Epilogue/Chapter 74

***Two Years Later***

(Life was perfect for the 3 couples….Nikolas and Michelle, Lucky and Elizabeth, and Max and Emily. They were all relaxing at Nikolas and Michelle's house. Elizabeth, Emily, and Michelle were in the living room chatting)

Liz: "Can you believe it's been 2 years since everything happened?"

Michelle: "I know. Nikolas and I are married with a baby girl on the way. Andrew is thriving as a 3-year-old."

Liz: (chuckles) "Lucky and I were happy to have another little bundle of joy. Now that we have a son, Noah Mason, our little family is complete. What are you and Nikolas naming your daughter?"

Michelle: "Taylor Jean."

Liz: "Pretty name."

Emily: "I can't believe Max and I have been dating for three years. We're in college now and he gave me a promise ring during our senior year in high school. I immediately fell in love with it. It's a white band with little diamonds in it, as well."

Michelle: (giggles) "My brother did well on the ring."

Liz: "He did, indeed."

Emily: "I couldn't ask for a better promise ring."

Michelle: (smirks) "I wonder if my little brother will take a serious look at your relationship."

(Emily looks wide eyed at the woman)

Emily: "If you're thinking Max is going to ask me to marry him, I'm not ready for that. I love him, but we both agreed to wait until we finish college."

Liz: (tilts her head) "How long do you have left with school?"

Emily: "About a year. We're living together and happy with how things are."

Liz: (shrugs) "Nothing wrong with that, Em."

Michelle: "No, there's not. You know I'm just teasing you."

Emily: (rolls her eyes playfully) "When aren't you?"

(The ladies share a laugh. The men….Nikolas, Lucky, and Max…are in the kitchen engaged in their own conversation)

Lucky: "Can you believe we're both fathers again? Max, that he's kinda engaged to Emily?"

Nikolas: "I love the fact that Michelle and I have 2 kids. One boy and one girl."

Lucky: "Same here." (to Max) "Have you been itching to propose to Emily?"

Max: (shakes his head) "No. We both agreed to take the next step after college in a year. It doesn't mean that I don't have the ring ready, though." (smiles)

Nikolas: "Okay, you gotta tell us about the ring."

Lucky: "Yeah, spill man."

Max: (chuckles) "It's a gold band with a circle diamond that sparkles. There's a few strands of gold protection on the sides so the diamond doesn't fall out."

Lucky: "Very beautiful, Max."

Nikolas: "When the time comes, I can't wait to see Emily's face."

Max: "Don't worry. You'll both be there."

(Moments later, the ladies join their men in the kitchen)

Nikolas: "Hi, honey."

Lucky: "What's up, babe?"

Max: "Hey, sweetie."

(All three couples share a kiss before chatting more)

Nikolas: "How's the little guy?"

Michelle: "He's taking a nap." (smiles) "Very eager to meet his little sister."

Liz: (chuckles) "I think it's safe to say we all can't wait to meet little Taylor. Noah, he's perfect. So is Ashlynn, who is playing in the room you guys kindly made for her."

Nikolas: (smiles) "No problem."

Michelle: "We adore Ashlynn."

Lucky: "All our kids are perfect."

Nikolas: "I think it's safe to say we have great lives."

Emily: (nods & smiles) "That we do."

Max: "God has truly blessed us all."

(They were all happy with how things turned out. Life couldn't be better for them)
