Noah seemed upset and walked over to him. "Hey Noah, can you come here?" Noah slowly walks to his mom who is healing down at his level. "Are you okay?" The 4 year old looks up at his mom, before asking, "Where's daddy?" Shocked by the question, Liv is stunned, but recovers fairly quickly and replies, "Honey, that's something that I think you I should talk about some other time. Okay?" Noah looks up at his mom with pleading eyes and asks, "But why can't you tell me now?" Olivia sighs wishing that this conversation could have been way into the future when Noah was more like 10 and not 4. "Noah sweetheart, tonight is not the night to have this discussion. If you are still wanting to know, then we can talk about it sometime tomorrow when both of us have had some sleep. Okay?" Noah accepts his mom's answer and goes to get ready for bed. 10 minutes later both boys were asleep and Liv was laying in her bed, staring at the ceiling figuring out how she's going to child-explain Noah's fathers situation.
