It didn't take too long until Jenny and Victoria gotten to another spot in the mall. However, instead of them finding a store to shop at, the two had found one of the stands that were in the middle of the large corridor. The stand...unfortunately...was one that Jenny tends to ignore a lot, mainly because it was just as uninteresting to her as much as the store they were previously in. They were almost going to ignore it, however, Victoria couldn't stop pestering Jenny about checking it out before checking one of the stores that she was wanting to shop at. Reluctantly, the geeky girl agreed and now the two went over to the stand.

Victoria was looking at everything that this stand had to offer. The only things that this stand sold were either perfume, lipstick, eye-shadow, and multiple other make-up items...all of which, Jenny could care less about. At least for what it's worth, the color pink isn't a large majority of the color at this stand, or she'd probably just head off to the next store without her new friend this time. She just stood by a couple steps away from the stand, waiting for her friend to get done here. Hopefully, Victoria won't take too long to check out what's around this area.

As she just stood there, Jenny just stared at the store that she's been wanting to shop at next, that one being the comic book store. With all of the dresses, make-up, and pink stuff in the previous store, she was hoping that they could at least shop in there before they head on home. She could go in there now, but she knew if she did, then Victoria would feel abandoned and probably would get into an argument about it afterwards. So instead of going, she just remained standing there and waited for the drama girl to get finished with this stand.

Jenny was slowly getting bored of standing there, and was prepared to finally go over to Victoria and tell her to hurry up. But right before she could actually do that, she looked over to the comic book store one last time and saw a very familiar face to her. It was the person who had been on her mind ever since she had received the love letter days ago. The person exiting the comic book store was Rob Jarrett.

"Oh shit! He's here right now?!" Jenny asked, almost out loud. Unfortunately for her, Victoria heard Jenny shout this from her spot.

"Dost thou uttered something to me, fair Jennifer?" Victoria asked as she walked over to the geeky girl's spot. "What may art thou be looking at?"

Jenny held up an arm, pointing towards where the comic book store. "That man over there. The one that's wearing the glasses." Victoria turned her head towards where the girl was pointing at, seeing the man that she was talking about. "That's Rob Jarrett. He's the dude that I've been telling you about...also, the man that I think is my 'Secret Admirer'."

"He...does seem like you would be friends with, indeed." The drama girl then held out a hand towards Rob's direction, turning her head towards Jenny with an eyebrow raised. "Shall we go to him so that we can ask about the love letter? Better ask him about it now rather than later, yes?"

Jenny gave a thought for a few seconds, a little unsure about this. When it comes to something like this, she is never shy to admit her true feelings for anything, whether it involves romance or something totally different. She's normally blunt when it comes to a situation like this one. However, she wasn't too certain why, but she wasn't too sure if going and asking him about it now was a good idea. The only thing that she can assume that's the case is because being in this mall, especially while having her 'Girls Day Out' with Victoria, wasn't such a good enough time to do so. That was really the only reason that she can think of being why she didn't feel like now is such the right moment.

Eventually, Jenny immediately was brought out of her thoughts when she began to hear her name being called from a distance. She turned towards the direction of where the voice was coming from, seeing Rob now coming over to where the two girls were at. When the man caught up to them, he smiled at Jenny before speaking to her.

"Hey Jenny. I didn't know that you were here today." Rob said, causing Jenny to smile back at him. He then turned her head over to Victoria standing nearby. "Uh...hey...I don't believe we have met."

"My name is Victoria Verily. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." Victoria said as she shook the man's hand, all while bowing her head at him. "Me and fair Jennifer have decided to have a 'Girls Day Out' today."

"Really now?"

"Yeah." Jenny said with a nod. "I mean...I was planning on hanging out with James like I normally do, but today, I decided that maybe I should hang out with Victoria instead. So far...we've only been to about one store, and this stand over here." She then pointed at the stand that the two girls were near, before continuing her conversation with her crush. "So, what are you doing here?"

"Just checking out the comic book store over there." The man pointed behind himself at the store that was a few feet away from them. "Have either of you girls been to it yet?"

"Well, I was hoping we would go in there today actually." Jenny turned her head towards Victoria, seeing that the drama girl had became rather distraught to hear that being said. "I've been looking forward to going there all day."

"If I were to be perfectly honest with thee, I certainly am not." Victoria said rather bluntly, before placing a hand on her own shoulder. "When I was much younger, I spent a large majority of my life reading romance novels, whenever it may be at home, at school, or even when we would go off to our town's library. Not a single time in my entire life had I ever laid a hand upon a comic book, nor anything superhero related for that matter."

