(And now the conclusion.).
(After the death of General Conrad Baird, Earth is near the brink of loosing the war. Carter makes a drastic action to turn the tide of the war. Going back to her people and prevent the war entirely.).
The base was being prepared for a memorial. Sam couldn't bare standing there with a straight face. She was witnessing the memorial of her beloved. Thomas Baird was the first to speak. "My dad, was a different man, he was one of the last of an ancient alien race but, he and I were the best of friends. All those fishing, hiking, off-roading adventures we had, will be the memories I held dearly. He was my inspiration to join the SGC in the war. It was, it was I who tried to make him proud but, I never realized, everything I did, made him proud. He was a great leader, and the best father a kid can ask for.". He walked down to the crowd were Alice hugged him.
A jar was placed in front of the gate. His ashes. Conrad always wanted his ashes to be spread. So they did. He was for the first time in a long time , reunited with his family. SG-1. The folded American and South African flags were handed to Thomas. Thomas stood there. It was up to him to lead the assault, to destroy the Replicators, to lead his people to victory.
After the service he was given command. Standing over the others he spoke boomingly. "This war has threatened us for decades! We cannot let this hell continue! We will attack the Replicator home world and we will destroy their collective! No matter what the cost! To victory!".
The soldiers all punched the air. "TO VICTORY!".
The preparations for this fight was being made. Sam was trying to get to Thomas. She did. "Thomas, what the hell are you thinking? You can't just attack them! They have the advantage! Their leader even looks like me for crying out loud!". Thomas nodded. "I know, which is why I am gonna kill that robotic scum before it puts a foot in our galaxy. Mom, I need you to go back in time to prevent this, this war, you have to.". Sam shrugged. "How?" she asked. Thomas handed her a device. "I reverse engineered the time dilation device to travel through space and time. You need to wait for the right moment. When that light hits green, you press the button and you get send back, it will be like you were never gone.".
Sam took the device. "Got it.". She turned in on and then saw the light was red. A huge thump sound shook the base. Thomas whispered. "They're here.". He then shouted orders which the men responded to. Alice came running to him. "Where do you need me?" she asked. Thomas looked at her. "I need you in the archives. Make sure any valuable data isn't being stolen, delete everything if you have to. Go.". Alice didn't needed to be told twice. She ran for it. Sam made a run for a P90. Thomas grabbed her wrist. "What are you doing? If you die here, then the timeline will be altered.". Sam knew he was right, this can lead to the destruction of everything.
Checking the time device she saw it was on the green. Thomas saw this and then told her to run for the gate. She did. As Replicators came pouring through the walls. She ran, watching innocent people being shot. She kept running. Time was slowing down for her. Thomas was at her side. He and Alice were firing at the enemy. The gate came to life. Sam turned one last time around, seeing her son being shot in the shoulder, while Alice caught him.
Then all was a blur.
She came through the gate to see SG-1 standing there. Conrad stepped forward. "Damn, you had us worried for a moment." He hugged her. She hugged him tighter then she wanted to but she just saw him die! Conrad pulled away and looked at her face to face. "What's wrong?".
Sam then decided to tell the truth.
