Meanwhile...
With Chaz and Tim...
Just like Crystal had mentioned, both men were busy at their job at the auto-shop. At the moment, both of them were doing two different things around the building. Chaz was sitting at one of the workbenches counting the tools that were in one of the toolboxes, while Tim was standing next to the open garage entrance keeping his eyes out for any customers. Chaz's father wasn't there today, neither Chaz nor Tim were sure why, but both of them didn't really care as long as he wasn't there constantly yelling. As long as that guy wasn't around here, they were totally fine. They even had the song 'Gives you Hell' by The All-American Rejects playing on the radio that was on one of the workbenches.
So far, throughout a large majority of their day, they only had one customer. They were only about two hours into their shift, and they haven't gotten another customer after they got done helping the first one...and that was at the very start of their shift even. From the looks of the street their auto-shop was on, the road seemed to be completely void of any vehicle. The only sign of any sort of cars are the ones that were completely driving passed at the very ends of the street, completely ignoring it. If they knew the workday was going to be this slow and tedious, then both of them would've just stayed home rather than come here.
After a couple more minutes passed, Tim decided that now is probably a good enough time to just go on his lunch-break. If they weren't going to be having any customers at the moment, he might as well just take a break now. Also, he knew if there really were any customers coming here to get their car fixed, Chaz would let him know of it immediately.
Right before Tim could head off to the break-room, a familiar voice shouting out his name was heard by him. "Hey! It's funny running into you again!" A female voice shouts from a distance.
Tim immediately stopped in his tracks, realizing who it was calling out for him. He knew right away that it was Pinky, since he had been running into her a lot ever since they first met. Knowing today, he felt like this was needed. He wasn't too sure why, but whenever he sees this girl in blue, he always felt a lot more happier whenever he spoke to her...maybe except for that one time when they both confronted Chaz and Katie at the pizzeria that one time, but all in all, to him, she's a very delightful person to have as a friend.
Turning around, Tim walked out of the building so he can greet his new friend. When the blue-haired man walked out of the building, he turned to his left, only to see that Pinky wasn't alone right now. Like she usually would, Pinky appeared to be hanging out with BeeBee. As they were walking up to him, Tim couldn't help but notice that the girl in pink didn't appear to be all that happy compared to her own best friend...he wasn't too sure why that's the case, as the last time they've met, BeeBee seemed a lot happier. Regardless, the blue-haired man decided to ignore this and greet her and Pinky instead.
"Hey Pinky!" Tim said, smiling at the girl in blue. "I didn't expect seeing you while I'm at work. Where are you and BeeBee off to today?"
"Oh, we're just heading off to the salon to get our nails done." Pinky said smiling back at her new friend. She then glanced over to the auto-shop building that was to her and BeeBee's right. "Is this where you and your friend work?"
Tim nodded his head. "Yeah. It's...not the best place in the world to work at, but hey, at least me and Chaz are doing what we both like to do."
"Um...who's Chaz again?" BeeBee asked in a rather disinterested tone of voice. "I don't believe you have ever mentioned him to me before."
"I have. I mentioned him to you back when I was driving you and Pinky back to your homes after the storm cleared up."
"You mean the one you borrowed that car from?" Tim nodded his head to BeeBee's question. "Oh...now I remember...where is he anyway?"
"Oh, he's inside right now. But..."
"Tim! Who are you talking to out here?!" Chaz asked as he suddenly walked out of the building, right behind his best friend.
All three fell silent as Chaz exited the building through the opened garage door. The biker stopped in his tracks when he saw the two girls that his best friend was talking to. Obviously, he wasn't the least bit surprised to see that Pinky was one of the girls that he was talking to...however, the same couldn't be said when he took notice of BeeBee. He had no idea who she was the moment that he saw her, let alone why she was wearing a headband with bunny ears on them. Despite his confusion, she seemed to have became a lot more happier upon seeing him.
"Oh...now you must be Chaz. You must be the man who Tim borrowed the car from when he picked me up from the coffee shop." BeeBee said, all of the sudden cheerful. Chaz nodded his head silently, as the girl in pink lets out a chuckle. "Well, my name is BeeBee. I'm one of Pinky's best friends..."
