The next morning Anna's Kitchen is in disarray, it's nice having this many people around it makes her miss her family less.

She hands a blood bag to Vicki as Caroline takes charge of breakfast, barking out orders to Matt and Jeremy. Leaving Caroline to breakfast she talks gently to Vicki, "You can drink it out of a cup or a glass if it makes it easier, it tastes better warmed up." She takes the blood bag from her limp hands, guiding Vicki into a chair she walks around the island to get to the microwave, Caroline is already there with a mug in hand, handing it over with a smile. Turning to berate Jeremy as she catches him eating bacon from the pan. With a content smile, Anna warms up the mug of blood passing it to Vicki at the table taking the seat next to her. Vicki is silent as she sips at her drink.

Finally breakfast is finished cooking, the others join them at the table, dishing food out they settle to eat breakfast. Vicki ignores her plate choosing to glare at her mug instead.

"Err Anna, if you don't mind me asking?" Matt pauses hesitant, she gives him a reassuring smile letting him know he could ask her anything. "Why aren't you drinking any blood?"

"I'm not a vampire I'm a hybrid so I don't need as much, in this era I generally get blood transfusions, its easier."

"Sooooo, what's the game plan." Jeremy asks in the silence.

"We go to school like normal, Vicki stays here, I mean the police are looking for her after what happened in the cemetery."

"The hunters?" Matt asks.

"The council are the hunters or have hunters on the payroll. Either way this town is very very bad for vamps, Lucky for Vicki she has a very talented half witch friend who made her a charm bracelet to curb her hunger."

"I can't thank you enough." Matt starts.

"Shut up, you don't need to thank her we are all friends here, well most of us are." Anna agrees with Jeremy's declaration. Standing up she ushers the humans out of the room,

"Vicki, are you going to be ok alone I could stay."

"I'll be fine go to school." Vicki waves her off anxious to be alone.

"This house is more than big enough to keep you entertained, try not to drink too much blood but you'll probably need another at cup at around 2 if you want it warm 3mins in the microwave." Anna is still hesitant she is a new vampire after all. "Call me if you need anything.".

[school]

Anna drives Jeremy too school while Matt and Caroline use their own cars to avoid suspicion.

On the way to school Anna asks. "So knowing all you know now, do you still want to be my date tonight?"

Taking her right hand, he lays a kiss on her knuckles. "There is no one else on earth I would rather go with.".

Tyler catches up with Matt at school offering help with Vicki's search party. Matt shakes his head "She called man; she just needed some space from here. She'll be back soon."

Caroline steals Anna from Jeremy before they get halfway across the car park. "If I can't flirt with your uncle, I shouldn't have to watch you flirt with him. And anyway its costume time." She holds up multiple bags, Anna groans as she is dragged away to the sound of Jeremys laughter.

"No no no not her."

"Hush."

Linking their arms Caroline drags Anna over to Bonnie. "I have got your costume," she cheers to Bonnie, handing over two bags to Bonnie the other two to Anna.

"Seriously?" Bonnie heaves a sigh.

"Come on. Can someone+ please be excited that it's Halloween? I just wanna have fun, you know, just some silly, fluffy, fun."

"What is this necklace?" Bonnie pulls the amulet from the bag.

"It's just something we found, though I'm 100% sure it belongs to the bennet line, I can feel the magical signature coming off it."

"Errr."

Anna rolls her eyes at the young witches uncertainty "Wear it or don't, if you don't at least give it to your grandmother." She opens her bag of clothes a little more forceful than necessary. "A Pirate really Caroline."

A shrug, "You would make a cute pirate captain."

"Saved by the tone." Anna laughs waving her phone, walking away from the group.

"Uncle Finn, how's the holiday."

The rest of the school day passed in a blur.

[gilbert house]

Anna and Jeremy go back to his place after school to talk to Jenna before the party, but she's still not home, frustrated Jeremy walks into the kitchen to try and call her as the front door opens.

"Aunt Jenna are you home?". Anna vamp speeds into the kitchen to avoid being in a room alone with the doppelganger, it doesn't take to long for Elena to find them, she not happy with Anna being there, threatening to call Jenna. Jeremy shrugs he doesn't care what Elena does or thinks because Jenna is ok with them being together. Before either of them knows it, Elena is on a rant, shouting about Vicki, vampire and drugs, it's not pretty. Realising she isn't going to run out of steam anytime soon they just go about their day, it's not like they are going to be here much longer Anna asks if Jeremy has his costume ready, telling him he can change at hers, but they would need to leave now.

