Season 4 Episode 3:
(The Syndicate launches attacks on Replicators research laboratories, Sam gets captured by the Replicator's Freedom Faction, created by Fifth. With their help, the Syndicate can learn of Conrad's whereabouts.).
A whole fleet of ships were engaging in a battle, gliders vs Replicators. On the Syndicate Flag Ship, Apophis stood and observed the battle. Bra'tac came to the bridge. "The fleet is holding, I hope this plan works, but if the Tau'ri learn of this, we could compromise our alliance.". Apophis nodded. "I agree. Do we have a lock on the laboratory?". Bra'tac checked. "Yes.". Apophis then ordered all artillery to fire on the planet.
The lab on the planet exploded. For the past month, the Syndicate has destroyed over three Replicator labs. The enemy ships fell apart and now drifted in space. "Collect samples and have it send to the Tau'ri.". So they did.
Jack was at another conference with the Syndicate chiefs. Yu took Apophis's place for legal reason. Apparently the Syndicate believes that the Replicators are a more dangerous threat then the System Lord Alliance. Narim proposed that Stargate Command is more open of technology finds with the Tollan, but we all know he just wants Sam to himself.
(So I don't have anything against the character but, for the story I decided to make him a selfish ass.).
Jack didn't approve. Narim then kept pushing. "Samantha Carter will have full access to the finds, but all she have to do is to share the finds with the Tollan." He insured. Jacob whispered to Jack. "I geuss he has a thing for my little girl.". Jack nodded. Pieter Erich then said it is clear that the alliance between the two organizations are falling apart for they cannot find common ground. Odin and Ohper agreed. Rya'c was the new representative for the Free Jaffa Nation. Somehow he got elected as head of the council. Teel'c was proud of his son's success.
"The Free Jaffa Nation is old allies of the Tau'ri, I think it is best if the Tau'ri decides all trade and agreements with the Syndicate, because without them, none of our nations would be allies in the first place.". It is true. Jack, who was chosen by the president and joint chiefs, as Earth's representative. "Well, the thing is, we are just on the wrong page here. We need to focus all resources on defending our people, once Conrad is found and helped, we will have all the knowledge of the Replicators and we will have an advantage.".
Narim then snorted. "If we can save him.". Jack then sighed. "Diplomacy is not my strength, but I will be as diplomatic as possible. Your negative opinion is poisoning my trail of thought, so either remain positive or go home.". Narim then remained quiet. Hammond was at the door when he heard that. "Colonel O'Neill, we need you at the gate.".
Jack was on the move. The gate activated and Bra'tac came through with a bag. Giving it to Sam he turned to Hammond. "Hammond from Texas, we have a lead on your nephew.". Hammond then felt a spark of hope. "Where is he?". Bra'tac spoke. "He is on a Replicator planet, Major Carter, I will need your assistance.". Sam looked confused. "Me?". Bra'tac nodded. "It comes to my attention that you and Captain Conrad Baird were together.". Sam nodded. "Yes.". Bra'tac nodded. "Then you can help me. If we find him, you might be able to persuade him to come with us.". Sam then grabbed a few things, also a photograph of her and Conrad. She went with Bra'tac to a planet where two Ha'tak vessels were.". Apophis saw her and then handed her a device. "This is a map. If you don't get to the gate, we hid a ship that you can use to fly to the next one.". Sam nodded.
According to the plan, the Replicator's Freedom Faction should take her, she should persuade them to take her to the Replicator Council as a token of good. Her idea for that matter.
As she stood there, a ship beamed her up. A human-form replicator stood on the bridge. "Who are you?" she asked. Sam spoke. "I am Major Samantha Carter, SG-1.". She told her plan, apparently the Replicator Freedom Faction is meant to fight the aggressors known as the Replicator Council. They agreed to this on one condition. They must be given seats with the Syndicate. Sam said it isn't her call to make. The Replicator then said it is a deal as long as she honors her side of the deal. Sam shook hands to secure their trust.
She learnt a lot of this faction. Apparently when Fifth nearly died when the satellite fired at him, he decided to lead an up rise to destroy her double. When they arrived at the planet she was beamed down, she was taken to the Replicator Council. There were atleast twenty of them. Meaning there are twenty factions. But her double was sitting in the middle in a big fancy chair. Conrad was standing next to her. His hood covered his face but Sam could see his eyes, still red.
Replicator Carter stood up. "This is an honorable gift, dismissed.". Sam was left in this huge building that she believed was some form of government. Replicator Carter then spoke. "Why are you here?" she asked. Sam spoke. "I came for my friend.". Conrad tilted his head. "He isn't here, only me, as long as this chip is in his head, I am in control.". Sam shook her head. "I don't believe you.". Conrad didn't pull his hood down or anything. He just smiled. "Well then, you came for no reason.". Replicator Carter then ordered for her to be thrown into a prison cell.
Sam sat there, she send a signal to the Syndicate to let them know where she is. She just hoped the alliance won't be compromised. As she was sitting there, Conrad came to her. "So, you are the original." He more or less stated. Sam nodded. "I know you are in there Conrad, please, come back to me.".
Conrad sighed. "I looked into his mind, he cares for you, dearly, I am sorry, but there is no way of saving him. Not as long as I am in here.". Sam then rose her voice. "Why are you telling me this?" she asked. Conrad sighed. "I believe you call it, love.". Sam then held her legs. "Can I speak to him?" she asked. Conrad sighed. "No, his mind is dormant until I am removed.". He got up and walked away. But before he left, Sam saw he left something. A key. Taking it she opened the door and made a run for it. She was greeted by one of the Replicator Freedom Faction spies, he gave her weapons and also a map to the control room of the city power grid. When she got there, she saw three slots, meaning one thing, ZPM's. She luckily had a bag, she stuffed it with two ZPM's. She then made a run again.
When she got to the hanger, Conrad was waiting. "I see you found my key.". Sam nodded. "So what now?". Conrad pulled a sword out and tossed it to her, he took the other one. "We fight.". But he then mouthed something.
Make it look real.
She understood. Dropping the duffle bag and charged, holding the sword with two hands, Conrad used on arm. He was left so he had it in his left arm, the swords collided and he just smiled. Sam went for his back, he blocked it. "I see why he likes you.". He pushed her. Sam then took her Zat gun and shot him once. He fell on his face with a loud *thud*.
She apologized and made a run for it. She got in the ship and flew to the nearest Stargate. She then send her IDC and walked through to be met by a worried Jack. He hugged her. "Scared me for a second.". Sam nodded. "Thanks for caring." She said teasingly. She then showed the merchandise. Rodney then smiled. "Cool.".
Doc Lee was inspecting the ZPM's. "These are some interesting merchandise. With some help from Doctor McKay I might be able to get these ready to be send to the Odyssey.". Sam then asked about the other one. Rodney then smiled. "We can reconnect with Atlantis.".
Back in Replicator territory, Conrad was on a balcony. He was thinking. "Who am I?". Replicator Carter then came to him from behind. "What are you doing?" she asked. Conrad answered. "Thinking.". Replicator Carter then rested her head against him shoulder. "Come to bed.".
Conrad sighed. This isn't him, he knew it. But he played along. "Give me a minute.".