"Unfortunately..." Pinky mutters, before crossing her arms while rolling her eyes.
BeeBee glared at her best friend for a second, before facing forward at the biker once again. "Anyways...we were just making our way to the beauty salon so that we can get our nails done, until...Pinky saw her new friend out here..." She rolled her eyes, then gave her the biker a grin once again. "I'm not all too keen on being friends with Tim, but so far, I'm beginning to like you. You're so cool...not to mention, you're so handsome too..." She giggled to herself for a few seconds, before continuing. "It's a shame that I already have a boyfriend."
"Okay then..." Chaz said as he took a step backwards away from the girl in pink. "Even if you were single, I don't think we would've dated. We only met a few seconds ago."
BeeBee could only shrug in response to what the biker had just said. "Oh well..." She then pointed at her best friend now. "But what about Pinky? For awhile now, she's been trying to find somebody to date...and to me, you seem like somebody that she'd be totally interested in."
"BeeBee, I'm not into him." Pinky said in an irritated tone. "I'm not looking for a man like Chaz, I'm looking for somebody else. Besides, I'm pretty sure Chaz isn't ready to date yet, considering that he and his girlfriend had just broke up a few days ago..."
"Thanks for the thought, Pinky. I appreciate it." Chaz said with a nod of the head. "Although...I'm pretty much ready to finally move on from Summer and date somebody else."
"Really?" The girl in blue asked, feeling rather unsure about this. "I thought you guys broke up about two or three days ago."
"Yeah, but Katie stopped by my house and we talked about me and Summer's relationship. She was rather blunt about a lot of things that I've mentioned, but...at the end of the day, she did end up making me realize that our relationship probably never would've lasted. A bit depressing to hear, but...the more I thought about it, I agree." The biker then leans on the wall behind him. "Although...it's probably going to be difficult for me to find somebody else to fall in love with. I don't think I fell in love with anybody else aside from Summer."
"Well, I hope you find yourself a new girlfriend one of these days." Pinky then turns her head towards Tim in front of her. "I wish we could stay longer, but we should be going right now. I hope I get to see you again one of these days, Tim."
"I hope to see you again too, Pinky." Tim said with a smile.
After their conversation had ended, Chaz and Tim remained standing there as the two girls they were walking away from them. They eventually went back inside the auto-shop building, and went off to do two different things. Chaz went over to one of the nearby stools to sit down, while Tim went over to one of the vending machines to get himself a can of soda. Once he was seated, the biker decided to say something to his best friend about the conversation that they had went through outside.
"I see that you and Pinky are beginning to become friends." Chaz said with a smirk on his face. Tim turns his head towards the biker, nodding his head at what he had just said. "Tell me, dude...and be honest with me on this one...do you like her?"
Tim nodded his head once again. "Yeah." He simply said. "She's a pretty nice person to have as a friend."
"That's not what I meant, dude. I meant do you like her as more than a friend."
"More than a friend? You mean do I see her as my girlfriend?" Chaz silently nodded his head, as Tim reaches into the machine to collect his soda can. "I...don't actually know. I mean, we've stumbled upon each other multiple times after we met her at the mall that one time, and we do seem to enjoy each other's company...maybe except for that one time I told you about Summer cheating on you, which was...probably awkward for us to be meeting up with each other." Tim cringed, before walking over to his best friend. "As for her being my girlfriend...I don't know if she's really into me or not."
"Well, who else would she go out with apart from you?"
"One of the other guys who she went to Simport Prep with, obviously." The blue-haired man went over to one of the stools next to the biker. "Now that I think about it, why are we even talking about me and what girls I want to date anyway? Shouldn't we be talking about who you want to be dating instead?"
"Dude, you know that one of these days, I'm finding you a girl that you'd date."
"Thanks." Tim said with a bit of a chuckle. "But still, let's just stay focused on you right now, dude. Alright?" The biker shrugged his shoulders, before leaning backwards onto the workbench behind him. "Anyways, if you ask me, I think I only know two girls who I can see you with. I believe you know who both of them are."
