Saving Kurt

Chapter 2: Old Wounds

A month after Kurt's divorce from Blaine, Noah got a call from his mother Norah. When he answers the call, he heard Jake's mother Sally screaming, "Get off my son, you son of a bitch!" and some gurgling noises from Norah along with Jake; before he heard a gun go off and his dad's voice saying, "I have no kids or family, you're all dead to me." Then he heard Rachel scream, "Beth hold on!" Before another voice says, "Put down the gun, sir!" and the call drops.

Then Kurt gets a call from Burt and when he answers it, Burt says, "Beth got shot. Norah and Jake are in critical condition. Rachel is with Beth, Shelby and Sally are dead. Jake tried to save them both. The police were just pulling up as Rachel and I approached the house" Kurt didn't get a chance to respond before the call ended.

Soon they were headed to the hospital in Noah's truck and see Burt standing out front with Rachel who was crying. Jesse was pulling up in his car with Carole at the same time and as soon as Kurt gets out of Noah's truck he asks, "How's Beth?"

Rachel just cries harder as she watches Noah walk up to them and starts saying, "I'm sorry, Puck." Over and over.

Noah just gets red in the face and storms into the hospital before marching up to the front desk and saying, "I'm Beth Corcoran's father. Where is my daughter?"

Then a nurse tells Noah to go to a room in the coma wing before the others follow him to the room. When he enters the room he stares at Beth for a couple of minutes. Before he started to throw things around the room after Quinn walks in.

Although he wasn't looking at Quinn, he started yelling at her saying, "This is all your fucking fault! I hadn't seen Beth since she was a baby! Now, she is twenty-nine-years-old and in a coma! Twenty-nine-years-old! Rachel has got to watch her grow up and I only got to see her twice when she was a baby!"

Then Liza Marie yells, "Papa Hulk, stop! This is not Queenie's fault! This was Bad Grandpa Puckerman's fault. You know, I heard that your dad tried to kill Nana Elizabeth and now Aunt Beff!"

Noah stops and looks at Burt before asking, "Is that the real reason it took you so long to accept me as Kurt's friend after I stopped being his bully?" Then he looks at Beth and says, "Did you know he came back after she was born asking me for money? I gave him all the money I was saving for college just so I didn't have to see him again. Now, thanks to him my daughter is in a coma!" Noah looks at Liza Marie as he says, "I promised myself I would never be like that and hate that she had to watch Kurt go through the same hell. I hate that it took bad men hurting my butt, for me to become Kurt's new boyfriend, and her new Papa."

As Noah picks Liza Marie up she says, "You are my Papa and I'm Beff's sissy now. Okay?" Then she looks at Rachel and says, "You both get to watch me grow up and you will always be my Mama even if Poopy Bland is not my Papa anymore."

Then Quinn says to Noah, "I'm sorry I gave Beth away, Puck, and Liza Marie is right. You will get to watch her grow up." After Quinn says this, Beth's heart monitor goes off and nurses run in to save her but couldn't.

Then Noah walks out with Liza Marie and goes to his truck. Before putting her in her car seat and driving to Blaine's new house. After taking Liza Marie out of her car seat, he storms into Blaine's house and gets in his face saying, "Take a good long look at her, you son of a bitch. Because this is the last time you will ever see her!" Then he punches Blaine in the face breaking his nose before leaving with a very happy Liza Marie.

When he got home Cooper was outside leaning against his car. As soon as Noah gets Liza Marie out of his truck Cooper says, "Puck, I just want you to know Blaine is under house arrest after trying to kill our dad. Ha, our mom was there when you stormed in and wasn't told the real reason Kurt asked for the divorce, until today. By the way, I'm dating Quinn. Ha, we started dating after you came out to her. Anyways, I gotta go see you around."

Then Liza Marie says to Cooper, "Uncle Pooper, next time you see Poopy Bland you tell him I'm Papa Nono's daughter now and he can kiss my ass!"

Cooper looks at Noah before chuckling as he says to Liza Marie, "I think he got the hint when Papa Nono hit him in the nose, but I will remind him. Later Little She-Puck."

After Cooper leaves, Noah took Liza Marie into his house, then he gets a call from Burt, and when he answers it. He hears Burt yelling at Nick saying, "You killed your granddaughter! What the hell is wrong with you?! first you kill Elizabeth because Kurt is gay! Now, you try to kill Beth because Puck is gay?! What kind of logic is that?!"

Then Nick is heard saying, "Elizabeth was my girlfriend and you took her from me! I wanted you to know how it felt! Puck gave Beth to that fag lover and deserves to lose her after becoming a fag!"

Before he could say a word the call ends and Liza Marie says, "I hate Bad Grandpa!"

Then Noah says through gritted teeth, "So do I, Liza Marie, so do I!"
