After her encounter with Aomine at the park and the market, he began talking to her more at school. Whether or not that was a good thing, Sara had not decided. But everyday she felt a large hand grab her shoulder to get her attention, and everyday she turned around. Today was no different.

"Oi." Sara heard as Aomines enormous hand wrapped around her shoulder, and she turned back to face him, setting her lunch down for a moment.

"Yes?" She responded, as disinterested as Aomine looked.

"Are you going to our game tomorrow?" Aomine asked, rubbing the inside of his ear.

"Most, likely… If I find the time." Sara said, a little embarrassed. Why did he care if she was planning to go to the game, he was most likely not going to bother showing up. Or if he did, he wouldn't be suited up or playing.

"Why bother?" He rolled his eyes. "They can't be fun to watch." Sara noticed Sakurai turning around slightly, his eyes darting over to Aomine and her, as if he was curious about her answer to.

"I find them fun." She responds, before turning back around and picking her bento back up. She dug her chopsticks into the rice to expose the curry underneath. It wasn't a lie, even though Too crushed most of the teams they played, the games were still fun to watch. Sara loved sports, she grew up playing Softball, but decided to not join the team in High School. Basketball was always fun for her to watch, such a fast-paced game compared to Softball and Baseball. So much more intense and physical. It was like she was on the edge of her seat the entire game, and it was fun. Even if the games were usually one sided.

But beyond that, sports offered something else to her, a refuge. A place where she not only felt like she belonged, but a place where she could lose herself in the flow of a game. In the rush of players moving so fast that if you blink you will miss it. A place where even though the yelling of the crowd was so loud and the whistles from the refs deafening; it was peaceful.

"You can't be serious," Aomine scoffed "watching losers get crushed every game can't be fun." Aomine fiddled with the empty onigiri wrapper sitting on his desk, rolling his eyes at the girls response.

"I suppose it depends on how you look at it." Sara took a bite of her lunch and continued. "People watch for all different reasons, just like people play for all different reasons. I am sure you know that better than anyone."

Aomine was surprised, and he could feel Sakurais eyes on him, gauging his reaction to her comment.

"Reasons why I play huh, well why do you watch?" Aomine was actually curious. He had spent the last few days trying to get to know this girl, or at least gauge her reactions to him. As far as he could tell, she didn't have a crush on him, and to be honest she didn't seem all that interested in him to begin with. He did like her smart mouth, and her witty comebacks, and the fact she was easy to talk to. But what did that leave, why was she always around? Was she just interested in Basketball?

"Hm… I guess you could say I'm looking for something, or rather somewhere." Sara responded, closing her bento and wrapping it in a purple cloth, reminiscent of the color of her midnight hair. She stuffed the wrapped box into her bag, and slid the bag under her seat more. She stood and brushed off her skirt, just to check for any stray food. She threw a glance over to Sakurai, who wasn't even hiding that he was listening anymore. As she turned around to walk towards the door, Aomine laughed.

"You're looking for somewhere? What does that even mean." He smirked. That was not the answer he expected, and to be honest, he couldn't make heads or tails of it. What did she mean she was looking for somewhere?

"Why do you play Aomine?" Sara asked softly, smiling at him. This perhaps shocked Aomine more then the confusing answer to his question. He knew why he played, he was looking for someone, someone who he was fairly sure he had found. But if he did indeed find them, then why was he still playing? The answer was easy, he loved basketball. But the question surprised him enough, that his silence was the only answer.

"Sometimes you just cant find the words, right?" Sara replied, like she was reading his mind. She stepped away from her desk and into the doorway disappearing down the hall.

Aomine stopped, staring at the empty wrapper on his desk. Plainly, he was frustrated. He didn't like not having the last word, and he liked less when someone acted like they knew him. But he had to admit, she was interesting. Her words and actions continuously surprised him, she never did or said what he expected. And although that frustrated him, it was exciting as well.

Aomine stood quickly, looking annoyed at Sakurai, who turned around so quickly hes sure he heard a little yelp. Aomine stuffed his hands in his pockets and made his way through the door and down the hall. He was done for the day, he didn't want to think about that conversation anymore. He made his way to the stairs and up to the roof.

It was no use, not even his coveted magazines could get his mind off of it. What in the world was that answer? She was looking for somewhere. Like the gym? Is that what she meant? Why would she want to be in a gym? He would much rather be in bed napping half of the time.

"Aomine Daiki… Get your butt back to class!" Aomine felt Satsukis foot slam into his side. He peered over his magazine to see pink hair hanging down in his face, and a scowl. "Really Dai-chan, I want to see you really pull it together this year." Satsuki said disappointed.

"Why do you watch basketball Satsuki?" Aomine halfheartedly asked, staring at the girls in his magazine again. Satsuki seemed surprised by the question, but answered right away.

"To gather data on opposing teams and think of strategies for the next game." She didn't hesitate, and that was so like Satsuki. She was an excellent analyst after all, the best.

"Nah, I mean you enjoy basketball. Why do you enjoy watching basketball?" He put the magazine down and sat up staring into the blue sky, wondering what her answer would be, though he was sure he knew the answer.

"I like watching my friends do something they love." Satsuki smiled and offered her hand to Aomine, who reluctantly took it. She pulled him up and they began walking down from the roof and back to class.

"I figured that would be your answer." Aomine sighed, he doesn't know why he bothered to ask, he knew her so well, of course that's what she would say.

"Why do you ask anyways?"

"I got an answer I didn't expect, and I don't get it at all."

"Unsurprising." Satsuki responded, and Aomine shot her an annoyed look, scoffing in the process. Satsuki laughed. "Who gave you the weird answer?"

"A girl in my class, Sara."

"That's surprising, you remembering a classmates name." Satsuki raised her eyebrows at the boy, surprised at the sudden interest in anyone, let alone someone not on a basketball team, not to mention a girl. "That's the girl who is always at our games right?"

Aomine stopped, looking surprised. She had noticed her too? Was he the only one who never had. Though he supposed he hadn't been to enough games to really notice. "I met her at the Winter Cup, she got into a fight with Haizaki."

"What?!" Satsuki yelled, students in the halls turned towards her. Surprised that she yelled, and scared to think that she may be yelling at the most terrifying basketball player in the school.

"Ouch." Aomine deadpanned, cleaning out his now ringing ear from her yell.

"Sorry, but your kidding. What the hell happened there?"

"Don't know, but he had his hands around her throat when I got there." Aomine said, as if it were no big deal, and continued walking down the hall. Satsuki followed closely behind.

"Does she know him?" Satsuki asked, still surprised at the news.

"Nah, she just has a smart mouth. And you know Haizaki." Aomine stopped at the door of his classroom and turned back towards Satsuki, who was peering inside the classroom, looking directly at Saras back. She had her head down and taking notes in her book. Satsuki looked back up to Aomine and he swore he could see a little smile.

"About your question. If your so confused, why don't you just ask her dummy." Satsuki turned around and went back down the hall to her class. Nosey Aomine thought as he went back into class and sat at his desk, looking directly at Sara again. He would rather figure it out on his own, but if he couldn't maybe asking her would be an excuse to get to know her more.
