At the coffee shop...

Moments after his talk with Crystal, he walked all the way to the coffee shop to meet up with the rest of his friends. Upon arriving however, the only people who had arrived there were Violet along with her boyfriend Ghostly. He was expecting Ray and Raven to have already been there waiting for him, but was quite surprised to discover that they were running a bit late to get here. He wasn't sure why they were running late, even Ghostly and Violet seemed baffled about this too. Whatever they were doing, the group just hopes that the goth couple won't take too much longer to get here.

While they continued to wait, James decided to take this time to text Sapphire to inform her about his current situation. He sent a text to her, telling her all about the love letter that he had received yesterday and that he might have an actual secret admirer of his own. Unfortunately for him, after about twenty minutes passed him by, Sapphire had never responded to him. To him, this was rather odd, since throughout this whole ordeal, the girl seemed to have been completely willing to help him out with everything involving the situation involving him and Jenny. Of course of all times that Sapphire finally decided to stop pestering the geeky goth, it was right when the situation was just getting worse. James still hopes that she's still helping him try to get Jenny as his girlfriend somehow.

Eventually, Ray and Raven finally arrived at the coffee shop together to meet up with the rest of the gang. When they saw their three friends over at one of the booth tables, they immediately went over to where they were at and sat down along with them. The goth couple took the side of the booth table where James was sitting at. Once the couple was seated, James decided to speak first.

"Hey, there you guys are. We were wondering where you guys were." James told them. "What took you guys so long to get here?"

"My dad wanted me to do something for him before I left. He wanted me to bring some boxes to his car since he's going to be out of town for the weekend to visit a family member down in Boston." Ray explained to his friends. "I could've went along with him, but I have plans this Friday, and...I didn't want to leave Raven behind, so...I chose to stay here with you guys instead." Raven blushes with a giggle, before kissing her boyfriend on the cheek. It was at this moment, Ray took notice of Ghostly being at the table with them. "Hey, I didn't expect you being here, Ghostly."

"Well...I didn't have work at either Gino's Pizzeria, the construction site, or the junkyard today...and Buddy is busy at his job right now, so...I decided to hang out with Violet right now." Ghostly told the couple, before taking a sip of the drink he had bought for himself during their wait. "We were talking about going someplace in the town until James texted my girlfriend, wanting to talk about something that's important."

"Speaking of which, why exactly did you call us out here for, James?" Violet asked, now turning her head towards the geeky goth.

"I was just about to get to that." James said.

James reached into his jacket, then pulled it the love letter that he had previously received yesterday night. Since he was sitting right next to him, the geeky goth decided to first hand the love letter over to Ray so that he and Raven could read it to themselves together. Just like he was, Ray and Raven were shocked to be reading this letter. Afterwards, they handed the love letter over to Ghostly and Violet across the table from them so that they can now read it to themselves. Violet was just as surprised as her other friends, but Ghostly however, didn't seem all too shocked to be discovering this letter...instead, he seemed rather confused.

"Wait...what exactly is the problem here?" Ghostly asked James, feeling completely lost in this situation.

"So...there's this girl that I'm best friends with...her name's Jenny...let's just say a misunderstanding happened between us days ago, and...because I placed a letter in her mailbox revealing my true feelings for her, while forgetting to put my name down onto it...now she believes that he has a secret admirer..." James explains to the blue-haired goth across the table. Violet hands the love letter back over to the geeky goth, who continued to explain his little situation some more. "However, it seems like I have a secret admirer of my own, and even worse, I have no idea who they are."

"Did you ever thought that it was Jenny?" Ghostly asked him.

"It's not Jenny." James said as he placed the love letter into his jacket again. "Jenny's never shy when it comes to revealing her true feelings about anyone or anything."

"Could've it been one of the other goths? Considering how much you try to hang out with them, surely one of them has to be your secret admirer."

