The pain followed Chaz during the drive back to his house. Throughout their entire relationship, he always thought that he and Summer were always happy together. Granted, he can safely admit that there were a couple flukes and mistakes that had happened here and there, but he didn't think it would be to the point where they'd break up. It would seem like he was completely wrong about all of that.

Chaz still couldn't believe that Summer also cheated on him with this Luke guy. They only met for an entire day, and somehow Summer wants to be with that guy rather than him? To add even more salt to the wound, somehow, despite knowing that what Summer was doing was wrong and that she pretty much used him, Luke somehow still wants to be with her after all of that? All Chaz can say is that if he's going to be on his girlfriend's side on this one, then he wants nothing to do with Luke either. Not that he'd be friends with him anyway.

It didn't take long for Chaz to finally make it back to his house. His house was only about an hour away from Summer's house, but after everything that he went through, it felt like it took more than one hour to get back home. The only good part about all of this is that he at least made it back home before the storm hit, but at that point, he really didn't care. He was way too depressed to even care about being stuck outside during the storm.

After pulling up into the driveway, Chaz got out of his car and headed over to the his front door. He entered his house, then headed over to the couch and tossing his jacket aside. All that Chaz really didn't after that was just sit down down, still feeling distraught by what had just happened. Not a word was said from him throughout all of this.

The house was dead silent at this point. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of the storm outside, with an occasional sound of thunder off in the distance. He didn't even bother turning on the lights to his living room how depressed he was at the moment. It almost became rather eerie how dark and silent his house became throughout the next few hours.

The only real sound that had been heard throughout that entire day was Chaz's phone, that he had placed down onto the coffee table moments ago. He picked it up, only to find out that it was Tim who was calling him. He didn't really want to talk to anybody right now, but at the same time, he really couldn't just ignore his best friend. Picking up his phone, Chaz answered and immediately spoke first.

"Hey, dude..." Chaz started off saying, before deciding to bring up what happened between him and Summer. "...I was a little skeptical at first, but...you were right the whole time. Summer was cheating on me."

"I'm sorry that you had to figure out about all of this, dude." Tim told him, sounding guilty for his best friend. "Are you going to be okay?"

"Well...I feel like crap, and that bitch broke my heart...what the hell do you think?!" The biker said, clearly sounding angered by Summer's actions.

"Dude, chill out. I get that you're angry and I understand that. Just...no need to take it out on your friends, alright?"

"I...I'm sorry..." Chaz then leans back onto the couch, looking up at the ceiling. "I just never felt so heartbroken in my entire life. I just can't believe that Summer would even do this to me...and I don't even know how in Hell that Luke guy she's now dating is even okay with all of this."

"Wait, he knows that you're Summer's boyfriend?"

"Yeah, and despite he's pretty much shown that that bitch is unfaithful, yet he still wants to be with her...for God Damn reason...I still can't get over that bullshit! I just can't!" Chaz then stood up from the couch, now walking over to his backyard doors so that he can look outside his house.

"So...now that you and Summer are over...where do we go from here? What happens now?"

"I don't fucking know, nor do I care right now..." The man then leans his forehead onto the glass window of the door, before sighing to himself. "...As far as I know, I don't want anything to do with Summer anymore, nor her asshole boyfriend...and I really doubt that I'm going to be hanging out at the Boardwalk ever again."

"Really? Man, we've been hanging out at the Boardwalk ever since the eleventh grade. It would be a shame to no longer hang out there ever again."

"Well, Summer works there, and I'm pretty sure Luke does too. So...count of out if I'm going to be around that place for the rest of my life."

"Bummer...oh well, if you're not hanging out there, then I won't either." Chaz then glances down at the floor, before Tim decided to leave him be now. "I think I am going to get back to work on my computer now. I'll stop by when the storm slows down a bit, okay? You take care now, Chaz."

"Thanks, Tim. You're a good man." The phone call had ended there after that was said.

