Later that night...

With Katie...

After her conversation with Chaz, the rest of the day was very easy-going for the tomboy. Nothing too bad happened, nor did anything special happened to her throughout the majority of the day. The only things that really happened after her talk with the biker were the fact that she headed off to her work and then she and her father returned home to have some dinner afterwards. All in all, it was really nothing more but another average day for the tomboyish dentist and that's it.

Once she and her father had finished with their dinner, Katie decided to go upstairs to work on her laptop for the rest of the night. She called Crystal and Annie minutes prior, just to see if they were willing enough to have her come over to one of their houses to hang out, but unfortunately, both of them were busy. Crystal was busy hanging out with Yuki at some bar in the DownTown area, while Annie was busy at another friends house at the moment. So seeing that neither of her friends were able to hang out tonight, the tomboy decided to just stay at home in her bedroom. The tomboy continued to do work on her laptop, until it eventually became midnight, which was when she decided to finally go to bed.

After changing into her pajamas, Katie turned the lamp on her desk off, then laid down onto her bed. She glanced at her phone one last time to make sure that nobody had texted her and called her while she was busy on her computer, only to see that she didn't. She then placed her phone aside on her desk, before closing her eyes and attempting to sleep.

But right before she could drift off, her phone began to ring...

Hearing her phone going off, Katie immediately sat up feeling both startled and irritated. She didn't know who it was calling her or why they would be calling her at this time. Whether the person calling her was either one of her friends or somebody looking to have a dentist appointment somewhere in the week...considering the fact that it's late at night, now is not the best time to even be attempting to call her. Regardless, the tomboy kept herself together and answered the phone anyway. The last thing she really needed was to be yelling at this person and waking her father up in the process.

"Hello?" Katie asked sounding calm, yet you can still clearly tell that she was still annoyed. "Who is it?"

"Hey Katie...it's Chaz." The person said on the other line. "I'm not calling you at a bad time, right?"

"Well...let me think..." Katie turned her head, glaring at the clock that was on the desk. "...Considering that it's about ten minutes passed midnight, I certainly believe that it is." She then took a deep breath to calm herself down a little more, before deciding to ask Chaz another question. "Why are you even calling me right now, anyway?"

"I was just calling to say thank you for the conversation that we had earlier today. You really helped me out a bit. Granted, you were a bit...blunt when it came to talking about my relationship with Summer, but...even then, you really did end up making me feel a lot less depressed than I was yesterday."

"Well, I'm glad to hear that, Chaz." Katie then laid down onto her bed. "I'm guessing you're going to try to find a new girlfriend now that you're no longer with Summer, huh?"

"I don't know about that right now, Katie. I mean...out of all the girls who I've known back in my high school years, I don't think I've genuinely fell in love with anyone else aside from Summer. Ever since I've met her, I have done next to everything in order to become her boyfriend...I've talked with her a lot, I've drove her to school a lot, I even fixed her parents car for her once..." Katie cringed, before the biker took a bit of a sigh. "...I guess in hindsight, Crystal was right when she told me that I was just wasting my time trying to get a girl like her as my girlfriend."

"Well...don't be too down about it, if Summer's going to be ungrateful for all of the shit you did for her, then that bitch doesn't deserve you." The tomboy took another deep breath, before deciding to ask Chaz another question. "Have you never fell in love with Crystal?"

"Crystal? You think I'd date your best friend?"

"Just think about it, dude...she's been hanging out with you for about awhile now, she likes a lot of the things that you like, and..." The tomboy then lets out a chuckle, before continuing to tell him more about her best friend. "...Get this...she thinks you're totally handsome."

"Dude, a lot of the girls back in the Royal Academy think I'm handsome...except for Liberty, Jenny, Gertrude, Amelia, and Victoria, whom all hate my guts. I'm not surprised that she does. Even then, you think I'd still date her? She somewhat was the cause of me and Summer's breakup."

"From the looks of your relationship, you and Summer probably never be would've lasted long together anyway, even if you've never met Crystal." The tomboy sat up and then smiled, continuing to explain to Chaz why dating her best friend is probably a good idea. "Either way, I think you and Crystal could really be good enough as a couple. I mean, she and you like sports, you both love rock music, Crystal also seriously loves motorcycles. To me, I can totally see you two becoming a couple, without a doubt."

"I'll...probably give it some thought..." The biker then gave a depressed sigh. "For now, I think dating is probably not going to be a priority for me right now, considering all the bullshit I had to go through yesterday."

Hearing this said, Katie nodded in agreement. "I totally understand, dude. I'm not forcing you to date anyone after your break-up with Summer, I was just saying that Crystal might be a good choice of a girlfriend for you."

"I know. Still, I'll give it some thought."

"Okay."

"Um...hey, I think I'm going to end this call now. Sorry if I disturbed you this late at night...I just needed to talk to someone aside from Tim or Crystal for once."

