After a couple minutes of driving, James finally arrived at the mall...
As he drove into the parking lot, he was immediately surprised by the large amount of cars that were parked in almost every spot here. It looked like almost everyone in Simport had decided to come to the mall today. Granted, he pretty much saw this coming since...well, it's the mall, but he wishes that there was at least one parking space available for him to park his car at.
He drove around for a bit and he found literately no parking spaces available for him. Seeing no other choice, he decided to park his car in the parking lot of the coffee shop nearby. After that, he got out of his car and began running straight across the street. Afterwards, he finally made it to the mall's main entrance.
Upon entering the mall, James looked around to make sure that he picked the right door to enter. The geeky goth remembers precisely that there's at least two entrances to the mall. One is the main entrance, and the other one is somewhere on the complete opposite, which was where the food court was. From the looks of it, the food court doesn't appear to be anywhere in sight, so to James, he seemed to have picked the right one. Hoping that he was right, he then began to walk around to find Jenny.
During his walk, the goth glances at the stores around him, trying his best to look for Jenny throughout this place. He knew Jenny said that the store that she mentioned was somewhere nearby, so she should be too far away from him. So far, it didn't appear that she was anywhere in sight.
"Hey James!" A female voice shouts from nearby. "Over here, dude!"
James stopped in his tracks, knowing that voice is Jenny's voice. He quickly turns his head to the left, seeing a girl who was waving for his attention. The girl has black long hair with a dark blue cap on her head and wore a dark gray jacket with a light blue t-shirt underneath and a dark brown skirt. It was pretty obvious that this girl is Jenny.
Seeing her, James gave her a smile as he walked over to where she was at. "Hey Jenny." James said as he approached her. "Sorry for the wait, the parking lot was full."
"It's fine." Jenny said while shrugging. "Honestly, I was worried about you being unable to find a parking space in that."
"Well...I parked in some other parking lot." James rolled his eyes before continuing to talk. "It's probably a stupid idea, but what else could've I done?"
"I know..." Jenny said with an eye roll.
"Yeah..." James then looks at the nearby store, before deciding to ask his best friend something. "So...are we going to start at the video game store first, or should we go off to either the arcade or the comic book store first? Either way, I'm totally cool with it."
"I guess since it's closer, I was thinking we start with the video game store first." Jenny then took notice of about two people in the distance, which instantly turned her smile into a frown. "Also...I don't think we want to be facing those guys over there." She then pointed towards a random direction
"What are you talking about?" James asked, before looking off to the direction that Jenny was pointing at.
When James turned around, he immediately saw what his best friend was pointing at. Nearby one of the nearby stores stood Chaz and Crystal, the two people that he probably despised the most in this entire town. Of course of all times that Jenny had a day off from work, it was a day when those two bullies show up here. The last thing he really needs is to come face to face with either one of those two, especially after both yesterday and all the shit Chaz put him and Jenny through. Thankfully, neither bully was noticing them right now.
"Well shit..." James mutters while glaring at the two from their spot. "...Because of course those two assholes are going to be at the mall too..."
"I'm surprised that Summer isn't with them." Jenny said, continuing to stare at Chaz and Crystal.
"I'm not." The geeky goth looks over at his best friend, before continuing to talk. "If you haven't noticed, Crystal and Summer don't like each other. Ever since Crystal started hanging out with her boyfriend, Summer hates her even more than she did back in the Royal Academy."
"Summer probably thinks Crystal wants Chaz to be her boyfriend, huh?" The goth shrugged his shoulders at his best friends question. Jenny then rolled her eyes. "If that's the case, that bitch is a hypocrite..."
"Tell me about it..."
The two stopped talking for a bit, as they continued to watch what Chaz and Crystal were going to do. From the looks of it, both of them seem to finally be walking off somewhere else in the mall. Neither of them knew if they were leaving the mall or heading off to a different store in here, but regardless, they were glad they were finally leaving their current spot.
With a sigh of relief, Jenny spoke up again. "Well...whatever." She mutters. "As far as I'm concerned, I don't care. Chaz, Summer, and Crystal are inconsiderate assholes, and we don't need to have any involvement with them."
"I know..." James said with a nod. He then turned towards his best friend, before pointing at the store behind them. "So...shall we finally go into the video game store now?"
"Yeah. Totally." The two high-fived on that, and then they went into the video game store behind them.
Meanwhile...
With Chaz and Crystal...
The two were walking through the mall, trying to get through the crowd of people who had decided to come here today. They had previously left the bike shop seconds ago, and were now trying to make their way to one of the other stores that were here. One of their other friends were hanging out there while they were at the bike shop, so now they were trying to get to that store now that they were done. Thankfully, the store they were looking for was on the second floor, where not a lot of people were.
Eventually, both of them finally made it to the second floor of the mall. The path was a lot more clear for them to walk around in, which pleased both of them. They continued to walk around, trying to find their other friend.
"Gah...where did Tim run off to?" Chaz muttered while they were still walking. "He should've told us which store he's when I texted him that we were done."
"He could've have gone too far." Crystal said while she was looking at her phone.
"Hopefully..." Chaz then turns his head towards the rebel girl, noticing that she was on her phone texting somebody. "Who are you texting there, Crystal?"
"Just a friend of mine."
"Yuki?"
"No...not her." Crystal then places her phone into her pocket, before continuing to talk. "It's a different friend of mine..."
"Is it Violet?"
"Me and her are not even friends..." Crystal said while rolling her eyes. "No, it's not a goth. Its somebody who...personally, I think would be very good friends with you if you were to meet them."
"Really? I'd be friends with her?" Chaz asked with an eyebrow raised. "What is she like?"
"Well...later on in the week or...month, she's going to be working at the dentist building on Main Street..."
"Really? Your best friend is a dentist?" Chaz interrupted, clearly sounding disinterested by what the rebel was saying. "Yeah...I don't think so, dude."
"There's more to it than that, Chaz. Believe me, there is."
Chaz sighed, before the both of them stopped by the side of one the walls. "What more is there?"
"Well...she's pretty cool, like you." The look on Chaz's face clearly shows that he didn't believe that being said. "Also...she's not to miss around the neighborhood. She's usually out and about on her skateboard around either my part of the neighborhood, or around Main Street." She then turned her head towards the biker, then gave him a smirk. "Believe me, when I introduce her to you, you're going to think she's cool."
Chaz rolled his eyes hearing that said. "Yeah, I'll see it when I believe it, Crystal." The man then pointed towards a random direction. "Come on, Crystal. Let's continue to find Tim."
"Fine..."
"Hey guys! I was looking everywhere for you!" A voice shouts from nearby.
The two of them turned their heads towards the direction of where that voice was coming from. They both looked to the right, seeing a man coming towards them. The person has dark blue hair with an orange dog hat on his head, and wore a long-sleeved orange shirt with dark blue overalls and dark brown boots. Thankfully for them, this was the person they've been looking for.
"Tim, there you are." Chaz said. "We've been looking almost everywhere for you."
"I didn't go too far from you guys." Tim said, before pointing behind himself at the store that was behind him. "I was in that gift store over there, since...well, a friend of mine's birthday is coming up." He cringed, before placing his hands on his hips. "...Sadly...I found nothing."
"I'm sure you'll find something for him before the time comes." Crystal said, before looking at the time on her phone. "Anyways, it's lunchtime now, guys. Should we head off to the food court now, or should we do that later?"
"I guess we could. I'm kind of hungry right now."
"I don't see why not." Chaz said with a shrug. "Let's go then." Now that the three of them together again, the three of them headed off to go to the food court that was downstairs.