Chaz places his phone back into his pocket, before turning towards the bookshelf that was right nearby him. Looking at it for a few seconds, he quickly took notice that there a picture of him and Summer together, placed on one of the shelves. After their breakup, the last thing that Chaz really needs to see is something like THAT in his house. The man picked up the picture frame off of his bookshelf and took it to the trash bin that was in his kitchen. After that, Chaz went back to the couch to remain seated there.

Meanwhile...

With Katie...

Pretty much like everybody else in the town, Katie and her father were taken by surprise by this storm. They were know lucky enough to have the day-off today, or else they'd probably be trapped in the dentist building until possibly midnight. They like the place, but the building doesn't exactly have a lot of food, nor do they have vending machines that contain snacks. They just hope that the other co-workers and friends of theirs are safe, wherever they are at the moment.

During the time being, Katie and Crystal were watching a movie together in the living room, while Katie's father was in the dining room working on his laptop. Crystal had arrived hearing about her best friend's day off, only to be trapped inside her house right as the storm immediately started. Katie's father allowed the rebel to stay at their house until the storm clears. It would be suicide to go out there, knowing that it could be potentially dangerous either on foot or in a car.

As the two tomboys sat there on the couch together, Crystal began to hear the sound of her phone ringing in her pocket. She pulled it out, curious to see who was calling her at this moment, until she saw that it was Tim. She wasn't sure why he was calling her right now, but decided to answer the call to see what was going on right now.

"Dude, I got to take this call right now." Crystal said as she stood up from the couch. "I'll be right back."

"Okay." Katie said, exited the room to answer Tim's call.

Crystal went upstairs so that she could answer her phone. She could go into the dining room to talk, but Katie's father was in there working. She could go outside, but...it was quite obvious why she wouldn't go outside to talk. It seemed like the only option left for Crystal was upstairs, so she decided to go up there instead of downstairs.

Once she made it up the stairs, she answered Tim's call. "Hey Tim. I'm busy watching Back to the Future at Katie's house right now." Crystal said. "What's going on?"

"Nothing good, Crystal." Tim said on the phone, concern clearly heard in his voice. "Earlier today, Summer dumped Chaz for this new guy that she met yesterday."

"THAT BITCH DID WHAT?!!" She screamed in pure anger, alerting Katie and her father downstairs. Thankfully, before her father could go upstairs to berate the rebel for yelling this in his own house, his daughter made it upstairs first to see what's going on.

"Dude! What the hell's going on up here?!" Katie asked, glaring at her best friend as she walked up the stairs. "What are you yelling about?!"

"We need to talk, in your room, right now."

Crystal grabbed her best friend by the wrist, bringing her over to her bedroom so that they can talk privately about this. They entered the room, closing the door behind them so that Katie's father won't listen in on their conversation. Once they were both in the bedroom, the rebel finally told her best friend what was going on.

"Summer's been cheating on Chaz with this new guy in town, and she now dumped him for that guy." Crystal said, rather bluntly.

"Summer cheated on him?!" Katie said, as a shocked expression appeared on her face. Crystal nodded her head, as the dentist grew rather angry at this. "To think that I was seeing the good in that girl when you brought her and Chaz into my house."

"Well, I told you, Katie, I told you that that bitch was nothing more but pure evil. I never trusted her the moment I first laid my eyes on her."

It was at that moment that Crystal looked down at her phone, seeing that she was still on the phone with Tim. After Katie had joined their conversation, she had completely forgotten that she was talking with him first. She held her phone back up to her ear so that she can resume talking to him about Chaz.

"Sorry for the hold up, Tim." Crystal said to her blue-haired friend on the phone. "Anyways, where's Chaz right now? Is he with you right now?"

"Sadly, I'm not. I'm busy doing something at home at the moment, but after I'm done here, I'm going straight to his house. I hate having to see him alone at a time like this."

