Later on in the day...

It was just about time for his date with Liberty...

Travis was still just as nervous as he was earlier today. He still wasn't too sure how everything tonight was going to play out, let alone if things were going to end up good. But either way, he had to remember everything that Sapphire had told him, to just go forward with everything and to not let any sort of stress bother him tonight. Hopefully, things will be alright anyway.

In his bedroom, the man was staring at himself in the mirror, seeing what he had chose to wear out on their date. The outfit he had picked was a white buttoned-down dress-shirt with a black vest over it, as well as a black necktie, and matching black dress-pants. It had been awhile since Travis had ever dressed in something this formal before, the last time being when he and Liberty went off to the latter's house for dinner with her parents. He always hated dressing formal, but considering the situation at hand, and the location of where they were going, it was only necessary. Although, looking at himself in his reflection in his outfit, he really felt like the vest he was wearing made him look like a total loser. Then again, Liberty's father did give it to him as a gift.

After Travis had finally gotten ready, he exited his bedroom and headed downstairs to meet up with Liberty. The man stopped the moment he had gotten to the bottom step, seeing his girlfriend standing by the side of one of the two couches they had in their living room. She was wearing a beautiful green dress that, like Travis's outfit, had also worn to her parent's dinner party before. Her hair was also not her their usual braids, but was in one ponytail that went down her shoulder. Travis smiled at this sight, then walked up to his girlfriend.

"There you are. I was wondering what was taking you so long up there." Liberty said jokingly, before kissing Travis on his cheek. "Shall we head off to the restaurant now?"

"Indeed, we shall." Travis said.

Both of them headed out the front door and headed over to Travis's car, which was parked in the driveway. When both of them approached the vehicle, Travis got into the driver's seat while Liberty sat in the seat next to him. Once they were both seated and buckled in, Travis started up the car, backed out of the driveway, then began to drive his way to the restaurant for their date.

It was rather silent on the way there. The only noise that could be heard throughout the entirety of the car ride was both the sound of the car itself driving, and the sound of the radio playing random soft rock music, and that's it. Both Travis and Liberty were just enjoying the ride while thinking about some things to themselves. Travis was thinning about how things were going to be, and Liberty was wondering what the surprise even is. Both were too focused on their own thoughts to even speak to one another.

Taking notice of the silence between them, Liberty decided to finally say something. "Awfully silent between us, isn't it?" She simply asked. "May I ask how the day had been with whoever you had spoken to hours ago?"

Travis just gave a simple shrug of the shoulder, before turning his head towards Liberty for one second. "It went fine." He said. "Well...one of the three people I've spoken to acted like an asshole, but...all in all, at least I feel a little bit more confident when it comes to giving you the surprise tonight."

"Oh Travis, whatever the surprise is, I'm certain that I will be happy with it."

"I...I guess...but my surprise to you, it's...more than what you think..." The man tried to continue to talk, but found himself unable to. He feels like whatever he would say in an attempt to explain this better would only give away what the surprise is. "You know what? Why don't I just keep driving?"

"Um...very well then..." Liberty just stared forward, remaining silent throughout the rest of the car ride.

A couple more moments later...

The couple had finally arrived at 'Love and Lunch'...

Once they had parked and entered the building, Travis and Liberty took a moment to take in the atmosphere of the restaurant. Throughout the interior of the place, couples were sitting together enjoying a night out together, or...in some rare cases...some people here were sitting alone by their lonesome, most likely to either find dates themselves or just to get food. The song 'Time, Love, and Tenderness' by Michael Bolton was playing the restaurant's radio on the ceiling above. It seemed like everywhere you go in this building, there's one hint of romance everywhere.

Seeing no other reason to stand and look around, the couple went up to the podium to get themselves a table. Thankfully for them, there was a table already prepared for whoever was the next couple to come in. At least they weren't being told that there were no tables available for them tonight, or else for Travis, this entire trip would've been a complete disaster for him.

The two were escorted to one of the tables, and then were given menus. The waiter then left them to figure out what they wanted to both eat and drink. After all of that, the couple was silent yet again.

As he kept his menu covering his face, Travis lowered his head down as he reaches into his vest pocket to make sure that he had brought the ring box with him. When he reaches into his vest, he was grateful to discover that he thankfully did. The man then opened the ring box to make sure that the ring was inside of it, and like him bringing the ring box, he was grateful to see it in there too. So far, it seemed like Sapphire was right. It didn't really seem that Travis had truly anything to worry about, as long as he didn't stress out too much about tonight.

He felt like now was a good enough time to propose, but right before he did...