"So...you've never heard of Superman, huh?" Rob asked, causing Victoria to shake her head 'no'. "Really? What about Spiderman?" Victoria shook her head 'no' once again. "Not even Captain America?"

"Personally, the only superhero I know is Batman, but that was mainly because of James." The drama girl rolled her eyes, before crossing her arms.

"Well, James likes Batman. He even dressed as him for Halloween when we were both younger." Jenny said, before chuckling to herself. "Anyways, um...Rob, can I ask you something that's important?"

"Sure. What is it?" Rob asked Jenny.

"Okay...this is going to sound totally crazy, but..."

It was at this moment, Jenny glanced at both people who were near her, seeing the situation she was currently in. Rob was just staring at her, wondering what she was wanting to talk to him about, while Victoria was just holding a hand forward, circling her hand to signal her to continue talking. Taking a sigh, Jenny finally got to the chase and explained to her crush what's going on.

"So...a couple days ago, I returned home from work one night, only to find a love letter placed inside my mailbox." Jenny explains. "Now, this said love letter that I received didn't have the name of the person who had written in...so, I could only assume that this is a 'Secret Admirer'. I'm a little confused, but...I believe that maybe...out of all people in Simport, that...you knew who it was who was writing to me." The girl then pulled out the love letter out of her jacket, handing it over to him.

Rob gave the love letter a bit of a read, as Jenny just stood there smiling with an eyebrow raised at him. Unfortunately for Jenny, her crush just handed her the love letter back, seemingly clueless about it. "Sorry dude. It seems like you're asking the wrong person here." Rob said with a shrug of the shoulders. "Anyways, I wish I could stay and hang out with you two girls some more, but I got to go meet up with somebody right now. I'll see you two girls around, okay?"

"Alright. I guess we'll see you around."

"It was quite the pleasure to meet you." Victoria said as she bowed forward towards Rob.

"It was a pleasure to meet you too, Victoria." Rob said, before he began to head off to find the mall's exit.

Once the man had left the area, Jenny and Victoria proceeded to head off to another part of the mall. "Well, it would seem that Rob isn't exactly your 'Secret Admirer', hmm?" Victoria asked the geeky girl. "He seemed rather baffled upon seeing thine love letter."

"Oh please, you seriously bought that?" Jenny asked the drama girl to her left. "It's pretty obvious that Rob is just in denial about it. I mean...would you tell Ray that you're his secret admirer right off the bat? I doubt it." She then held up a hand, looking off to the stores that were off to her left. "Besides, I'm pretty sure that Rob is waiting for the right moment to tell me. This mall isn't exactly what you call...'Romantic', you know? I'm pretty sure that he's finally going to confess his love for me later on during the week, I just know it." The two then stopped in front of the comic book store that Rob had previously exited. "Anyways, enough talk. I've been dying to go into this store all day today. Let's finally go in there, and see what's in there."

Without warning, Jenny grabs ahold of Victoria's wrist. "Oh blimey..." Victoria mutters, before the geeky girl began running towards the comic book store.

As Jenny and Victoria went into the comic book store, Sapphire was standing nearby watching everything happen from a distance. She, Candy, and their friend Zack were shopping in one of the stores that were right nearby the make-up stand that the two girls were shopping at before. She had only took notice of them when they were passing the store she and her friends were in. She knew Candy told her to not bother with James and Jenny's friendship at the moment, but she couldn't help but feel rather curious about what the geeky girl, as well as Victoria, were up to at the moment. While watching, she wasn't expecting to see Rob getting involved in their little conversation. She just hopes that he wasn't going to be too much of an issue when it comes to getting James and Jenny together.

It took a bit of time for Jenny and Victoria to be in the comic book store...

Unlike how it went back in the one store they were previously at before, Victoria decided to walk out of the store. However, unlike what she had assumed Jenny had done by completely abandoning her, the drama girl told her that she was going to be waiting outside the store until she gets done. Thankfully, Jenny understood completely. She knew Victoria wasn't really going to find anything in this store, let alone enjoy it, so she just allowed her to sit and wait outside until she gets done. So, in the meantime, Victoria just resumed shopping at the make-up stand she was at before.

After she had bought herself a few bottles of perfume and some lipstick, Victoria decided to go towards one of the nearby vending machines to get herself something to drink. She went over to the nearest machine and collected herself a water bottle from it. She was about to turn around and head back over to the comic book store to see if Jenny was finished or not, only to turn to her right seeing a familiar face walking over to the vending machine she was at. The person she was seeing was obviously Ray.

