Meanwhile...
Back with James and Jenny...
Both of them were now leaving the video game store. Neither of them had bought anything while they were there, mainly because they already have a lot of video games at their homes already. The two were still glad that they went there anyway, just so that they could see if anything new was there or not.
The two were now on their way to the next two places that they said they were going to, the comic book store and the arcade. Like what Chaz and Crystal, they too had to get through the crowd to get to those spots. Thankfully though, the large crowd won't be too much of an issue when it comes to getting there. Not only are both spots upstairs, but those two locations are literately right next to each other, making it a lot more easier for the two to find them.
During their walk, the two of them were surprised that they hadn't stumbled upon Chaz and Crystal on the way there. Hell, neither of them saw any sort of sign that those two were still even here or not. They weren't too sure if Chaz and Crystal had left the mall moments ago, or if the two are at a different store. But regardless, but we're rather okay with this, feeling totally fine with not seeing their former bullies once again.
Eventually, James and Jenny finally made it to where both the comic book store and the arcade were. Unlike the first floor, this area of the mall seems a lot less crowded. Also, the two stores were somewhere near the elevators, so thankfully, it wasn't going to be much of a long walk to get there. There still was only one issue for the two however.
"So...which one are we starting with first?" James asked his best friend. "Are we starting at the comic book store, or are we starting at the arcade?"
"I'm totally cool with either, James." Jenny said. She then gave him a smirk. "Unless you want me to beat you at Space Invaders once again."
James rolled his eyes hearing that. "Oh please...like I'm going to lose this time. Just you watch."
"Ha, yeah right." The duo decided right then and there to first start with the arcade.
As they walked towards that area, Jenny stopped In her tracks when she saw somebody she knew leaving it. The man who was exiting the arcade has nearly perfectly-combed hair with glasses, and wore a dark gray long-sleeved shirt and black jeans. The moment she saw what this person looked like, Jenny automatically knew who he was.
Once she recognized him, Jenny held up an arm blocking her best friend from going any further. "Ow..." James muttered, before glaring at his best friend. "What was that for?"
Jenny then points at the boy she was looking at, before proceeding to speak. "That boy over there...with the glasses...I know him." She told him.
"Really? How?" James asked a bit confused.
"His name's Rob Jarrett. We both met down at Vic Vector's Arcade. I thought he's pretty cool person, so...I went up to him, and..." The girl gave out a soft chuckle before elbowing James in his arm. "Believe it or not, me and him have a lot of things in common. We both like video games...we both like Vic Vector's Arcade...and we both love the same shows and movies." Jenny chuckles again. "Can you believe that?"
"I...guess..." James then crossed his arms, before looking at Rob once again. "I'm surprised you haven't told me about him before."
"Sorry about that. I was going to tell you about him, but I keep forgetting to." The girl then shrugs her shoulders, before pointing at Rob. "But...hey, since he's over there now...want to finally meet him?"
"Well...I don't really see why not."
"Awesome." Jenny then turned towards where Rob is, then whistled for his attention. "Hey! Rob! Over here!"
Rob turned his head to where Jenny and James were at. He saw Jenny waving at him and James standing next to her with his hands in his pockets. He instantly recognized the girl, then went over to the two standing there so that he can talk to them.
"Oh, hey!" Rob said as he approached them. "You're that Jenny girl, right? The one girl who played 'Plane vs Eye' with me, right?"
"Yep. That's me." Jenny said with a chuckle.
"Alright." Rob then looks over to James, then points at him. "Uh...who are you?"
"It's James. James Louiston." The geeky goth told him.
"Oh, Jenny mentioned you to me before."
"Really?"
"Yeah. She told me that you and her have been friends for...God knows how long. All I know is that she said you guys have been friends since elementary school or something."
"Well...it's true." James said with a bit of a chuckle. "I still remember when we were both kids during lunchtime...I was trying to find somebody to be friends with, only for...everybody who I talked to not wanting to be my friend." The man cringed for a second, before smiling once again. "But...in the end, I saw Jenny sitting at one of the picnic tables, which I went to her, and asked if she played 'Plane vs Eye' like I do. She did, and...then we talked more about what we like, and...since then, we've been close friends."
"It's true." Jenny said with a smile. "I'm surprised that we still both remember that that's how we met."
"I know." James then looks over to Rob, before he then decided to ask him something. "So...me and Jenny were going to play some games at the arcade...are you wanting to hang out there some more, or are you just wanting to go home or...wherever you're heading off to?"
"Well...I guess since Jenny's here, I don't see why not." Rob said with a smile and a shrug. "Say, do you guys play Street Fighter?"
