Rolling over she gazed at him sleeping peacefully, looking at his brown hair and stubble she couldn't help but smile.

He was so handsome she thought, excitement seemed to bubble as she thought about the fact she was carrying a part of him inside her.

Moving herself closer to him she nuzzled into his neck before closing her eyes slowly "Morning" he yawned stretching out a little

"I didn't wake you did I?"

"It's the best kind of wake up" he smiled moving his head and kissing her.

Rolling over he pulled her in so she was flush with him, kissing her deeper.

"Happy Valentines day" he whispered against her lips, "Wife" she giggled.

Happy Valentines day husband," she said kissing him deeper.

"As much as I'd love to stay in bed with you all day. How about we go out for breakfast?"

"Baby Archibald is making me feel slightly nauseous," she said placing his hand on her stomach.

"But?" he offered as she nodded, "Great I'm starving" he said jumping out of bed and walking off into the bathroom.

Turning on the shower, Serena starts to stir and drags herself out of bed.

Jumping into the shower it wasn't long before he felt someone come up behind him and join him.

Turning around he started lathering her up in soap as she took it from him and returned the favour.

Pulling them bother under as the water poured over them she squints trying to look up at him as the water hits her face.

Smiling she cups his face and pulls him in for a kiss, feeling the steam from the shower between them.

Moving his hands down her body cupping her arse he pulls her up as she wraps her legs around his waist.

Pressing her against the cold tiles as the water trickled down his back he continued to run his hand down her side.

As it got more hot and heavy between the pair, he moved apart making sure to position himself before sliding into her.

Gasping ever so slightly she continued to move her tongue around his as he grinded against her.

"You sure?"

"Positive Mr Bass, this is her real name. I managed to find old photos of her from her childhood"

"Anything?"

"Nothing, seems like a normal standard childhood" Chuck just nodded has he was handed the photos, "Have you been following her?"

"I have, nothing yet. Though she's still early into her alleged pregnancy so we'll have to be patient"

"What's next?"

"I've got one of my mates down at the precinct going to pay her a visit and bug her house, so we can listen in to any calls. We've put a tracker on her car and currently trying to get phone records off her"

"That's great work" Chuck said before the elevator doors opened, "I didn't order anything?" Chuck said walking over, lifting up the card he read it.

"Just because we cant be friends doesn't mean we aren't, Happy V Day – B x" Chuck just smiled, placing it down he turned back to Andrew, "I need to trace these photos back to her setting me up"

"Ideally with some proof that she drugged you too"

"Exactly. if you pull this off there will be a huge bonus in this for you"

"Thank you" he smiled extending his hand as Chuck shook it. "I'll see you in a few days"

Walking over to his bar, he poured himself a celebratory drink. Considering he couldn't be with the one he loved on Valentines Day, this was a close as he could get to finally getting his family back.

Taking a sip of scotch he set the tumbler back down on the bar, looking to the invitation to tonight's charity gala. Looking at his watch it was a few hours away and there was no way he wasn't going to attend.

Hearing the elevator doors open again he looked over "Lily"

"Hi Charles"

"What do I owe the pleasure?"

"I heard about you and Blair, I wanted to make sure you were okay. I got informed today about the incident on the roof a week ago?"

Chuck just nodded, "I was drunk, I wasn't going to do anything stupid.. I wont make the mistake again and worrying you all" he said moving over and greeting her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"I want to apologise for my absence its been inexcusable. I know it brings you a lot of issues for you, you've had to deal with so much loss"

"But I'm not going to lose you"

"I'm here for you every step of the way"

"I feel so lost without her"

"I know I'm sorry" she said stroking his forearm, "but maybe you should remind her of why she fell in love and married you in the first place. You've got my beautiful grandson out of it. That means something. Maybe you need to make a grand gesture it is Valentines Day after all"

"I've already sent her some gifts, but I'll be attending the charity ball later. Shall I expect your attendance?"

"I'll be there Charles" she smiled as the elevators opened once more "Serena?" Lily asked as she walked in with Nate.

"Mom what are you doing here?"

"Just checking on Charles"

"While your hear can we go talk?"

"Sure. Sorry, I wont be long"

"No take all the time you need, me and Nathaniel need a chat anyway"

Nate just looked at him "Hey"

"Hey, look"

"No let me, look Chuck i really am sorry for the hurtful things i said about you and Henry. You're a great father to him" Chuck just looked down and smiled with a slight chuckle.

"If anyone should apologise it should be me, i know what said was out of order, i said it just to hurt you. I know how painful it was for you and i am sincerely sorry for throwing it in your face"

"Call it even?"

"Sure, drink?"

"Of course, so how did the meeting go?"

"Serena, you are just still so young"

"I know, but this is the first honest healthy relationship I've ever had. We are married now too"

"It just doesn't seem that long ago that you were in love with Dan, I don't want you to get hurt again"

"Well I thought that for a little while too but, you know Dan and I had that huge falling out and Nate was there. Mom you're going to be happy for us right?"

"Lord knows it doesn't matter what I say you're going to do exactly what you want too. But of course"

"Thank you" Serena smiled bright. "I've got some news to tell you.. I'm pregnant"

"What?" Lily said in shock as Serena just nodded.

