Meanwhile...

With James...

After what had happened at Goth Boy's house, the man decided to just head off somewhere else. As he was walking along the street, he knew the tomboy was right when she told him that he should just give up hoping that the goths will let him hang out with them. Besides, he was already friends with two of them already, and that seems to be better than hanging out with Goth Boy, Yuki, Crystal and some of the others. For what it's worth, it was kind of nice for him to see Katie again after almost an entire year.

About a couple minutes of walking, James looks up from the ground, finding himself at a fifty-styled diner that he usually passes by whenever he walks to the comic book store. He looked down at his phone to look at the time, seeing that it was a good enough time to get himself some lunch. Placing his phone back into his pocket, James entered the diner.

Upon entering, James took a good look around the place for a couple seconds. He could see that the place wasn't completely packed today. Some people were sitting at their tables eating food, while some other people were just up and dancing. The song 'Hot Blooded' by Foreigner was playing on the jukebox as he stood there.

After giving the sight of the place a good look, James decided to go up to the front counter to finally ask for some food. He gave his order to the clerk behind the counter, then went off to one of the nearby booth tables that was close by. He sat down on one of them, then pulled out his phone so that he can play some video games while he waited. He honestly just hopes that this wait doesn't take too long, since he's been wanting to meet up with Ray and Raven immediately after.

"Well, well, well..." A male voice said behind the seat James was sitting in. "...If it isn't that one chump who always failed at getting to hang out with the other goths."

Hearing the man's voice, James immediately grew angry. He slowly turned his head to look behind him, seeing the exact same person that Katie had previously crashed into on her way back home. The man just stood there glaring at James, all while giving him a smug look on his face. Seeing this, James spoke.

"Well, great...as if this day couldn't get any worse..." James mutters, before glaring back at the biker. "What the hell are you even doing here, Chaz?"

"I was just coming here to collect some lunch for me and my girlfriend, but then I saw you sitting here by yourself." Chaz said. "So tell me, Louiston...what happened? Crystal kicked your ass or something?"

"Well, considering that she's friends with you, you're lucky she didn't. I would've been a lot more furious to see you around here." James then sighed, before looking at his phone. "But no. She didn't kick my ass. The goths wouldn't let me hang out with them...again."

"Hey, not my fault there, man. I always told you that Goth Boy is only going to see you as a geek and not a goth." The biker then leans on the back of the bench, continuing to tell James why that's the case. "Goth Boy's a tough dude, you're weak. He's cool, you're...well, you."

"It doesn't matter anyway, because one of Crystal's friends told me that I should just move on. After all, I'm friends with Ray and Raven, and they've been friends with me since we were little, aside from Jenny, of course."

"Right..."

"Anyways, why are you still hanging out near me?" James asked, now glaring at the biker. "Would you get lost already?"

"Fine. Whatever, dude." Ending the conversation there, Chaz went off to go find his girlfriend.

Now that he was left alone again, James continued to play on his phone while waiting for his food to get finished. He played his game for about a couple more minutes, until he decided to take a glance over at the front counter. The clerk had finally finished making his lunch, and was now placing the tray of food down onto the counter. James stood up, then went over to the counter, then collected his lunch.

Once he had gotten back to his booth table, James sat down and gave a good look at his food on his tray. There was nothing more but a hot dog with fries and a Pepsi. All of which was probably the goth's favorite whenever he came here.

Right as he was about to pick up the ketchup bottle, the goth heard his phone ringing. He immediately got annoyed. He could only wonder who was even calling him at the moment, whether it would be Goth Boy to only criticize him for earlier, or Crystal to do the same thing, but even more vicious. Either way, he didn't want to handle it right now. He picks up the phone, answering the call without even looking at who the caller even was.

"Hello?!" James asked, clearly sounding frustrated.

"James, it's only me." A female voice said on the other line.

After hearing that voice, James became immediately shocked. He realized right then that it was Jenny who was calling him, not one of the other goths. At first he was angry, now he was feeling a little awkward. He just hopes that Jenny doesn't think that he was angry at her.

"Oh...sorry about that Jenny, it's just that..." James said rather sheepishly, before stopping in his words. He rubs the back of his neck, then continued to talk about what had happened. "...Okay, long story short, all I can really say is that the goths were involved."

"Ah crap, James..." Jenny muttered. "You tried to hang out with the goths again? To think that you'd stop after we all graduated."

"Yeah, well...all I can say is that I'm pretty much giving up on that at this point. Katie Morris...came back from Simport apparently, and...she told me that I probably should just move on."

"Katie Morris? That dentist's daughter? I didn't know she was back."

