After a couple minutes of walking, Katie and Crystal finally arrived at Main Street.

Although she already seen this part of the city the moment she returned, Katie truly missed this section of the town during the day. For her, this part of the street during the day is so lively, and less empty. Most people during the night around here only go to the pizzeria or the dentist, and that's about it. All of them are mainly out in the Downtown area either partying at the clubs or at home. It felt better this way for Katie.

While the two girls were walking along the sidewalk, the two of them could see a lot of people around here doing many different things. Some were just driving off to work, some were heading off to one of the places around here with their friends, while some were just hanging out around this area. It was a rather easy-going crowd of people around here today, but there doesn't seem to be anyone around here that Katie or Crystal knew. The only person who they pretty much knew around here was the person at the newspaper stand, and Katie wasn't even friends with him all that much.

As the two of them continued to walk along the sidewalk, they were about to walk pass the park that was between the town hall and the pizzeria, only for somebody to walk out of it. The person who was walking out of the park has flat blonde hair with glasses, and wore a light blue buttoned-down shirt with a black necktie, and black dress pants. Upon seeing this person, Katie and Crystal stopped walking, right as this person was turning their direction towards them. When the man saw the two tomboys, he immediately stopped in his tracks upon seeing them.

"Oh, Crystal. I wasn't expecting to stumble upon you this morning." The man said, before turning his head towards Katie. The moment he saw the tomboy next to the rebel, his eyes immediately widen in surprise. "What the...Kathryn?! Kathryn Morris?! I wasn't aware that you've returned to Simport?!" He said, nearly shouting.

"Well...I have. I just returned last night." Katie said, almost chuckling as she spoke. "Recently, I finally decided to come back so that I can work at my father's dentist building nearby."

"That's wonderful to hear." Ian places his hands in his pockets, before bowing his head at the tomboy. "Well, welcome back then, Kathryn."

"Thanks." Katie bows her head back at the man in front of her, before she decided to ask him a question now. "So...um...tell me, Ian. What have you been doing ever while I was in Augusta?"

"Nothing too much, honestly. Aside from the fact that...aside from my aunt's library, I am now working alongside the SPA Agents."

Hearing this, Katie's eyes widened in surprise. "You work at the SPA Agency now?" Ian nodded his head 'yes' to Katie's question. "Wow, that's awesome. What made you decide to work there?"

"Truthfully, one of my companions who happens to work there, Jenny, came to me to see if I was interested in working there. She explained to me that Agent Walker was needing more agents to assist him in something that he's currently trying to focus on." Ian places his hands in his pockets again, before continuing to talk. "Agent Walker had decided that now is a good enough time to go into the Nightmare Realm in order to save Evelyn Gray."

Hearing that last thing said, Crystal rolled her eyes , immediately. "Oh...here we go..." The rebel girl mutters, before crossing her arms and looking away from Ian.

"Evelyn Gray? Are you serious?" Katie asked, finding what the man was saying to be completely unbelievable.

The man was about to say something, but then Crystal held up a hand, stopping him before he could say anything. "He's being serious..." Crystal said, before glaring at Ian for bringing this up. "Dude, everyone in this entire town knows that all that shit about Evelyn Gray, and the Nightmare Crown, and...MorcuCorp...it's all nothing more but a complete myth. You honestly can't be telling us that you now believe that bullshit is true."

"Well, it is." Ian looks off to the distance, seeing the SPA Agency Building from their spot. "Just like you, I was rather skeptical also. However, when I questioned Agent Walker about it, he brought me to his office and shown me the Nightmare Crown." He then looks at the two tomboys in front of him again. "The only thing that Walker needs is the agent who was there in the jungle when Evelyn sacrificed herself to stop Morcubus. So far, he, nor Jenny or Roxie, had found her yet."

"Okay, this is getting utterly ridiculous." Crystal muttered, rolling her eyes once again. She then looks at Ian one last time. "Look, I rather not hear about this, alright? If everyone else around Simport says it didn't happen, then it didn't happen. I'm going to head off now."

The rebel girl walks off leaving Ian and Katie alone now. Ian looks behind himself, seeing that Crystal was standing by the side of the town hall, waiting for their conversation to be finished. Seeing that talking about everything that the other agents were doing driven Crystal away, Ian decided to change the subject. With a smile, he spoke.

"Apart from that, me and Amelia had...just started dating." Ian told Katie.

"Amelia?" The tomboy asked. "Who was that again?"

"She's somebody who moved here from England. I believe she came here about four years before Liberty came here." Ian then shrugged his shoulders, before continuing. "She stopped by the library once...we talked about our favorite books, and then we mutually agreed to start dating." He then chuckles to himself. "Aunt Elmira was most pleased hearing that I have a girlfriend now."

"Well that's wonderful."

"So have you gotten a boyfriend yet?"

"Sadly, no." Katie said while shaking her head. "I've been so busy studying that I never had time to find one."