"Oh, Ray!" Victoria shouts, blushing upon seeing the goth walking over to her. She chuckles nervously, before stepping aside for him to use the vending machine. "Oh me, oh my...how dost we both keep stumbling upon each other today?" The goth chuckles to himself, shrugging his shoulders, before the drama girl decided to ask about Raven's whereabouts. "Is...Raven still with you? Where is she?"

"Raven got thirsty, so she told me to go find a vending machine to get her a Pepsi." Ray said as he leaned onto the vending machine. "So...where's Jenny?"

"She is..." The drama girl immediately stopped talking, realizing that her own crush just brought up Jenny's name. "Wait a minute...I dost not believe I have ever mentioned to thou about me spending time with fair Jennifer. How dost thou know about this?"

"Well, you mentioned something about you having a 'Girls Day Out', spending time with 'fair Jennifer', whom I could only assume is my best friend's crush, so...just a hutch, really."

Victoria laughs to herself again, placing her hands on her hips as she looked down to the floor. "Alright. Now I understand." She looks towards the store that the geeky girl was currently in right now. "Well, fair Jennifer is currently busy enjoying her time at the comic book store. I wanted to stay with her, but chose to stay out here until she's finished." She then faces forward at Ray. "I...could have just gone off to one of the other stores around this part, but...I honestly just couldn't. I personally enjoy spending time with fair Jennifer here at this mall. She is a very delightful person to be around, compared to her best friend. I don't know why I have t decided to hang out with her before."

Ray shrugged his shoulders, before looking off to the comic book store nearby. "No idea." He simply said.

The two then fell silent after that. Victoria just stood there unsure what to even say next, all while Ray was finally collecting the can of soda that he was meant to be getting for his girlfriend. Since she was hanging out with Jenny all day, she couldn't help but feel like hanging out with another one of her step-brothers best friends another day, especially if it's Ray. Granted, she already knew that Raven wasn't all too happy to have even heard about her and Ray's friendship, but hopefully, the goth girl will not see it as a problem later down the line.

"So, uh..." Victoria started off saying, all while rubbing her arm sheepishly. "Dost thou and Raven have any sort of...plans for later on in the week?"

"What do you mean?" Ray asked the drama girl, now raising an eyebrow at her, feeling a bit skeptical due to his conversation with Raven not too long ago.

"It may...sound rather ridiculous of me to even ask a question such as this one, especially to you...but..." Victoria paused for a moment, wondering what to say to not sound like she's actually in love with him. With a sigh, she spoke up. "Ray, dear, you and I used to be so close together throughout our last year in high school together...dare I even say, that out of everyone in the Royal Academy that year, I always considered you to be my...best friend. I cherished every single moment of our friendship together, and ever since we had graduated, I always wanted to find the time to ask you if we could resume our friendship and spend time together." She then took a sigh. "Unfortunately, fate had conspired against me on multiple occasions whenever I felt the time was right."

"Hold on...out of everybody from the Royal Academy alone, you consider me to be your best friend?" Ray asked, all while pointing at himself. Victoria nodded her head silently, leaving Ray rather surprised by this. "Damn...I never thought of it that way. For a moment, I was thinking that...oh, nevermind. Honestly, I miss spending time with you too, Victoria." He then rubbed the back of his head. "I was wanting to talk to you about hanging out together too, but...many things got in the way for me. Whether it would be my own job, me hanging out with James, me hanging out with Goth Boy and his other friends, me and Raven having dates...I never really found the time to come find you to hang out...I'm sorry."

"I understand, Ray." Victoria then stepped forward, looking at the goth directly into his eyes. "I guess there truly was a reason why I was seeing you at both the coffee shop and here at the mall. I believe fate is trying to tell us to...reunite and continue our friendship together."

All that the goth could do as a response to what the drama girl had just said was just chuckle. "Well...I guess you could say that...but then again, it was all probably just a coincidence and nothing more than that."

"That...is also a possibility, yes." The girl then smiled, before focusing her eyes back onto Ray's eyes. "Well...I find it wonderful that we had this little talk together, Ray. I truly did miss you."

"I missed you too, Victoria."

After that was said, the two smiled at each other for a good few seconds before they both took another step closer to each other. The two gave each other a hug that lasted about an entire minute. Once the hug ended, both of them stepped back away from each other, still keeping their eyes on each other as they did so.

"Um...hey...I think I should be going back to where Raven is right now. I'll see you later on, Victoria." Ray said, before collecting the can of soda that he had gotten, then heading off to go find Raven in the mall.

Victoria waved at the goth man as he left her. "I will hopefully see you around too, Ray." She said, before heading back to the comic book store to wait for Jenny to get done in there.