"I don't have a costume; I'm just going like this."

"That's not fair I have to dress up like a pirate." Laughing Jeremy takes her hand pulling her though the house, it isn't until they get into her car that Jeremy tells her he can't get hold of Jenna.

"We will just have to wait until she gets back unless you want to go up there now?"
"No its probably nothing, her assignment is due tomorrow morning she'll probably reappear then, it's how she usually studies."

[Anna's house]

It doesn't take them long to get to her house, once they get there Anna disappears to change asking Jeremy to find Vicki to invite her out with them.

When Anna re-joins them, she is surprised to find Vicki curled up on the couch, head resting on her knees. "Are you sure Anna, I could hurt someone."
"Not with that bracelet you can't and last night I gave out the others."

"Others?"

At her question Jeremy holds up his arm rolling down his sleeve to show a cuff, "Me, Matt, Caroline and Anna all have them, we got you Vik.". Pulling herself to her feet with the elegance only a vampire could pull off she pulls Jeremy and then Anna into a hug, tears coating her eyes.

Stepping back she swipes at her eyes, "I have nothing to wear." she sniffs.

Anna holds up a bag, "Curtesy of Caroline, she thought you would need this, go change." with a grin Vicki is gone.

[At the Halloween party]

"Is it wrong I'm glad Caroline didn't help me get ready." she whispers to Jeremy as they get out of the car. "I love her but at parties and events she becomes this hellish demonic force, it's terrifying." Jeremy laughs throwing an arm around her shoulder nonchalant. She raises her eyebrow at him.

"I did ask you to be my date, Anna." her eyes light up as she snuggles into his embrace.

Vicki laughs, the couple look up startled from their little world "I thought I would hate seeing you two together, but you're really sweet together," She takes a breath. "I'm so happy for you." as she says the last words she catches sight of Tyler, he's talking with Bonnie and Caroline, she cringes as he catches her eye.

"Want me to beat him up." Jeremy offers, Vicki shakes her head taking a jagged breath as tears sting her eyes. He's making his way over now, pushing through the girls he was talking to. Vicki turns to leave, as he shouts her name in a vain attempt to keep her in place. It's too late he's here catching her arm. Anna has to place a calming hand on Jeremy's chest to stop him from lashing out.

Vicki spins, tears free flowing down her face. Tyler reels back as if struck.

"You made your choice Lockwood; I'll never be good enough for you or your family."

He drops her arm ashamed. "I, I was worried about you Vik, I just wanted to know you were ok. Just because we can't be together doesn't mean I don't care about you."

"This isn't Romeo and Juliet Tyler, and it sure as hell isn't the 1800s your parents can't tell you who you can and can't date, just leave me alone."

She spins storming off, with a sigh Anna pecks Jeremy on the cheek, she knows he want to go after her, but he also doesn't want to leave her alone. "Go." one word and he's gone making his way through the sea of people to find his friend.

"Problems at home Lockwood, there are numbers you can call about that." she pauses tapping a finger to her chin, "Though that being said I guess your dad being the mayor gives him certain immunities.

"You don't know what you're talking about." He all but growls at her.

"Obviously." she whispers as he shoves past her.

Caroline joins her seconds later, the Bennett witch tagging along. She asks what was wrong with Tyler, and for now all she can do is shrug.

"Matt, Matt." Anna hears Elena before she sees her, sharing a look with Caroline Anna moves to intercept. Elena is harassing Matt demanding to know where Vicki is, trying to talk him into giving her up because she is too dangerous. Stopping when she is right behind Elena, she folds her arms and asks.

"A what exactly do you know about vampires." Elena lets out a little shriek, whirling around as she does. "Don't, I'm not in the mood and I will smack you, so hard your neck snaps." Leaving Elena staring with her mouth hanging open, Anna asks Matt to get a drink with her since his sister stole her date.

They had just picked up their beers when Anna curses, grabbing Matt by the arm she rushes into the school. Stefan has found Vicki. By time they get there, the corridor is in chaos lockers are strewn everywhere blood is coating the floor where a stack of lockers have fallen. Matt rushes to Vicki's side dragging Stefan off his sister.

"Jeremy," she manages to wheeze out through bruised throat, "He's under the locker."

Anna with a violent burst of power throws Stefan across the hall, that same burst of energy lifts the lockers off Jeremy, dropping them on Stefan's prone body trapping him under them. She rushes to Jeremys side, running frantic hands over his body. With wide eyes she looks at the others, "I don't know how to fix him. I've never been good at healing magic."

