AN/ So i would go through pinterest and instagram to see some "Headcanons" and thought maybe it would be fun to write based on those to improve and just comedy sake after everything that's been going on for me. With that being said here's a series of headcanons, Some i thought were really interesting and i'm open to any requests. this is the first one i saw and thought it was cool, i know its a kids show and some may disagree but personally i like writing things like this as almost my way of coming out...it's weird i know sorry.

some of these will be based in a random time period in the 2012 series or during the falling apart series

Once when April was living with the turtles, Leo caught April using a hair dryer after a shower and totally freaked out thinking April was going to shoot herself.

Despite everything that's happened, April still tries her best to remain positive,

One night only a couple days after they decided it was best for her to stay in the lair she needed to shower, Splinter had let her up to the surface with the boys to collect anything she'd need for however long she'd be staying, There was no reason to show the boys what she brought from her apartment, it was all simple stuff like clothes, blankets, and sorts of hygiene and feminine products.

She was in the bathroom for an hour almost, slightly annoying raphael.

They sat around watching movies, mostly comedies such as due date or daddy day care, and eating snacks, patiently waiting for april. Suddenly leo gets up, they hadn't heard the water running in a few minutes.

"Where you goin?"

He turned back to raph as he continued walking

"Bathroom, let me know what i miss"

"Is she even done?"

"Who?"

Raph and donnie looked at their youngest brother with an amused/annoyed look

"the only female in the house genius"

Leo ignored the convo mikey and his brothers were having to go down the hall to the restroom, In a slip of the mind he had forgotten to knock and opened the door to see april with a weird device near her head. starting at herself in the mirror. His heart started pounding as the worst came to mind, He quickly leaped at her, startling her, wrapping his arms tight around her, forcing her arms closer to her body as she let the device drop to the ground.

"Leo what the heck! Let me go!"

"No! what the shell are you doing?!"

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? JUST GET OFF!"

"What is going on in here?!"

"Sensei! Help me?!" She shrieked, it was amazing how high pitched her voice could be at times.

Leo failed to realize splinter could hear the screams and came to the doorway. his face shows only panic for the situation and the struggle to hold April's hyperactive body.

"Leonardo. Explain! Why are you restraining her?"

"I Don't know! why was she about to shoot herself?!"

"Wait what?!?"

Both of them said the same question at the same time, Concern filling splinter. He knew this would be excruciatingly hard but suicide wasn't something he'd expect. The others had run over to see what all the yelling was over, leo kept his grip tight on her as she looked at everyone behind her in the mirror, She didn't know how to defuse the situation, all eyes were on her..

"What the heck is going on?"

"Leo won't f*cking let me go! er..sorry sensei" He nodded understanding

"I don't want you to kill yourself!"

"April..is this true? were you trying to harm yourself?" Splinter flicked his tail in worry as her eyes widened

"No!"

"April, if you need to talk about anything we're here, you dont have to-"

"For crying out loud, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??" Donnie flinched at her raged filled cry

Leo loosened his grip on her as he knelt down to hold the object by the wire. Holding it up with a puzzled look, It finally clicked that he thought it was some type of weapon, She reached for it but Leo pulled it away.

"Leo, it's a hair dryer, not a gun."

"Uh..what?"

she takes it from his hand and puts it on a low heat setting, The guys watch her as she suddenly turns it to leo, turning it on as it makes a weird fan noise and warm air blows against his face. Laughing a little as they all seem baffled.

"It dries hair, I was in a hurry to get ready when I realized how long I was taking and my hair was dripping wet and annoying."

they all stared curious, Mikey came over to wave his hand in front of the warm air, Leo looked guilty, sheepishly as he met the blue ocean eyes in front of him

"why would i shoot myself?"

"i uh..well..'

she sits waiting for him to speak, awkwardness filling the air after she turns off the blow dryer

"We know things have been hard, after your dad getting mutated and all this kraang stuff..we're just a little worried-"

She tossed her arms around leo, it was a little painful to see him so worried about her and stammering on, He seemed surprised at first but returned the gesture, hugging her back. Everyone smiles happy she's safe.

"If anything is going on though, you can always come to us"

She looks up into donnie's eyes who seems concerned as well

"Thanks guys.."