Kissing each other on the cheek, they bring each other close into a hug.

"I'm going to be a grandmother" she asked still trying to get her head around the news "Yes" Serena beamed before pulling her back in for another hug, "No one knows, not even Blair. It's just a little early, 9 weeks"

"It's okay" Lily added kissing her on the cheek again.

"Mrs Blair?"

"What Dorota, I need this charity ball to be perfect. I haven't got time to waste chatting, this all needs to be sorted so I can go get ready"

"Yes Mrs Blair. It all sorted now"

Blair let out a relieved sigh "Good because I'm exhausted"

"I came as a present arrive for you"

"A present" she squealed, "Must be from my mother to congratulate me on that incredible runway show a few days ago" Dorota just nodded in agreement.

Opening up the box, it was the most beautiful dress she'd seen in years. Stunning strapless, black ballroom gown for Oscar De La Renta.

"Harry Winston too?" she beamed as she picked up the box to the side of the dress.

Opening up it was a stunning diamond encrusted necklace.

Going to put it back down she noticed a card underneath it "Just because we can't be together, doesn't mean I don't love you. All my love – C x"

Her face melted into a smile as she held the card to her chest briefly as she looked down at her dress and necklace.

"Go get ready, all be fine and perfect in 3 hours when guests arrive"

"Good idea" she beamed, "Dorota, bring all this with you and follow me. I need to try this on instantly" she smiled walking off to get ready.

"Sorry this isn't exactly what I planned for our first Valentines Day as a married couple" Nate said escorting her into the hall.

"What did you have planned"

"A romantic evening in with you"

"We could do it after?"

"If your not too tired?"

"Sure I could find some energy from somewhere" she smiled as the band started to play.

"S, Nate" Blair greeted them both, "Your table is just over there with me. Some champagne?" she asked as a waiter came over.

"I'm okay, thank you" Serena said as Nate took one, "It looks beautiful B"

"Thank you" she smiled, "Ahh professor Williams, lovely to see you" she said greeting the gentleman behind them.

Taking a seat at the table Blair glanced over and shot Serena a look. Looking back she jumped startled as she grabbed her chest "Chuck"

"Mrs Bass, I must say you look as alluring as ever" he smirked as Blair kind of tut-tutted and rolled her eyes slightly.

"Chuck's arrived" Nate said looking over at Chuck and Blair's interaction.

"God I can feel the tension from over here"

"Shall we dance?" Nate offered.

"I'd love to" she smiled.

"I see you like the dress" She couldn't help but smile coyly.

"You don't look to bad yourself Bass," she said adjusting his black bowtie, with her inches away from him, he squinted slightly taking in her scent.

Chuck couldn't believe he was this close to her and he wasn't ripping her clothes off.

It had been over eleven weeks since they'd slept together properly, 3 weeks since their quick little fling. It honestly felt like a lifetime to Chuck, he couldn't actually remember the last time he hadn't had sex in this long or as regular, if he actually ever had?

Taking a deep breath he had to calm himself down before he lost it as he could feel himself getting aroused by her.

"Care to dance?"

"I've got people to greet"

"They'll wait" he interrupted.

"Can you" she gave a sultry glance as Chuck swallowed hard.

"No" he replied completely mesmerised by her at this point.

Pulling him briefly by the collar, she took his hand and escorted him to the dance floor.

Holding her close, they began to move around the dance floor, eyes not leaving one another's.

They both flashback to when they last spoke on the rooftop of the empire.

"Say you'll wait for me," he asked his body was inches from hers.

"We love each other we belong together. Say you'll wait for me."

After a few agonising seconds as they both stared into one another's eyes, she whispered, "I'll wait for you Chuck"

"I cant hold it in anymore, I need you"

"We can't, not yet" Blair let out agonisingly, she'd not felt this extreme level of horny in years

"I'm not spending anymore time away from you" Chuck whispered

"I" he whispered into her left ear, "love" into her right ear

"you" he finished into her left ear again before moving back to her lips.

She felt her inside burn for him.

Moving apart and breaking off his touch Blair runs off through the crowd.

"Blair?!"

"B, B wait" Serena shouts as Serena goes after her following her out into the hallway, noticing the crowd of people she ushers her into an empty room.

"What happened?" She asked as they sit down at the bar.

"It's just so hard being so close to him and" she stuttered trying to calm herself down.

"not be yourself with him, i get it. Here let me get you a drink" Serena said jumping down and pouring her a tumbler of straight vodka.

"Actually, that reminds me. Why aren't you drinking?" Blair asked shooting her a look as she studied her reaction from across the bar.

Serena couldn't help but have a huge smile on her face, "Okay, so we aren't allowed to tell anyone as it's still really early but i'm pregnant" she beams as Blair's face lights up "Thats amazing!" she squeals.

It's all about to all make sense.

I was going to post this over a few weeks and i know a lot of you are hating this story but I cant leave a story with no ending.

So I've decided to try and post it all now as soon as possible to get what i hope you feel is a satisfying ending.

I understand growth, drama, but if you genuinely look back at their story as a couple (in the show a lot, you'll realise it was never smooth sailing)

Life is never easy, any marriage, relationship or journey is never easy.
