Season 2. Episode 3:
(The duplicates of the Original SG-1 visits Earth. Conrad must not just deal with doubles of the whole team, but a second Sam who has a crush on him.).
Jack was for the first time in a week back at the SGC, the first person to greet him was Conrad. "Sir." He said. Jack shook his hand and walked with him. "How's Sam?" he asked. Conrad looked at him. "She's great. We did some fun things at work while you were gone, we got a new Engineer, I blackmailed Senator Kinsey for kidnapping Hammond's grandkids. The guy wetted himself.". Jack laughed. "I wish I could've seen that." He said through his laughter. As they were walking, Sam came jogging with a pad. "Welcome back sir." She said to Jack. Jack watched as this beautiful woman passes him. He still didn't get over the fact he blew his chances with Sam!
Conrad patted him on the back. " I know you have feelings for her sir, to be honest, I am not mad or jealous about it.". Jack then turned to him. "What?". But Conrad then forced him into a wall. "But, if you try something, I will, stomp your knee caps backwards!" he threatened. Jack nodded. "No problem." Jack said. Conrad let him go and they walked on like nothing happened.
But then there was trouble. "Unscheduled Off-World activation!". Sirens went off. Conrad grabbed his pistol and went for the control room. The code checked out. "Who's Kontraya?" Conrad asked. Jack then groaned. "Those guys again?" he moaned. Sam crossed her arms. "They are basically copies of me, Jack, Daniel and Teel'c.". Conrad then looked at the gate. "Well, I met a version of you claiming to be married to me." He said.
The gate opened and five people came through. One was a short old man dressed in black. "Kontraya!" he said. The duplicated team looked around. O'Neill removed his glasses. "Feels good to be back." He said. Their Teel'c smiled. "Indeed.".
Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teel'c came down to greet them. Harli was the first to greet them. "Hello again." He said. Jack waved him off. Sam atleast greeted him and her duplicate. Daniel greeted his. Teel'c his. Jack just, stared at his duplicate. "What brings you here to our side of the galaxy?" he mocked. O'Neill then mocked back. "Nothing big.".
As the two Sam's were talking, the duplicate then turned her attention to the new comer. "Who's that?" she asked. The one in question, was Conrad. As he was walking to them he placed his gun in his holster. Stopping for he got stopped by Harli. "I don't know you, hello, I am Harli." He held his hand up. Conrad shook it which confused Harli. Now, the Duplicates wanted answers. The Duplicate O'Neill spoke up. "Who's the hotshot?" he asked. Conrad rolled his eyes. "Captain Conrad Baird, SG-1, sir." He stated his rank with correction. Duplicate Sam held her hand out. "I am Samantha Carter." She said. Conrad shook her hand firmly. "Nice meeting you, in a way." He said, a little confused. Teel'c bowed his head. Daniel just, stood there. Conrad of course tried to find a way out of the situation. Looking at his watch he said. "Shall we discuss this arrival?" he asked.
An hour later, the duplicates explained they needed a new power source for their batteries. Conrad and Sam were inspecting the blueprints. "If I can get these to Tobias, he might be able to identify the needed parts, then I can MacGyver my way around to make the batteries. But I need a battery and a volunteer.". Duplicate Sam raised her hand. "I'll do it.". Conrad then looked at his Sam. "Uhhhhhhhhhh?". Sam nodded. "Fine with me.".
Tobias was looking at the blueprints. "This is some next level stuff. I never seen anything like it." He was mesmerized. Like a child getting what he wants for Christmas. Conrad was playing with his knife. Duplicate Sam was looking at him, chewing on her bottom lip. Tobias of course saw this. "Uhmm, aren't you a robot?" he asked. Duplicate Sam nodded. "Android. But, I am more human then you think.". Conrad gulped. "I am Uhhhhhhhhhh, I am Uhhhhhhhhhh, gonna need to check that, Uhhhhhhhhhh, battery." He stuttered. Duplicate Sam pulled her shirt off, which made both Conrad and Tobias cover there eyes with screams of terror and shock. Conrad then yelled. "Put your shirt back on!" he ordered. Duplicate Sam did. Conrad then decided to remove the battery himself. So, lifting the shirt up at the back, he took the battery out and plugged in a cable to keep her from frying out. He and Tobias inspected the battery.
Sam came in. "Hey, how's it going?" she asked. Both men looked up. Conrad literally begged for her to be with him. Of course, Sam approved. She then sat on a chair. "So, progress?" she asked. Conrad shook his head. "No. This tin can here. (Gesturing to Duplicate Sam.) Can't keep her hands to herself.". Sam, laughed. Duplicate Sam smiled. Now, Conrad was lost. Looking to his Sam, then too the copy. "Did I miss something?" he asked.