James shook his head to Ghostly's assumption. "The only goths girls who I ever talked are Violet, Raven, Crystal, and Yuki...and it's none of them." The geeky goth turned his head towards the goth couple to his left. "Violet and Raven already have boyfriends...Crystal hates me...and Yuki both has a boyfriend and she hates me. So it's literately none of them."

"Did you talk to Sapphire about this?" Ray asked his best friend. "Surely something like this didn't escape her notice how much she's been eager to help anyone with romance."

"I tried texting her, but for some reason, she's not getting back to me about it. Club Candy's closed at the moment, so normally, she should be able to talk now." James glanced down at his phone, before sighing. "I really don't know why she's not even answering."

"She's probably just busy hanging out with her girlfriend, or maybe even Zack."

James had forgotten that her hanging out with her two other friends was also be a possibility why Sapphire isn't responding to him. From the day that she had met Candy and Zack at one of the clubs here in this town, those three have been inseparable ever since, almost as if they see each other and treat each other like family. But even then, despite that, James still felt like something wasn't right here. Even if she's hanging out with her two other friends, Sapphire is able to help out anyone with romance problems regardless. Still feeling baffled with what's going on with Sapphire, James felt like it was best to stop by her house to see if everything was okay with her.

"So, now what?" Raven asked, finally breaking the silence between the five of them once again. "Sapphire helping or not, there's still the fact that James has to meet up with this secret admirer of his at the movie theater this weekend. What are we going to do about that?"

"I...really don't know right now..." James said with a sigh, before looking over to the window on his right. "But whatever happens, I just hope Sapphire helps me out on this one."

"We hope so too, James." Ray told his best friend while patting his back in comfort. "Me and Raven always imagined that you'd end up with Jenny one day."

"Yeah." Raven said with a nod, agreeing with her boyfriend.

"Thanks for the encouragement, guys." James told them, before pulling out the love letter from his jacket to look at it once again. "I still don't know about going and meeting this secret admirer that I apparently have...I'm hoping to meet up with Sapphire later on so that she can hopefully help sort all of this out with me." He sighed one last time, before looking ahead of himself at Violet and Ghostly across the table. "I...think this emergency meeting is done now. I'm sorry if I interrupted anything that you two were planning to do today."

"It's fine, James. Me and Ghostly hope everything turns out right in the end for you." Violet said as she stood up from the table. "Anyways, we probably should be going now."

Ghostly then waves at James. "It was nice talking to you, James." The blue-haired goth said, before following his girlfriend out of the building.

"Well...I guess that leaves us now..." Ray said as he and his girlfriend stood up from the table. "You want to hang out with us for awhile, man?"

"I guess. Sure." James said, as he followed Ray and Raven out of the building.

Back at Chaz's house...

So far, it seems like things were rather mellow from the looks of it. All four of them were doing different things throughout the passed twenty minutes of them being out here. Katie was still just sunbathing, Chaz was sitting by the edge of the pool, Tim was just sitting in one of the lawn chairs staring at the address Pinky had given him moments ago, while Crystal was still in the pool shed. The radio was now playing the song 'Cooler than Me' by Mike Posner. All in all, the small hangout was pretty much calm and relaxing at the moment.

While Chaz was just sitting there, he couldn't help but stare at his pool shed. Crystal has yet to come out of there, and the only thing that Tim told him about that was that the rebel girl was alone so she could ask him something. What she needed to ask him about was something that he had no clue about. The biker was wanting to go over to the shed to see if she needed anything, but chose not to, since he knew whenever Crystal has to think about something alone, he rather let her be. Regardless, he just hopes that she doesn't end up spending the entire day in the pool shed.

Chaz then turned her head towards where Katie was. Usually, before his breakup with her, he would normally see Summer sitting over there on occasions whenever they had hangouts like this. It was somewhat depressing seeing her not in that chair, but remembering what she did days prior, he felt like it was better this way. Not to mention, he was starting to like Katie a lot better than her nowadays. Now that he was thinking about it some more, Chaz immediately realized that Katie hadn't moved an inch throughout the entire time she was out here. He stood and up and decided to check up on her to see if everything was alright.