Katie smiled, not really seeing this phone call as a disturbance whatsoever. "Eh, don't worry about it. I hope to talk to you soon, Chaz."

"Same here. Later." After that was all said and done, the phone call ended there. Katie then places her phone back onto the desk, and fell asleep a few seconds later.

Meanwhile...

With Crystal and Yuki...

The two goth girls were busy hanging out at some random bar in the DownTown area...

From the amount of people who were here tonight, the entire place was packed. There were multiple people around here, either sitting at the many tables, sitting at the front counter, standing around and talking to either their friends or the other people here, eating some food, drinking some drinks, or even playing at the pinball games that were in one part of the building. Despite how crowded it was, Crystal and Yuki were lucky enough to find a table for themselves to sit at. There was also loud hard rock music playing throughout the entirety of the building as well.

Both of the girls were sitting down in one of the tables, enjoying a plate of French fries that they bought here for a snack, along with some beer. As the two sat there enjoying their little meal, Yuki was on her phone texting with her boyfriend, while Crystal was staring at one of the windows that were in the front of their building. The rebel girl could see a line of motorcycles parked outside of the building. One wouldn't see it as all that much, considering that it's pretty much what you would normally find at a typical bar. However, whenever she wasn't hanging out with them, every time that Crystal say a motorcycle, all she could think about is Chaz. The fact that he and Summer are no longer together, made Crystal think about him even more, making her even more eager to become his girlfriend. It's still a shame to her that Summer had broke his heart, but at the same exact time, Crystal was at least grateful she didn't have to deal with her anymore.

"Hey Yuki, can I ask you something?" Crystal asked her goth friend. Yuki looks up from her phone, nodding her head at the rebel girl's question. "Are you aware of what had happened between Chaz and Summer yesterday?"

"Yes, Yuki is aware of what happened." The goth girl said. "Without any sort of remorse, she told Goth Boy everything that had happened between her and Chaz, and that she was dating some new guy who works at the 'Surf Shop'...that girl is such a bitch..." Crystal nodded her head, before talking a sip of her drink. "Why do you ask?"

"I was just thinking, and I've been thinking about this quite awhile now...but do you think that me and Chaz have a chance together as boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"What makes you think you'd be good enough become his girlfriend?"

"I believe it's obvious, isn't it? I've been friends with him for about almost two years now, I love sports like he does, I have a leather jacket at home like he does, and I think it's kind of cool that he has a motorcycle, you know?" Crystal took another sip of her drink, before placing it aside to continue to talk. "I'm pretty sure if me and Chaz ever started dating, I would've been a way better boyfriend to him than Summer was. I'm probably the most loyal person that he and Tim have ever met."

"You're certain that Chaz isn't into somebody else? You don't know if he is interested in anyone else...aside from you, I mean..."

"Oh, come on, Yuki...who else would Chaz even date?"

"Maybe he would go for your best friend, Katie."

"Katie? With Chaz? No way, dude...I know I've been trying to get those two to meet with each other a couple days ago, but I wasn't trying to get them to date each other, I was wanting them to become friends. Also, I doubt Katie would even want to date him anyway."

"Really? What makes you think that?"

"Well, although I personally see those two as friends, I doubt those two would actually last as a couple. Chaz is a bad boy, and Katie is...well, a dentist. Chaz tends to love fun and enjoys parties, and Katie...loves to work and hates partying." Crystal then cringed, now realizing that there's another issue when it comes to her best friend and her crush dating. "Now that I think about it, I doubt Katie's father would even approve of them together. If I know her father, then I'd know for a fact that he would never allow his daughter to date somebody like Chaz in the slightest. He'd probably want his daughter to be dating somebody studious instead of a bad boy anyway."

"I'm guessing that Katie's father is a strict parent, huh?"

"Well, not exactly. He just wants what's best for his daughter, that's all." Crystal took a couple of fries off of the plate in front of her. "Unlike him though, I know my parents just won't care about me and Chaz dating, since they'd probably be more focused on my other cheerleader sisters instead..." The rebel just shook her head, rolling in her eyes in the process. "...Not that I'd care anyway, my parents are total assholes. They love my four other sisters than me anyway...so...I doubt they would even know or care that I'm dating Chaz anyway."

"Alright. Then Yuki guesses that you should go and date Chaz, now seeing that Katie won't be much of an issue for you." Yuki then took another sip of her drink, before placing it aside so that she can reassure her best friend that she won't be a problem at all. "Also, don't worry about Yuki trying to get Chaz as my boyfriend...Yuki better off with Goth Boy as her boyfriend."

"Hey, don't worry, I would never assume that you'd in be into something like Chaz. Besides, I always saw you and Goth Boy to be cute together...I mean, he's a bit pessimistic and annoyed a lot, but at least he's a good boyfriend to you."

"Yuki couldn't ask for a different boyfriend than Goth Boy." The two girls laughed to themselves, as they continued to eat the meal that they had bought.
