The next day...

With Katie...

Today was a day that the tomboy didn't have to go to work, as she had the day off. However, her father still had to go to work, and as per usual, he wasn't going to be back home until the start of the evening. Katie didn't really have plans to go out anywhere today, nor did she really have any sort of plans to hang out with either Crystal or Annie at the moment. All in all, it seemed like the tomboy was just going to be enjoying some peace and quiet for the next eight hours.

After Katie did her daily morning routine, she went downstairs and prepared herself some breakfast. She made herself a stack of pancakes with a slice of toast on the side. After making said breakfast, instead of remaining in the dining room, the tomboy decided to go into the living room to eat there, as well as watch some TV in the process. Normally her father would never approve of the idea of eating in the living room, obviously not wanting food to end up on either the couch or the carpet, which to Katie was understandable. However, since her father wasn't home, she decided to go to the living room regardless. She never makes messes whenever she ate her food anyway.

Once seated on the couch, Katie picks up the TV remote off of the coffee table in front of her, then turned the TV on. She looked through the channels to see what was even on at the moment, not seeing anything too good for her to watch while she ate her breakfast. After a couple more seconds had passed, the tomboy stopped flipping through the channels, finally picking a show that she wanted to watch while she ate her meal.

About a half hour had passed by when she had finished her breakfast. After she had ate everything that was on her plate, Katie went to the kitchen and placed the plate into the sink for her father to wash when he gets home. She then collected a can of soda from the refrigerator since she had completely forgotten to get herself a drink to go along with her meal, then headed back to the living room to watch more TV.

Unfortunately, right before she could even sit down, the doorbell rang. She stared forward, a bit annoyed by this, as she wasn't expecting anyone to come over to her house today. Regardless, she went over to the front door to see who was here right now. Upon opening the door, she saw Crystal standing outside on her front doorstep.

"Hey Katie." Crystal said as she entered the house. "Are you busy right now?"

Katie then pointed to the living room, as she followed her best friend to that room. "Not really...I'm just watching 'Family Ties' at the moment." The tomboy simply said. "Anyways, what's up? I'm just here enjoying my day off of work today."

Turning around, Crystal gave her best friend a smirk before explaining to her why she's here. "I feel like today is the day, Katie. I really feel like today is finally going to be the day that I go up to Chaz and ask him out on a date." She then claps her hands together, before she turned her head towards her best friend. "Now...I would just go up to him now, but...like the last time I tried to ask a boy I was interested in...I wanted to invite you along too, just for some support when I actually do it."

"Seriously?! You need me to be by your side for this?!" Crystal then nodded her head to her best friend's question. "Not a chance, dude. I'm enjoying my day-off if you haven't noticed already. Why don't you invite Yuki along with you instead?"

"Well, I could...but the last time I brought Yuki along to hang out with Chaz at his house, she got so annoyed at Tim's dog hat and then attempted to bite his face for it...so yeah, I'm not inviting Yuki along with me on this one..." The rebel girl then pointed at Katie. "So...I'm here to invite along you instead."

Katie just groaned in annoyance, before just accepting what Crystal was telling her. "Whatever...I'll come along with you."

"Awesome."

"So what are we doing at Chaz's house anyway?"

"Well, just sit around his pool for a bit, then have lunch and watch a movie together." Crystal then shrugged his shoulders. "It's usually what we normally do whenever we hang out at his house during the summertime. We mostly do this whenever Summer Baxter was off of work...or we used to whenever she's off work."

"Well, alright then. I don't see anything bad in all of that." Katie nods her head with a smile. "Alright, I'm in."

After that was all said and done, Katie and Crystal exited the house and made their way to the sidewalk. The former pulled out her skateboard out of her backpack, placing it onto the ground, then went off to a different direction than where her best friend was going. Taking immediate notice of this, Crystal stopped in her tracks, instantly confused by where her best friend was off to. Considering the last time she had spoken to Chaz, she'd probably knew that she was going to wrong way.

"Hey Katie! Where are you going?!" Crystal asked her best friend, causing the tomboyish dentist to stop walking. "Chaz's house is this way, not that way!"

"I know, I'm just off to the mall." Katie said back at Crystal. "You know it's been awhile since I have ever been to either the beach or a pool, so I have to collect myself a few things before I could even go and hang out with you guys."

"Right!" Crystal then rolled her eyes. "I forgot that throughout our high school years, you've been busy studying and reading rather than joining me or any of my friends for anything fun."

"Hey, you know throughout that time, I had to remain focused on doing homework, studying for tests, and study on how dentistry works in order to work alongside my dad." The tomboy then pointed to her best friend. "Be grateful I had time to hang out with you at the skatepark." Crystal chuckled a bit, shaking her head at that statement. "Anyways, I'll try to be quick while I'm at the mall. I'll see you when I get there, alright?"

"Alright. I'll see you later, Katie."

Katie took off to go to the mall, leaving Crystal by her lonesome once again. Seeing no reason to stand around and wait, the rebel finally proceeded to turn around and head off to Chaz's house. Unfortunately for her, right before she could even continue to head off, she heard the sound of James's voice coming from across the street. Somehow, she had completely forgotten that that buffoon lives across the street from her best friend.