"Hey Kate! You okay over here?!" Chaz asked as he approached the secondary beach-chair, sitting next to the one the tomboy was sitting in. The only thing he got in response was the sound of her snoring, confirming to him that the tomboy had fallen asleep while over here. "Katie! Wake up, dude!" Chaz said a little louder this time, causing the girl to wake up.

"What the..." Katie mutters as her eyes slowly opened. She looked over to the biker sitting next to her, then sat up out of her chair. "Oh damn...I forgotten that I was here..." She then rubs her forehead, letting out a bit of an awkward chuckle. "I guess that's another reason why I don't go to the beach or the pool anymore. Not only can I not swim, but I always end up falling asleep whenever I try to sunbathe."

"No need to be embarrassed about that, dude. I did the exact same thing just last year." Chaz chuckles a bit, before leaning forward onto his own knees, proceeding to explain what had happened during his last hangout with his friends. "I was laying on the chair next to you...or in other words, the one that I'm sitting on right now...and after about ten minutes, I was out like a light. Tim told me that while I was asleep, Crystal and Summer were both arguing how they were going to even wake me up. Summer kept on suggesting that they'd shout loud enough for me to wake up, while Crystal suggest pushing the beach-chair I was in into the pool." He then rolled his eyes, scoffing out a bit of a chuckle. "Both of them couldn't decide what's the better option, so Tim decided to just pat me on the shoulder to wake me up instead."

Katie raises an eyebrow at the biker, taking notice of something that he had just said. "Wait...you were able to have both Summer and Crystal at your hangouts here?"

"Yeah, I was able to."

"But those two hate each other."

"Well, yeah, but Summer was my girlfriend and Crystal is one of my closest friends. I couldn't just turn down one of them from coming here." Chaz then turned his head towards the pool shed at the other side of his backyard for a few minutes, before he suddenly remembered something. He turned his head towards the tomboy once again, before pointing at her. "Hey, I just realized something...I remembered that you and Summer had became friend-ish back when Crystal had invited us over to your house that one time. I don't know if you have or not, but have you spoken to her ever since you've discovered about the breakup?"

"No, we haven't." Katie simply said with a shrug. "We haven't encountered each other anywhere in either the neighborhood or town, nor did she ever stop by the house to talk. She never even called or texted me at all after you guys first visited my house." She sighed, before laying back down onto the beach-chair she was sitting on. "Not that I really care about that though. As far as I'm concerned, I don't want to be friends with her after she cheated on you."

"Damn...sorry to hear about that, Kate. It really seemed like you and her were going to be friends."

"Honestly, I thought so too. She seemed pretty nice to me when I was talking with her in my dining room." Katie then scoffs to herself, having to remember the only conversation that she ever had with Summer. "I'll tell you this...I find it ironic how I ended up hating her a lot more than you."

Hearing that caused Chaz to raise an eyebrow at his new friend. "You still hate me?"

Katie slowly turned her head towards where Chaz was, before sitting up and turning to face him. "Well...I used to, considering how we first met...but after awhile, I guess I don't really hate you all that much anymore." She then scoffs out a bit of a chuckle, before continuing to talk. "I guess in hindsight, Summer was right about one thing...I would've ended liking you someday, and now here I am...friends with you..."

All that Chaz could do after hearing this said was just stand up from his chair, giving the tomboy a smirk. "Well...I knew one of these days you'd end up having a liking for me, Princess."

Katie's smile instantly became a frown once again. "By the way, dude...never call me 'Princess'...you're just asking me to kick your ass just by calling me that alone."

"Fine, whatever." Chaz then walks passed the tomboy's beach-chair, before looking behind himself. "By the way, I'm going to get myself a drink. Do you want anything?"

"I'll just take whatever soda you have in that cooler is fine."

"Okay...so Mountain Dew, I guess?"

"Yeah. That's fine."

"Awesome. I'll be right back then." Chaz then headed over to the cooler, while Katie just remained where she was.