"You walking out there?" Crystal turned towards the only window in the bedroom, seeing the insane amount of rain that was outside the house. "Are you crazy, Tim? You walking out there in that kind of hurricane is suicide."

"Listen, I've walked through multiple storms before. This hurricane, I can only imagine it, is no different."

Crystal rolled her eyes at Tim's bravery in a situation like this one. Now, rain is nothing really new in a town like Simport, but when it comes to one as bad as this storm, most of the residents tend to remain indoors until it goes completely away. Tim, on the other hand, is probably one of the fewest people in this town brave enough to walk through a storm like this one. It was probably because he didn't really leave in a part of the neighborhood where the street was all too busy. Regardless of such, both tomboys still didn't like the idea of Tim going out there and going through this storm.

"I still don't know about this, Tim. But if you say you'll be okay, then whatever, I won't argue." Crystal told her friend. "Just whatever happens, be careful out there."

"Like I said, I always do." Tim told the rebel. "Anyways, I must be getting back to work now."

"Okay."

"Also...one more thing before I hang up, but...since you're at Katie's house, you mind telling her that I apologize for almost ruining her time with Chaz last night at Gino's Pizzeria?"

Crystal raises an eyebrow hearing this said to her, before ultimately nodding her head. "Uh...okay...I will..."

"Awesome. Bye." After that, their phone call had ended there.

Crystal places her phone back into her pocket, before turning towards her best friend. Her causal bored expression turned into that of an expression of shock, disappointment, and annoyance as she turned to glare at Katie. The tomboyish dentist took notice of the girl's glare that immediately, unsure why she's all of the sudden annoyed and angry with her now.

"Dude, what's with that look?" Katie asked the rebel.

"Tim said you and Chaz were both at Gino's Pizzeria last night." Crystal said, while glaring at her best friend. She then crossed her arms, still not removing her glare away from the tomboy. "Were you guys dating?"

"What?! Dude, don't be ridiculous! We were just having dinner together as friends, it wasn't a date." The tomboy then stood up from her bed, before continuing to explain what happened. "We were just getting to know each other a little better as friends, just like you have been wanting us to do."

"Really? Are you guys friends now?"

"We...kind of are, yeah. But not dating."

"Oh...then that's good."

Katie then crossed her arms, before raising an eyebrow at her best friend. "You have a crush on Chaz, do you?" The tomboy asked her rebellious friend, rather bluntly.

"I...don't think it was ever secret to begin with, don't you think?" The rebel told her with a smile. "How can I not have a crush on him? He's totally cool, he's got a motorcycle, and he's totally hot. I always told Yuki that one of these days, when Summer breaks up with him, I'm going to be his next girlfriend."

Katie then rolled her eyes, before crossing her arms. "Well...if I were you, I wouldn't be attempting to pull any sort of moves on him right now." Crystal then glared at her best friend, who just continued to talk. "After Summer dumped him, I doubt Chaz is going to be willing to start dating again right now. Hell, I doubt he's going to be able to in awhile, maybe. I'm not saying that you're not allowed to date him at all, but considering what had happened earlier today, I would heavily advise you to just...hold off on trying to date him until he feels good enough to do so again."

Crystal would argue about this, but at the same time, she knew that Katie was right. Chaz already feels like shit. Now is probably not the best time to even mention something like her own crush on him. However, she still wished that she was able to go to his house so that she can comfort her biker friend. Too bad this storm was in the way.

"I guess I can't argue with that." Crystal said, before nodding her head. "Good talk then, Katie. I'm...also sorry I assumed that you and Chaz were dating there."

"No problem, also...there was no need to worry anyway. Friend or not, I doubt there even would be a chance of me and him dating. My dad would be anything but pleased if he were to find out I was dating a bad boy like Chaz, you know?"

"I guess I know, yeah." Crystal than walked over to the door, before looking back at Katie. "Anyways, want to continue watching that movie we were previously watching before?"

"Sure thing." After that, both Katie and Crystal exited the bedroom, then headed back downstairs.