"Same here. I didn't even know she returned until like...I don't know, an hour ago." James then looks over to the window, before continuing to talk. "But...either way, I'm just done trying to hang out with those goths, you know? I'm already friends with Ray and Raven anyway."

"Well, that's good to hear, James."

"Yeah..." At this point, the geeky goth decided to change the subject, since he was now wanting to forget about the other goths now. "So...how are things up there in the SPA Agency so far?"

"Eh, nothing much. Just trying to figure out how to get Evelyn Gray out of the Nightmare Realm." Jenny scoffs a bit, before sighing. "I just hope that she's still alive in there...she's been trapped in that place for who knows how long."

"Well...I hope whatever happens, she'll be okay."

"I hope so too." A couple seconds went by, and Jenny was silent. About a couple more seconds later, she spoke again. "Shit, Agent Walker's coming. I got to go now, James. I'll hopefully see you sometime tonight."

"Alright. Bye." After that the call ended, leaving James pretty much alone once again. He places his phone aside and began to eat his lunch.

Meanwhile...

With Chaz now...

After he had gotten some food from the diner, the biker then headed off to go find his girlfriend. He was told by his girlfriend to meet up with him down at the parking lot of the Boardwalk, since she should be getting off of work at the moment. Today was a short shift for her. So, Chaz got onto his motorcycle and then drove off to go meet up with his girlfriend.

It took a bit to get there, but Chaz managed to make it to the Boardwalk's parking lot. Unfortunately, from the looks of it, it seems like the parking lot was packed today. Chaz didn't really expect a lot of people down at the Boardwalk today, but then again, it was the start of summer after all. Since the parking lot was full, Chaz decided to park his motorcycle in the parking lot of the near stores, and then got off from there.

Chaz crossed the street, and then ran up onto the sidewalk that was surrounding the parking lot to find Summer. It took a bit to find her, but he found the girl standing by the side of the entrance, just looking down at her phone. The girl has blonde hair in a ponytail, and wore a black jacket with a pink tank-top underneath, blue skinny-jeans, and black sandals. Upon seeing her, Chaz began to walk over to the girl while waving a hand at her.

"Hey! Summer! I'm here!" Chaz shouts as he walked over to the blonde girl.

Summer looks away from her phone, seeing her boyfriend coming over to her. She smiled at the sight of him, and then ran towards him. "Chaz! Sweetie! I was wondering where you've been!" Summer said, running over to him.

"Well, I was getting us lunch, babe." Chaz said, while holding up the bag of food in his hand. He then lowered the bag once his girlfriend approached him. "How's work by the way?"

"Oh, it was fine, as usual." Summer rolled her eyes with a smile, before looking behind her shoulder. "It got rather packed in there pretty quickly. I'm not too sure why Tad said that my shift was only going to be during the morning only today. I would've totally handled this."

Chaz shrugged his shoulders, before he and Summer began to walk towards where his motorcycle was. "Eh, who knows. Probably less stress or something for you."

"Eh, probably." Summer then looks back at her boyfriend again. "By the way, is it just going to be us at the park today? I don't think you said anything about Tim or..." The blonde then became irritated while remembering one other person. "...Crystal...going to be hanging out with us. So..."

Chaz held up a hand, right as the two were beginning to cross the street. "It's just going to be us at the park. Both are busy right now. Tim's at his apartment, while Crystal called me earlier to say that she was going to be spending time with a friend of hers. So...you don't worry about it."

"Okay...if you say so..."

"Speaking of the apartments...ow..." Chaz lowers his arm, only to feel pain in it as he did so. He then holds onto it, before looking over to Summer. "...Some chump came speeding down the sidewalk on a skateboard and crashed right into me."

"Ouch...are you okay?"

"I'm totally fine." The two finally made it across the street. "It's funny, I don't think I've ever seen this girl around Simport before, you know?"

Summer raises an eyebrow, becoming weary about Chaz's supposed interest in the girl he was talking about. "You don't think she's hot, do you?"

"No." Chaz quickly turned his head towards Summer, shocked to hear what she had just asked. "WHAT?! NO!!!" He shouts, before talking a little more calmly. "I mean, I just never seen her around town before, and if she was here, I never seen her...Tell you this, she's a total chump for crashing into me on her skateboard."

Summer nodded her head. "Like, totally Chaz."

"Anyways, I doubt I'm going to run into her again, so let's not worry about that." Chaz then pointed over to the nearby park. "Let's just focus on our date, shall we?"

"Agreed." With that said and done, Chaz and Summer went off to go have lunch in the park together.