James ran across the street, approaching Crystal with the love letter from his secret admirer in hand. "Hey! Crystal! I need to ask you something!" The geeky goth shouts as he ran up to the front of the rebel girl.

"Oh crap...what the hell do you want, James?" Crystal asked the goth in an annoyed tone. "If you haven't noticed, I have somewhere to be right now."

"Well, look, I just got this note in my mailbox last night." James then handed the note over to the rebel girl who reads it to herself.

"Okay...this concerns me how exactly?"

"Well, I think it's quite obvious, isn't it?" The goth took the note back, placing it into his jacket as he continued to explain his situation to the rebel. "It's quite clear that this note is from a 'Secret Admirer', and...I'm meeting Ray, Raven, and Violet at the coffee shop so that we can discuss this there, but...since you were near, I was seeing if...well, you were the one who had written it..."

Crystal slowly turned her head towards the geeky goth, raising an eyebrow at him after he had said that. "Really? Of all girls you could assume first, you went with me?" She asked with a scoff. "Why not that Jenny girl you always hang out with?"

"It's not Jenny." He then shook his head as he stared off to the road next to him with a look of disappointment. "Besides...she already believes that a note I gave her is from a 'Secret Admirer' already, all because I forgotten to place my name on it...and believes that it's somebody else."

"Well, it's not me. No way would I even think about dating somebody like you, chump." Crystal then pushes the man aside, before walking passed him. "Besides, I have plans on dating Chaz. Today is going to be the day that I finally ask him out."

"Really? You're going to ask him out?" Crystal nodded her head at the geeky goth's question. "Right...I forgot that Chaz and Summer broke up days ago...not that I care whatsoever."

"What the hell does that suppose to mean?" Crystal asked, a bit angered that James is showing no remorse for what had happened to her best friend. "If you don't remember, dude...Summer cheated on him, then dumped him for the bastard that she cheated on him with!"

"I know...but I can't help but remember that asshole, as well as his bitch girlfriend, bullied me and Jenny a lot throughout our time in high school. You think I should feel sorry for him after all the bullshit that those two have done to us?"

"You're lucky I don't have time to shove you into a nearby trash-bin, asshole." Crystal then pushes the goth out of the way, before continuing to walk away, flipping him off in the process.

"Whatever..." James muttered before walking off to the coffee shop to meet up with his friends.

Meanwhile...

With Tim...

Just like Crystal and Katie, he was making his way over to his best friend's house. He had already finished up a couple things that he needed to do at home, so now he had to walk his way over to where his best friend lived. Thankfully, by walk or by car, the biker's house wasn't exactly far from his house.

As he was walking along the sidewalk, Tim turned right on the corner of the block that he was on...only to accidentally bump into somebody who had happened to be walking from that direction. Neither he or the person he had bumped into had fallen to the ground after that, both of them thankfully kept their composure after they had collided into each other. Right before Tim could even get the chance to ask the person he bumped into if they were alright, he immediately recognized who he had bumped into. The person he had bumped into was, of course, Pinky.

"Pinky, hey!" Tim said with a smile. "Wow...I feel like this is always going to be how we run into each other."

Pinky chuckled at her new friend's words. "Yeah...you're probably right." She said, before placing her hands in the pockets of the jacket she was wearing. "Anyways, where are you heading off to? I thought you'd be at the auto-shop today."

"No. Me and Chaz have the day off today." Tim then pointed at himself. "I'm going off to hang out with him at his house, as well as our friend Crystal...you know, the girl we were with back when we met each other at the mall?"

"Yeah, I know."

"Hey...um...I guess since I have...stumbled into you, do you want to come along to hang out with us?" The blue-haired man asked, rather sheepishly. "I doubt Chaz will mind me inviting you to hang out with us."

When this was asked, Pinky's smile slowly became a discouraged frown. "Oh no...Tim, I'm so sorry. I can't." She sighed. "I have to go to work today."

Tim then frowned hearing that said. "Oh..." He simply said in a depressed tone of voice. "...Alright then."

"However...it's not all bad." A smile appeared on her face once again as she pulled out a pen and a piece of paper from her pockets. "Since I won't be able to hang out with you right now, I will be free to hang out with you later on tonight. I don't have any sort of plans to hang out with BeeBee or any of my other friends after work, so...that allows me to invite you over to my house instead." She then wrote something down onto the small paper, before handing it over to the blue-haired man. "Here's the address to my house. I will see you tonight, Tim."

"Um...thanks." He then places the paper into his pocket. "What shall we be doing tonight?"

"Well, I was just going to make us some dinner tonight, and then maybe we can watch a movie together."

"Funny...I was planning on heading off to Gino's Pizzeria later tonight while Chaz heads off to Club Candy." Pinky then frowned hearing that, believing that Tim was turning down her invite. It wasn't until he smiled that the girl in blue felt more reassured. "Oh well...I doubt later on, I would've wanted to handle going out there to deal with traffic anyway."

"That's great. I can't wait to see you tonight." Pinky then pats Tim on his shoulder, giving him a smile. "I'm really starting to like you, Tim. I genuinely wish that you were one of the students who had came to Simport Prep years ago." She then glanced down at the time on her phone. "Anyway, I should probably get going now. Don't forget about coming over."

"I won't." After that, Pinky ran off to go to her job while Tim continued to head off to his best friend's house.