"Yeah. But me and Jenny usually play 'Plane vs Eye' a lot more than that game." James then pointed at his best friend. "But...she always beats me at that game."
"Same here back when we met at Vic Vector's Arcade." Rob then points behind himself. "Well, let's go over there and play some games."
"Awesome." Jenny said before she and Rob began to walk towards the arcade. She glanced behind herself at James, before pointing forward. "Come on, dude. Let's go."
"Alright." James said, as he followed Jenny and Rob to the arcade.
Meanwhile...
Back with Chaz, Crystal, and Tim...
Just like the three of them planned, the group went downstairs so that they can have some lunch together.
Once they got to the food court, the three went to two different spots in the areas to order their food. Chaz and Tim went off to go get food at the Dairy Queen, while Crystal went off to get some food a nearby hot dog stand to order her food. The song 'The Anthem' by Good Charlotte could be heard on the mall's radio up above.
After she told the person at the hot dog stand her order, Crystal looks over to where Chaz and Tim were at...only to see that they were caught in a long line. It seems like it's going to take awhile for them, so she decided to go off and find a table for them to sit at. Finding one might be a bit difficult, since it seems everyone here had taken about half the tables here already...then again, there's a huge amount of people here today, so Crystal pretty much expected this. But regardless of this, she still went ahead and searched for a table for them anyway.
The rebel searched around the area for a bit, until she finally found a table for the three of them to sit at. There were about three chairs on this table anyway, not to mention, no food or personal item on it, implying that somebody's at it. So all in all, it seems like this table is good enough for her, Chaz, and Tim. Without giving it a second thought, Crystal sat down at the table.
Unfortunately for her, this would be proven to be a very bad idea for her to do...
"Um...excuse me..." A voice rang out behind the rebel.
Crystal nearly jumped by the sound of the voice. She quickly looked behind herself, seeing a woman standing there, glaring at her. The woman in question has short blue hair with blue eyes, and wore a light blue dress with a dark blue jacket. Crystal wasn't too sure who this person was, nor was sure why this person has a lot of things that are blue, but before she could even ask about that, the woman in blue spoke.
"You do know you're sitting in my seat, right?" The girl in blue asked in a rather rude tone of voice.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but I think you're mistaken here." Crystal said to her, before standing up from the table to face her. "But this table was empty when I first found it."
"It was empty? No, it wasn't empty!" The girl then went over to one of the other two chairs before grabbing a hold of the back of it. "Have you ever checked the other chairs yet, to make sure nobody else was sitting here?"
Crystal was getting confused, yet annoyed as well. She didn't know what this woman was even talking about, until the woman pulled out one of the chairs to reveal something that she didn't see when she came here. On one of the chairs laid two shopping bags, as well as a blue handbag in front of them.
"You have your bags just sitting there on a chair rather than on top of the table?" Crystal asked the girl in blue. "No offense, but...maybe you shouldn't have kept those things hidden on the chair if you didn't want people taking this spot."
"Ha...and get my bags stolen? No thank you." The girl said in the same rude manner again. "You try dealing with constantly having your bags disappear, only to find out that the same boy with the baseball cap is taking it."
"Let me guess, Derek?"
"Is that his name? That boy with the blonde hair and the skateboard?"
"Yeah. Dude's a total prick, I can tell you that." Crystal then glared off to the distance for a second, before looking at the girl she was in an argument with. "Either way, I hope one day that asshole gets what's coming to him."
"I hope so too." The girl then sat down at her table, before looking over to the rebel one last time. "Anyways, my friend called earlier and she's coming over here, so...can you please go away now? You and I may be on the same page on that Derek jerk, but...we're not exactly friends."
"The feelings mutual..." Crystal mutters before walking away from the table.
Back with Chaz and Tim, the two men were looking around the area trying to find Crystal around here. Thankfully, their search wasn't too long, since their friend was walking straight to them after her conversation with that girl in blue moments ago. She pointed behind herself as she approached the two boys.
"Hey guys...sorry for disappearing." Crystal said to them. "I found a table over there for us to sit at, but that girl over there with the blue hair took that one first." The rebel then rolled her eyes. "Girly almost got into an argument with me over it..."
Chaz looks towards the table the girl with blue hair said. "That girl?" Chaz asked while pointing at the girl Crystal was talking about.
"Yeah, that one."
"She doesn't seem like someone who would start an argument." Tim said. "You sure you weren't the one almost started it?"
"Does it really matter who started it or not? Let's just go find table already." Crystal, Tim, and Chaz began to walk off to find somewhere to sit. "Besides, I have better things to do rather than talk about some girly I just met and probably won't see again. Come on, let's just go."
"Good idea." Both men said in unison, as they and Crystal continued to walk around to find somewhere to sit down at.