"Who are they?"
"I believe it's quite obvious, isn't it?" Tim took a sip of his drink. "So...what do you think about Crystal?"
"Crystal?" Chaz raises an eyebrow at his best friend, before scoffing at what his best friend had suggested. "That's funny...Katie and I talked about the idea of me and her dating. With how much me and Crystal hung out, I'm surprised I haven't fell in love with her after some time. I'll probably talk to her about it one of these days." He then rubs his chin, a bit confused about the other girl Tim had mentioned. "Who's the other girl?"
"Well...obviously, I'm talking about Katie?"
"Me and Katie? Dating? Tim, you can't be serious on this one?"
"Well, she seems like everything that you'd like in a girl. She's nice, she's honest, she's cool, and she likes sports. What makes you think that dating her is a bad idea?"
"Well...I never said dating her was a bad idea, but I doubt that her father would actually approve of me dating her." Chaz looks over to the open garage door to his right as he continued to explain this little situation to his friend. "Back when I visited her house, from the looks of it, I could tell that Katie lives in a rather studious household. A household where she's raised on good manners and all of that shit." Chaz turns his head to face Tim once again. "Do you really think that once I ask Katie out, her father is going to be fine with it? I'm pretty sure if I just show up at the house, he's just going to tell me is to get lost."
"So much for thinking you and Katie have a chance." Tim took another sip of his drink. "So...I'm guessing Crystal's who you will be dating next?"
"I'll give it some thought. For now, let's just wait on it." Right after Chaz said that, a car finally pulled into the building. "Oh, well, would you look at that. A customer finally came here. Come on dude, let's get to work."
"Alright." Tim picks up the toolbox on the workbench behind him, as he and Chaz went over to the car to fix it.
Meanwhile...
With Pinky and BeeBee...
Both of them just continued to make their way to Main Street, which was where the beauty salon was...
During their walk however, BeeBee decided that now was a good enough time to feed the rabbit that she had found days prior. She reached into her purse to bring out her pet, all while reaching into her jacket pocket to pull out a carrot that she's been carrying. Pinky glanced over to this...only to instantly realized that the rabbit that her friend is carrying was the exact same one that was brought to both 'Love and Lunch' and the coffee shop. The two girls stopped at the nearest street corner, which was when Pinky lets out an irritated groan.
"Did you seriously have to bring that rabbit with us...again?" Pinky said. "Hasn't that animal caused enough trouble for the both of us?"
"Hey, he's my pet if you haven't noticed. Be more kind to him, Pinky." BeeBee said back at the girl in blue. "You've been a meanie to him ever since that 'Love and Lunch' incident. Don't you think that now you should just let it go?"
"BeeBee, we almost ruined a guy's relationship because you brought that rabbit with us."
"That's irrelevant!" The girl in pink proceeded to feed her pet the carrot. "Besides...why don't we focus on you and that...Tim person you're friends with? Must've we really stopped by to say 'hello' to him?"
"What the heck does THAT mean?"
"Well...seeing his friend, I'd think we'd be better off friends with him way more than that blue-haired loser. His friend was way more handsome than he is...I don't know what you even see in a guy like him."
"Don't you dare say that about Tim! He's a very nice person and you know it!" Pinky then faces forward, before crossing her arms with a blush appearing on her face. "Also...compared to his friend...I think he's...cute..."
"Oh, you can't be serious about that."
"I mean it, BeeBee. I think Tim is cute, and dare I even say...there's been times that I...wish me and him hung out together a little more, rather than stumbling upon each other and just...talking for a few seconds."
BeeBee rolled her eyes hearing all of this being said. "You know what? I think I heard enough out of you for one day." She then turned her back on the girl in blue. "I change my mind on getting my nails done today. I believe that I'm just going to get the done over the weekend instead. I'll be seeing you later." Keeping her back turned from her friend, BeeBee walked off.
"You know, this is exactly why I don't ever talk to you about boys!" Pinky shouts, pointing towards the direction her friend was going. She then rolled her eyes, before walking off to another place in this town.
