Penelope was driving the four hours that took to get to the hotel where Derek's mother was going to renew her vows. Jackie had invited her to her wedding that weekend and Penelope had promised to go. She was staying that Friday night and Saturday night. Penelope had to drive back on Sunday cause she had a lot of things to do with her company.

She finally arrived at 4pm and she had an hour to change for the rehearsal dinner. When she arrived, she parked the car and grabbed her things. She had texted Derek cause she knew Jackie would be too busy and she didn't want to interrupt. After she parked her car, she noticed him walking out of the hotel and she smiled. He looked so sexy and handsome.

Damn she missed him a lot.

"Baby girl!" Derek smiled as he walked towards her.

"Hey you!" She smiled as she got out of the car and grabbed her small luggage.

"Wow you look great!" He said eyeing her up and down.

"Thanks."

"I bet you're exhausted." He said and grabbed her luggage for her.

"I am but I have an hour to get dressed for the dinner." She said as she walked next to him.

"Yea. Come on." He said and she followed him to the elevators and then went to the sixth floor. "This is our room."

"Oh." She stopped by the door looking at the small suite and the queen size bed. "We're sharing?" she asked surprised.

"Yes. Mom decided it would be fun for us to share a room." Derek smiled.

"Um okay," she smiled unsure.

"Is that okay with you? I can call her." Derek said when he saw Penelope's reaction.

"No. Derek it's fine. I promise. It's just, I didn't expect this but it'll be fun."

Derek smiled and put her things on her side of the bed. "I'll leave you to get dressed and I'll meet you downstairs in the lobby so we can go together."

"Okay thanks." She smiled and watched him leave the room.

Holy shit. Why the fuck are they sharing a room and why the fuck is there only one bed? Ugh she had to stop over thinking it and went to take a shower. Forty-five minutes later, she walked out of the elevators and saw Derek speaking with a few people.

"Wow Penelope you look beautiful." He smiled and noticed how amazing her legs looked in that dress.

"Thank you!" She smiled and followed him to a golf cart waiting for them and got in it.

It took them 5 minutes to get to the location and people were still arriving.

"Wow the tables are decorated beautifully!" Penelope smiled as she looked at the tent and the decorations.

"Yea mom went all out but within budget of course." He chuckled.

Penelope laughed softly. "Of course."

"Penelope you made it!" Jackie said happily and hugged her. "Thank you for coming."

"Are you kidding me? You think I'd miss this?" Penelope smiled and hugged her back. "Congrats again!"

"Thanks honey!" Jackie smiled. "I have to keep mingling but…"

"Oh no Jackie go and do your thing!"

"I'll see you later." Jackie smiled kissed her son and left.

"She's been like that since I arrived." Derek chuckled as he led them to the building next to the tent and there they were going to do the rehearsal dinner.

"I'm sure it's stressful sometimes." Penelope said.

"Yea it is."

Drinks were served non-stop while the food kept coming. Penelope was happy because she was having a great time with her best friend and his sisters.

Hours passed and things were going great. Penelope watched Derek mingle with people and she couldn't help but admire his awesome personality and how much he had change in the years they had been friends. He looked so hot and sexy and confident and damn she needed to stop thinking like that or she would embarrass herself.

"You having fun?" Jackie asked.

Penelope snapped out of it and looked at Jackie. "So much fun. Thank you!"

"Great." Jackie smiled and walked away.

Penelope sighed. She needed to get through this weekend and move on from her apparent sexual attraction towards her best friend. She knew she shouldn't be feeling like this and it was the real reason why she barely spoke to him. Every time she was around him she would get like this. Ugh she hated acting like such a horny slut. She was so thankful he never knew how she felt or she would definitely be embarrassed.

It was 1:30am when they finally got to their room.

Penelope started to remove her dress but then realized he was watching her and stopped. "Sorry," she smiled.

"It's okay Penelope." He said.

"It's just things aren't like before. You know?" she asked. "I forgot how comfortable I was changing in front of you."

"Yea I know."

"I'll change in the bathroom and you can change out here." She said and walked to the bathroom and locked the door and took a deep breath. She knew she was being stupid but the alcohol she consumed that night wasn't helping things either. Fuck she was so turned on and she wanted more than anything to have him take her in any way and have his way with her.

Derek changed into boxers and a t-shirt and when she walked out of the bathroom his eyes widened. "Holy shit Penelope." He got under the covers just as his dick was hardening. What the fuck? He was shocked at what she wore and he was shocked at his body's reaction.

"Shut up Morgan. I thought I was sleeping alone. I didn't bring anything else." She explained her sexy lingerie.

"You look… wow I forgot how sexy you are." He said eyeing her exposed but covered crotch.

"Um thanks." She said and got on her side of the bed. She was so thankful the bed was at least queen sized so there was some space between them.

"Good night baby girl." He said softly.

"Night Hot stuff." She said.
