Season 4 Episode 5:
(Sam and her temporary team struggle to help the Captain. But Sam doesn't give up. While Conrad starts to fight the control of the chip.).
Conrad was in his cell, they gave him daily rations and necessaries for his stay, so far they couldn't find a way of removing the chip. But for a second he groaned and he then yelled a name. "SAM!" and he then returned into chip control. "Uh no.".
Doc Fraiser was now checking on him. Conrad was very unsure of what happened to him. Sam came running in and she was shocked. Conrad was looking at her. His eyes still red but he was more himself. "What happened?" he asked. Doc Lee then made an assumption. "It appears that the consciousness of the host is fighting for control.". Conrad looked at Lee. "But if that happens, both the host and I shall die.". McKay then made also an assumption. "Maybe that is his plan?". Sam looked at him. "No, Conrad wouldn't do that unless.. … … … unless he knew we can't help him.". Sam then knelt next to him. "I need to speak with my Conrad.". Conrad looked at her. "I'll try.".
Closing his eyes he breathed. He opened them and his eyes were blue. "Sam?" he asked lightly scared. Sam then gave a light sniff. Hugging him she then whispered in his ear. "I thought you were gone.". Conrad then said: "Uhmm, I am. Sam you have to kill me.". Sam didn't want to. "No.". Conrad then cupped her face. "Listen to me, if you don't, they will find us, and they will reset him, then I am good as gone. You have to kill us both.".
His eyes then turned crimson red. "He is right. You can't protect us both, one must die, kill me, spare the host.". Daniel heard of the news and made his way to the holding cell. "Did I miss it?". Conrad nodded. "Sorry Jackson, you did.".
Hammond then had orders to keep Conrad under constant watch. Conrad didn't like the idea but he couldn't fight back. So he just went with the flow. He sat there, he was actually meditating. But he then found himself in the link.
Turning around he saw it was his mistress. Replicator Carter then tilted her head. "Where are you?" she asked. Conrad then crossed his arms. "Far away from you.". Replicator Carter then did something, something that made Conrad's head hurt. She was trying to reset him.
Fighting it he got out of the link, he grabbed the guard's zat gun and shot himself. Once of course. After a few hours he woke up in the infirmary. Sam was asleep on his lap. He noticed she was on her knees on the floor. Her head and arms on him. He lightly winced and moved, waking the angel on his lap. Sam woke up and she seemed to be getting excited but sighed. His eyes were still red.
Jack was playing with a yo-yo. Teel'c was sitting there. Daniel wasn't there. Conrad also saw McKay, Lee, Felger. Sam then held his hand, how do you feel?" she asked. Conrad shrugged. "Like I just ate a bolt of lightning.".
Sam then told him that he stun himself. Conrad nodded. "I know.". Sam kept holding his hand. Conrad, knowing he isn't the real Conrad, just let her so that she would feel better. "They tried to reset me." He said. Sam then held onto his hand even tighter. "I won't let you go." She said. Conrad sighed. "You have to put me in stasis.". Sam knew what that meant. They had to freeze him. She couldn't let that do to him.
But he assured her it is the only option. So, they had to take him to the Alpha site. There was a stasis pod. Conrad was restrained and then shipped to the Alpha site. Placing in the pod, McKay then asked. "I can program some dreams for you. Anything you wish to dream about?" he asked. Conrad, still restrained, shook his head. "I'll be fine.". Shutting his eyes, they froze him. Sam placed a hand on the pod. "Come back to me." She said.
As they left, Sam then went through the things Conrad had. His weapons, clothing, but also something else. She picked it up, it was a signal jammer. She then realized what was going on. He was covering his tracks. She then made a run for the stasis chambers.
While frozen, Conrad's eyes opened and was completely red, they even glowed. The guard then stepped back. The ice started cracking, Conrad then broke out. Choking the guard. He deceived them. Turning around he then saw Sam standing at the door. She couldn't believe she fell for his act. He completely used them. Smiling evilly he spoke in a low, robotic voice.
"You fell for my trap! Now the rest of my brethren will destroy you and replicated this galaxy! The Replicator's Freedom Faction was never an enemy of my mistress, we used Fifth to gain information on you! Now, I will take my place as Leader of the Replicators!".
Sam then threw one of the swords to Conrad. She had the other in her hand. "Not if I can help it.". Conrad picked the sword up, twirling it lightly. He charged, he attacked from high. Sam blocked. They fought with the swords and ended up in different rooms, even the power grid. As Conrad was gonna strike, Sam ducked and one of the Frozen Liquid Nitrogen started spraying. As Conrad was gonna strike, Sam grabbed the cut pipe and sprayed the frozen gas into his face. He screamed and covered his face. But his face healed by itself. Sam then kicked him in the gut.
He stumbled. Did I forget to mention they were standing on a bridge above a thousand foot drop. He stumbled and fell over the railing. Sam then tried to grab him but he fell. Screaming and vanishing out of sight. She stared down, not breathing nor moving.
He's gone, again, no one can survive that fall. But before she could move, Replicators found her, they must've came through the gate while she was fighting him.
They succeeded with resetting him and that's why he broke out of the ice, the stasis gave them the needed time to reset him, now he was gone.
She was thrown in front of her Replicator double. Replicator Carter knelt down. "Where is he?" she demanded. Sam spoke above a whisper, trying to control her emotions. "Gone.". Replicator Carter then stood up. "Find him, I won't believe he is terminated until I see a body.".
Meanwhile, down the thousand foot drop, on a cracked floor, lied a body, a shape of a man is all that is left.
