A/N: So here are the characters for the reboot of Universal Runners. Like with the original series, characters and details will be added as the series goes on. So without further ado, here's the revamped premise and characters, thus far.

Premise:

"Universal Legends Online"

An immersive VRMMORPG that takes place in the virtual world of Unitas, a science-fantasy world filled with magical technology that is plagued by mysterious monsters and a mysterious blessing disguised as a curse. Because of its unique premise and next-level technology, the game became a global success and considered a rival to more popular MMOs.

Jordan Waters, a tomboyish girl who enjoys ULO as well as other favorite video games and cartoons, and who moved to Los Angeles from New York.

Armand Blanc, an amnesiac who recently joined the game to contact his friend not long after becoming a teacher at a co-ed middle and high school.

A veteran and newcomer. As these two players dig deeper into the mysteries of ULO, they and others that follow them will encounter new worlds, where they will unlock the mysterious power to protect these said worlds against a ma malevolent force.

Together, they will become the youths who "run throughout the worlds".

Runners:

Jordan Waters: The 11-year-old main protagonist and leader of the Monochrome Runners, wielder of the Water element and RunCom. She has a major obsession and vast knowledge of cartoons, anime, manga, and video games, which is how she manages to become such an effective leader of the Runners. Zeus and Kani become her good friends.

Armand Blanc: An amnesiac man who starts ULO at the same time he started working as a history teacher at Fils-Ame Moffet School. Unlike the other Runners, he possesses a mysterious Ether element with a special ability. His name and memories were suddenly lost when he found himself in the current world and was taken in by a father and daughter who have tried to help him recover his memories in exchange for infiltrating another VRMMO.

Zeus Spencer: A mysterious 13-year-old boy and wielder of the Light element and RunCom. Described as the best Runner in the Monochrome Union, he is a friendly and sociable individual. Despite this, he has a deeply hidden secret that seems to have multiple links to the Pokémon world.

S-Runners: (Support Runners)

Kanon "Kani" Kimura: A 12-year-old Japanese-American and a classmate of Jordan and Zeus. She is often called "Trading Kani," due to her being a jack-of-all-trades in just about every school subject (except Home Ec).

Andre Renald: A 10-year-old computer programmer prodigy and a good friend to Jordan and Zeus. While he mostly plays ULO, he secretly moonlights as a gaming content creator for another VRMMO. He also has a crush on Kani, but she prefers to stay friends.

Friends and Family:

Ricky Waters: A Caucasian-American police officer and Jordan's father, and Bren's uncle. Ricky is strict and very protective of his only daughter and doesn't trust any boy other than Bren to be around her. He often investigates some strange phenomena happening in California that result from the Runners' missions and adventures in ULO.

Vina Waters: A Filipino woman and Jordan's mother. She came to the U.S. as an exchange student to study on becoming a fashion designer. She eventually decided to stay permanently, became a citizen, and married her sweetheart, Ricky. She currently runs her own fashion business. Unlike her husband, she supports her daughter's decisions and often let her feel free to decide her future and to have a boyfriend. But she can often hand out discipline to Jordan when necessary.

Conway Waters: Jordan's older brother, who is 11 years older than her. Conway is a recent college graduate and experienced practitioner of the martial art Wushu, Jordan learned the martial art mainly from him and the two have a close sibling bond. He moved to Florida for a new job working in a martial arts dojo shortly before his family moved to Los Angeles from New York but remains in touch with them.

Terrence "Tenyu" Navel: A man who took Armand in almost a year before the series. He works for a game company and often has Armand and his daughter try out early versions of a new game his job is developing. He works with Armand to try and recover his lost memories.

Daisy Navel: Tenyu's teenage daughter. Initially suspicious of Armand, she soon warms up to him and sees him as the older brother she never had. She often tries out new games her father's company makes, and like him, works with Armand to recover his lost memories.

Students and Teachers:

Lena Baker: A 16-year-old popular high school girl who serves as a rival to the Runners (mainly Jordan). She enjoys picking on and putting down middle schoolers, feeling they have no place in the formerly non-coed high school. She, however, remains in the dark about the Runners and their adventures.

Sierra Merryland: Lena's best friend of who is part of her popular posse and often backs her up as her right-hand woman. She's rather an airhead, and often makes stupid remarks that have nothing to do with the situation at hand.

Principal Scarlett Roenick: The principal of Fils-Aime Moffitt School. Hard-nosed and strict, she has very little tolerance for rebels and troublemakers, most particularly Bren Revie. She often tries to keep him under close watch, in the hopes that he'll behave for a change. Despite her strict attitude, however, she does try to be fair and impartial when it comes to discipline for wrongdoers.