"Oh..."

"Eh, who knows...maybe I'll find one now that I'm back."

"Hey Kate! You finished yet?!" Crystal shouts from the side of the town hall.

Katie leans to the side, glaring at Crystal after she yelled that. "Well...I guess, since your impatient ass couldn't wait any longer..." The tomboy mutters, before looking at Ian one more time. "Sorry, Ian. I...guess I gotta run now."

"Very well. I must be running back to the SPA Agency now anyways." Ian said. The man then walks passed Katie, as the tomboy went off to continue walking around town with her best friend.

A couple more minutes later...

Katie and Crystal were now walking somewhere in the DownTown area of Simport.

Neither of them really knew which part of the area they were in right now, since, like the neighborhood, the DownTown area was just like a maze to get through as well. But this area was much worse since the buildings around here were a lot more taller than the ones in the suburban area. Thankfully for them, they would always find a building that they were familiar with whenever they were in this section, just so that they don't end up getting lost in the process.

Speaking of which, Katie and Crystal stumbled upon a building that they were pretty familiar with all too well, which was the coffee shop. Back in Augusta, she would always feel a bit low whenever she went to get herself breakfast at the coffee shop at her college. Getting either coffee or breakfast didn't feel the same without her friends around. So Katie was happy to see to see this place once again after almost an entire year.

While they were staring at the building, Katie and Crystal immediately took notice somebody exiting the building. The person is a woman with long black hair, wore dark purple eye-shadow and black lipstick, and also wore a black dress. Both of them knew who this girl was, as both of them are very good friends with her. The two girls took a couple more steps closer to this woman, as Katie began to wave a hand while shouting at her.

"Hey Violet!" Katie shouts.

Violet stopped right then and there, quickly turning her head towards the two tomboys. She first took notice of Crystal first, then quickly took notice of Katie walking alongside her. When she saw the brown-haired tomboy, the goth woman became rather surprised.

"Katie?!" Violet asked, rather happily. Katie went over to Violet, which was when the two girls shared a hug together. "I didn't know you were back in town. It's so great to see you again."

"Ah, it's great to see you again too, Violet." Katie said, right as the two ended their hug.

It was at this moment, Katie remembered the conversation that she previously had about Violet. Her smile slowly became a frown, as she remembered Crystal mentioning to her that Violet had decided to end things with her boyfriend awhile back. Katie wasn't too sure how long ago the break-up even was, as Crystal never really mentioned it, so she wasn't too sure if Violet was willing to talk about it. But despite these worries, Katie decided to mention it anyway, just to show Violet sympathy about it.

"Hey...I...heard that...you and Lord Daniel had broke up while I was in Augusta." Katie said, sounding rather heartbroken for the goth girl. Violet just stared at Katie, losing her smile upon hearing this. Thankfully for the tomboy, she didn't look angry about it, let alone sad. "Are...uh...you okay?"

Violet held up a hand, before sighing. "It's totally fine, Katie. Don't worry about it." The goth girl told her. "Besides, me and Poppy both doubted that the relationship would've last anyway."

"Still...I'm so sorry to hear about what happened."

"It's fine. Like I said, me and Lord Daniel probably would've never been boyfriend and girlfriend any longer anyway." Violet then shrugged, before giving the tomboy a light smile. "For what it's worth though, the break-up was all the way back in March, so you don't have to worry about bringing it up to me anytime soon. I've moved on from him."

"Oh, well, I guess that's good to hear." Katie then crossed her arms, before asking another question to the goth. "So...have you found a new boyfriend since then?"

"Not yet. But I do have one person I'm a little bit interested in." Violet points off towards the direction where Katie and Crystal had previously came from, before continuing to explain who she's planning on dating. "I'm interested in this new guy who just moved here a couple weeks ago. I believe Buddy told me that he works at Gino's Pizzeria, the construction site that Patrick works at, and Ol' Gabby's Junkyard."

"Buddy? That clumsy bellhop?" Crystal asked while raising an eyebrow. "Since when were those two friends?"

"Not sure. All I know is that they either became friends rather quickly or they were childhood friends." Violet then shrugged one shoulder, before placing her hands on her hips. "I'm sure I'll ask him about it when I talk about it to him. We only started talking quite recently."

"Well, if he ends up becoming your boyfriend, I hope the best for you and him." Katie said with a smile.

"Thanks." Violet said while smiling back at her friend. She then points towards another direction, before she proceeded to end the conversation now. "Anyways, I must be heading off to my little sister's florist right now. I was planning on stopping by there on my way to meet up with Ray and Raven." Violet walks passed the two, before looking behind herself and waving at the two tomboys. "It's a pleasure to have you returned, Katie."

"Thanks, Violet!" Katie waves as the goth girl was beginning to leave. "I hope that we can hang out one of these days, now that I'm back!" After that, Katie and Crystal began to walk off to another part of the town, in hopes of possibly stumbling upon more people that they knew.
