A/N Hope you like this! I worked hard lol and please don't judge me?
Sophie was laying on her bed, trying not to think, when a ding interrupted her. She picked up the phone that Dex had made for her as an end-of-year gift and saw that she had received a text from "Lord HunkyHair", the name Keefe had entered his number as into her phone.
You up? it read.
She sent back a Yea and waited. Seconds later, another ding. Keefe was always quick to respond.
I miss u

What was the sigh for?
A lot of things
Such as?

Keefe?!
No answer. Well, okay then. He could get himself killed. Not like she cared anyway. Oh, who was she kidding? She totally cared. Just not enough to get up and help him. This was his idea.
As promised, five minutes later, Keefe burst into her room and barred the door behind him with his desk chair, just in case.
"Hey, you made it!"
"Did you honestly think I wouldn't? I'm an expert! I wasn't even seen!"
"I was scared for a minute when that thing downstairs crashed. Wait, how were you not seen?"
"Um, I'm sneaky?"
"Sure, sure, you keep telling yourself that."
"Excuse me?"
"Anyway, I have something I wish to discuss with you." she unintentionally slipped into a bit of a British accent, like she did when she was being overly formal.
"Do you now?" He sat next to her on her bed.
"Yes. Do you really think everyone hates you?"
"I didn't say everyone. I said most."
"You know, I think it's just that most haven't met you properly."
"Oh?"
"Yeah. Like they have to get to know you before deciding if they like you."
"I liked you from the beginning."
"Sure you did."
"Yeah. You were always so different. Pretty, and way smarter than me. And, of course, you were blasting your emotions at me. You really wear your heart on your sleeve, you know that?"
"I know, believe me."
"Speaking of, are you okay?!"
"Yeah...?"
"Um, yeah that was a lie."
"I hate empaths," she grumbled.
Ignoring that comment, Keefe continued. "I need to cheer you up! What normally makes you happy..." He seemed deep in thought. "I know! Here, let's use my crystal." He dug out his home crystal from the neckline of his tunic.
"We're going to your house...?"
"Uh huh. I have a plan. Feel up to light leaping?