A shriek in the doorway draws their attention. "Shut up witch, has your grandmother taught you any healing spells." Bonnie shakes her head violently sputtering.

"If you're not going to be any help, go away." Anna snaps frazzled.

"What about one of your parents?"

"Somebody kiss Caroline, she's brilliant, and I'm busy." Anna says as she dials the phone. "Caroline do the demon thingy."

With a roll of her eyes Caroline takes charge sending Matt to guard the door, she sends Bonnie out to make sure Elena doesn't find them, before taking Vicki by the hand, "I know it is a lot of blood Viki but you are very strong, Stefan is wrong you are much stronger than him and you are going to get through this without his help because you have us. Now let's go out this back way, no, no Vicki don't look down, you don't need to look at that just look at me, that's it, that's it Vicki I got you, we got this." she talks to her the entire way down the corridor trying to keep her calm.

Anna lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding when her father answers his phone. "Dad, dad thank god I need your help he's hurt, he's hurt, and I don't know what to do." She panics down the phone terrified she is going to lose him, and a little more terrified that he has managed to worm his way into her heart so fast.

"Annika, calm down deep breath sweetheart, I can't help you if I don't know what is wrong with your friend."

She gulps in three big deep breaths, "He's bleeding, itis his head he was thrown by a vampire, and had lockers fall on him there is so much blood.

"Annika."
"Dad I'm in control, I just, dad he's so still." a sob escapes her lips.

"Put me on Video, I need to see him to heal him." she does as she is told. Her father starts with the head wound, telling her to focus on knitting the skin back together, but to do it you need to be able to see the full wound. It takes four painstaking hours to heal him completely, the punctured lung took two hours by itself, before they are done, and Jeremy begins to stir. She thanks her father profusely.

"Soooo, who is he, I've never seen you so upset about anyone before. So he must be important."
"He is I really like him dad, I mean I've told him everything, and he stayed, nobody ever stays." she sighs looking up willing the tears away, sniffing slightly. "So has mum showed up yet?"

"Don't you think If your mother were here, she would have ignored the laws of physics and been at your side in seconds." he laughs.
"Please don't tell her she'll worry."

"I'm worried,"

"Dad," she cuts him off. "I'm good and anyway Uncle Finn is making me do daily check ins."

"I tried to do that, but your mum wouldn't let me."

Both of them let out a tired laugh.

"I should go," Her father agrees eyes flickering behind him, motioning one minute. Anna smiles "I'll let you go dad, I'm ok, I'll call you when I get home, so you know I got home safe." they say their goodbyes and hang up.

Anna shouts Matt back into the room, "Matt I'm going to hide you two from view and you are going to get him to your truck and take him back to my place."
"What about." He motions at the destroyed corridor and unconscious vampire.

"I got this you, get him home. He should be fine in a couple of hours."

Anna doesn't need to do more than flick her wrist and the room is back exactly the way it was, with the exception of the unconscious vampire dirtying the floor. Flicking her wrist again a classroom door swings open, one last flick and Stefan's body is tossed in like a rag doll. She curls her fist closed locking the door righting herself she waves a hand cleaning the blood from her dress, strolling out the door as if nothing had happened. The first thing she sees from the school steps is Damon getting zapped by Emily Bennetts necklace she laughs walking over to join him as Bonnie storms off.

"That witch has potential too bad she's friends with Elena, doppelgangers tend to get the witches around them killed." Damon looks through her like he's deciding on something. Taking a gulp from the cup he's holding.

"The council have vervain and want to get some more from Zac."

"You killed Zac." He raises his eyebrow, and she sighs. "Your gonna give them the vervain aren't you."
"They don't think it's us they dismissed everyone at the party as suspect because we were out during the day."

He gives her a smug grin. She rolls her eyes pointing out if it wasn't for him they wouldn't be looking in the first place and now she has a baby vampire to contend with. She storms away from him anger burning in her veins. Pausing at her car door blood rushing in her ears, knowing he will hear her, "Ow and your brother is unconscious and bleeding in room 172." she slams the door more forcefully than she should, not even trying to calm down she tears out of the car park, just wanting to get home.

Sooo what do we think

honestly, I don't know what happened towards the end that wasn't supposed to happen, but I'm sure by the next chapter we will find out what happened between the three of them to cause Jeremy to be partially crushed by a locker.
