CHAPTER THREE

PREVIOUSLY

The pilot asks if everyone is ready, and they say they are ready to go home. The pilot gets the plane running and asks for clearance to take off and is given it within ten minutes and the four of them leave Paris behind and Robin wonders how Sonny, Jason and Carly was going to take her coming home, especially since she is pregnant with Jason's baby. Boy, were they going to be in for a surprise?

Robin didn't know what she wanted to do. Did she tell Jason about the baby? She knew what Carly would do. She would try to make her have a miscarriage. She hated her and now that she was carrying Jason's baby, she would be even more hateful with the object of making Robin lose her baby. She didn't want that. She didn't believe in keeping a father away from his child but in these circumstances with Carly in the picture, she couldn't tell Jason and risk Carly finding out and trying to make her lose her child. She just couldn't risk it.

"I need to talk to you guys. With Carly living with Jason and in his life," she knew this, but it still hurt that he got with her so quick, as if they never existed or meant anything to each other, that they never loved each other, "She will try to cause me to have a miscarriage if she finds out I am pregnant. She will try to upset me so much that I will have a miscarriage and she will do it on purpose. Therefore, I can't risk telling Jason about the baby, yet. I need to wait. I can't guarantee that Jason would keep her away from me, even though I'm pregnant with his child and it hurts really bad to have to say that." She says knowing it's true and hating it. She has a few tears in her eyes having to say that and knowing it was indeed the truth, she could not trust Jason or Sonny either for that matter. She couldn't trust them, and it was horrible feeling and knowing that.

"I once would have loved to tell Jason this news, and thought we would celebrate this news together, but he is too much in Carly's web and she used Michael to get him there and she is keeping him there and I can't trust him to protect us against Carly so I can't tell him right now. I have to protect my baby from Carly because she will kill my baby if given a chance. Does that make me a hypocrite?" She looks at the three men.

"NO, it makes you a mom, a good mom, Robin. You are protecting your child from death and that is not what Carly did so don't think this is like her, she just didn't want AJ to be the father, so she said Jason was, which was very wrong. He had been taken and he loved you, I don't know why he agreed, but he did. What you are doing though is keeping yourself from having a miscarriage and Carly would try to make that happen. She wants to be the only one to have Jason's baby so she would try to end your pregnancy and she is capable of doing it, so you are protecting your baby, you are not doing it to hurt Jason, just protecting your baby." Ned said, passionately.

"He's right. Carly would try to kill your baby. You are doing the right thing for your baby." Alan said.

"Robin, I love you, honey and I am proud of you, you are putting your baby first. Not yourself because I know you would like to tell Jason especially after what happened with AJ, but you are right about what Carly would do and I can't see after what he allowed her to do before that he would protect you from her now even though you are pregnant with his baby I can't see him doing anything different. I don't want you to lose your baby, so I think you are doing the right thing. You know how I feel about him and right now I would worry so much if you were around him so I hope you will be staying with us? That way I can make sure you are protected, and that Carly isn't near you, which she won't get near you while staying with me. I promise I will take care of Carly and you won't have to see her or Jason if you don't want to."

"Yes, Uncle Mac, I would like to but where is everyone going to sleep?"

"We will work something out."

"You know maybe we should move somewhere that has security and that is bigger and either sell the house or keep it and rent it out?"

"Robin, I can't afford a bigger place without selling the house and getting a loan." Mac is shocked at her suggestion. Didn't she understand? Money was tight.

"Uncle Mac, I have money,"

"Not Sonny or Jason will ever pay for."

"No, not them, my grandmother and grandfather Filipina and Giovanna Soltini left everything to me and I haven't used any of it and I have a lot and we could use some of it to get a new place a bigger place with security so no one can get through, not Jason or Carly or Sonny or anyone else just if you have a key or are invited in. What do you think? I want to do this for our family, please Uncle Mac?"

"Let's talk to Felicia when we land and then we will decide. Okay? Our family needs to decide this."

"I like that. Okay."

"I think you should rest, there is a bed in the back and one of us will escort you back there and help you settle in you need all the rest you can get right now and I am sure you were stressed out thinking that it was the HIV was acting up so as your doctor I want you to go lay down. We will wake you up before we arrive in Port Charles."

Mac gets up and takes his niece back there, turns on the lights, and gets her into the bed and under the quilt and sheets and he makes sure she lays down and turns off the lights and closes the door almost all the way, he wanted to hear her if she needed something.