"Hello there." A waiter said coming up to the table with a notepad and pencil. Travis quickly looked up from his menu, seeing the man standing there. "What drinks by I serve you tonight?"

"I'll just take a water please." Liberty said.

"I'll just take a Mountain Dew, please." Travis said.

"Alright." The waiter said writing both of these down on his notepad. He bowed his head at the couple, prepared to head off back to the kitchen. "Are you two prepared to order your food yet while we're at it?"

"I'm still trying to chose." Liberty said.

"Same here." Travis said, agreeing with his girlfriend.

"Ah, yes, very well." The waiter bowed his head again, before backing up from the table. "I'll leave you two be then, and I'll be right back with your drinks."

"Thank you." The couple said in unison. The waiter than walked off to the kitchen, leaving the couple to think to themselves.

Nearby, Pinky had just arrived at the restaurant too. She had just walked into the building about a few seconds ago, and was now trying to search for her friend BeeBee. She was annoyed to be here, but was pretty grateful to know that BeeBee was going to be paying for both of their meals and not her. That was probably the only good thing that was going to be happening tonight.

After a couple more seconds of looking the place, Pinky finally found BeeBee sitting at one of the tables. The girl was very easy not to miss, as she was the only girl in this building who had pink messy hair with a headband that displayed two bunny-ears on it. Not to mention, that the girl was wearing a pink dress with white boots. It was pretty clear from the headband that BeeBee was a person who loves bunnies, even down to the point where she calls herself the 'Bunny Princess'. Pinky doesn't really question any of this though, since none of this really bothered her all that much.

Walking over to the table, Pinky sat down in the chair that was right across the table from BeeBee. "Hey, I'm here." Pinky said as she sat down, causing her friend to smile.

"Pinky, you made it." BeeBee said. "I was wondering what was taking you so long to get here."

"The bus I took to get here got caught in traffic. Give me a break." The girl in blue rolled her eyes, before proceeding to get into a serious discussion with her friend. "Anyways, I think we...really need to talk about...well, your boyfriend."

"Why? Is something wrong with him?"

"No...well, yes...but..." The girl in blue stopped talking for a moment so that she can try to get her words straight to her friend. She gave it a couple seconds, before speaking about BeeBee's boyfriend. "What I'm trying to say is that...I really don't think that Preston is the right person for you."

"What?! What makes you say something like that?" BeeBee asked, sounding very offended to hear that being said. "Prezzy-Weezy is a good man, and a good boyfriend."

"Maybe to you, but do you see Preston around here ready to continue your relationship with him? Because I don't." Pinky said while holding her arms out to both sides. She lowered them to her sides, before continuing to talk. "Don't you think that a 'Good Boyfriend' would never text or call you while he's off in New York? Or even leave you stranded here at a restaurant leaving you with false hope that he'll be there, or maybe even never give you any sort of time or day that he'll be returning here?"

"Uh..." The girl in pink said, rather unsure about what Pinky was saying to her.

"They don't." Pinky answered for her. "Preston is a lost cause and this point, and..."

It was at this point, Pinky stopped talking. She was hearing some sort of strange sound coming from BeeBee's purse, causing her to stare at it with a confused expression on her face. Crawling out of the purse was...an actual rabbit, much to Pinky's shock. BeeBee takes notice of this, and pulls the rabbit out of her purse to hold it into her arms.

"Uh...BeeBee..." Pinky said. "Is that a rabbit?"

The girl in pink laughed, before placing her rabbit down onto the table. "I believe it's quite obvious. Don't you think?" She asked her friend.

"W-Well, I know, but...wh-why the heck would you bring one here?!"

"Because I couldn't leave him alone out at my house. Do know I am the 'Bunny Princess' after all, and I must have all of my subjects protected."

"You're an idiot..." Pinky mutters to herself, before pointing at the rabbit that was on the table in front of her. "At least have the courtesy to put him away until after our dinner night is over? Don't you know what this place would do if they saw your new pet out in the open?"

"You're overreacting, Pinky. You know that nothing bad is going to happen when..."

It was at this moment, both girls looked at the spot that they had seen the rabbit last. The rabbit that BeeBee brought with her wasn't even there anymore. Both girls looked around the table and even under it, seeing that the animal was unfortunately nowhere around them right now, meaning that it literately could be anywhere in the restaurant by now. Both looked at each other in horror.

"Oh no..." They both said in unison.

Both of them quickly got out of their seats and ran off somewhere else in the restaurant to find the rabbit. Unfortunately, both were getting the attentions of both Travis and Liberty when they were running passed their table. "What do you think those two are up to?" Travis asked his girlfriend.

"I'm not sure." Liberty said, right as the waiter had returned with their drinks.