But Conrad placed his tools down and told Tobias to keep him posted. He needs some air. Outside he was sitting in the forest. The breeze, birds singing. He sat there. A rustle alerted him. Turning around, he saw it was Sam. "Sorry for earlier. It's just, I thought it was funny.". Conrad chuckled. "I did sort of as well. This double thing, I got to get used to it.". Sam held him. Damn, those arms! He loved the feeling. Holding her too they sat there. "We should get off base more often." He said. Sam nodded. "Plans?" she asked. Conrad shook his head. "No. You?" he asked. Sam shook her head. "Nope.".
Both smiled devilishly. They were gonna have some fun.
Back inside. The Daniel's were exchanging knowledge. "Interesting.". Teel'c and his duplicate were training. The two Jack's were fighting like children.
As Conrad and Sam came back and pretended that nothing happened. The only people knowing of their relationship are the team and Hammond. So, talking with each other, Conrad was making sure the hickey on his neck was hidden. Making out under the stars was maybe romantic, but not smart when you're on duty. Walking into Tobias's shop they saw him working on the battery. "I got something. This battery contains the tiniest amount of Radon, radiation.". Conrad then stepped back. "Is it contained?" he asked. Tobias nodded. "It's sealed tight. Can't effect anyone.". Conrad let out a sigh. "What is it you want to say?" he asked. Tobias then showed the schematics. "We can use this to power an entire X-303 battlecruiser.". Conrad now, was interested. "Explain?" he asked. Tobias did.
After three hours, it was 00:34 hours. Since they have guests, Conrad and Teel'c were told to keep guard. One takes watch for two hours, the other sleeps. Conrad took first shift. Sitting on a chair, he was watching the cameras. The robots were given their battery's back. Harli was so energetic he couldn't rest. Well, Conrad wasn't sure if these guys sleep. He went through a whole Burger with fries. He then noticed one of the quarters were empty. Waking Teel'c he told him to keep watch over the cameras. Conrad took his P90 he ran through the halls. Kicking the door open he saw that Duplicate Sam was lying on her back where the camera can't see her. But she was acting weird. She got up she walked to Conrad. "What's with the hickey?" she asked. Conrad then pointed his gun at her chest. "Made out with my girlfriend, none of ye business.". This thing didn't listen, rapping her arms around him. "Is she hot?" she asked.
Conrad then pushed her away. "I am literally dating the original you." He said. Duplicate Sam then cupped his cheek. "Then you wouldn't mind me kissing you?" she said.
Conrad pushed her off of him. He locked the door when he got outside. Banging on Harli's door. Harli opened it and greeted him. "Kontraya!" he said. Conrad then held him at his collar. "I need your help, your Sam is driving me crazy!" he said. Harli then shook his head. "Not now, I can do it in the morning.". Conrad yelled. "Then do it in the morning!".
Next morning, Conrad was half awake, half asleep. Black rings were underneath his eyes. He was pretty pale. He was resting on his elbows. Teel'c was in the men's room. A mug of coffee was brought under Conrad's nose. Lifting his head he followed the steam of the hot coffee. Opening his eyes lazily he saw it was Sam. With a smile he took the coffee. "Thanks." He said. Sam sat next to him. "I watched the recordings. I can't remember the last time I saw you so terrified." She said. Conrad shrugged. "Yeah.".
Now they were both sitting in the security room. Conrad finished his mug and got up. As he was walking he got pinned against the wall by Duplicate O'Neill. "Stay away from my Sam! Understood!?" he demanded. Conrad grabbed the robot's wrist and squeezed it. He was squeezing so hard that sparks came out. Duplicate O'Neill went on to the floor. Begging him to stop. Conrad looked at him dead in the eye. "Never threatened me! Again!" releasing him he walked on.
Conrad got to the shooting range he rolled his arms, took a pistol and fired a whole round. Reloading he fired again. Placing the pistol away he jumped for the presence of the Duplicate Sam. She swung her hips a bit. "What ye doing handsome?" she asked. Conrad kept quiet. He walked on. Being tailed by her she kept asking questions. "Is it something I said?" she asked. Conrad kept moving. She asked again. "Why are you avoiding me?" she asked. Conrad stopped. Clenched fists he turned around and pointed a finger at her. "Listen here, I don't give a rat's ass what you try on me! I have someone! Go bother O'Neill or something." As that was said. Conrad marched to Harli. Who he found on the floor. "Shit." He swore. Grabbing Harli he yelled. "Tobias! Get in here!".
Within second Tobias came with a toolbox. Turning Harli around they saw a piece of his head was missing. Conrad then told the base to go under lock down.
Tobias has spend atleast twenty minutes before he could get Harli working again. He got up and was rubbing his hands together. "Well, thank you for fixing me. But we must get those batteries recharged.". Silently, Conrad was thanking the lord.
The two teams stood at the gate. The two Jack's were greeting each other with a handshake. Both Daniel's chatted for a last time. The Teel'c(s) were bowing their heads. Both Sam's greeted with a hug. Conrad kept his distance.
As the Duplicates left, Conrad noticed that Jack and Sam were holding hands. He turned to Harli, who was smiling. Bowing with a weird sign with his hands he went through the gate. The gate deactivated.
Conrad then yelled to the heavens. "THANK GOODNESS!".
