Today's The Day - Part 2.
Standing in the Queen's office doorway later that morning, Joseph watched Clarisse a moment as she signed one of the few documents she had on the desk in front of her. She looked so elegant, so regal and oh so very beautiful sitting there at her desk, concentrating on getting her paperwork finished. So much so that she didn't even notice her aide, Sasha, leave, or Joseph entering her office and closing the door behind himself.
It was only when he turned the lock and began making his way towards her desk did she finally look up. "Hello, is it that time already," she exclaimed while removing her glasses and placed them, along with her pen in her other hand, down on her desk and pushed her seat out to get to her feet before checking the time on her watch. "No, it's not, you are early," she smiled and looked back up at him walking around behind her desk without saying a word. "Joseph?"
Stepping close to her, Joseph put his hands up onto the sides of her neck, with his thumbs resting against her jaw, and looked deep into her gorgeous blue sparkling eyes a moment. "Are you okay?" Clarisse asked softly as she put her hands on his sides and studied his face.
Smiling in response, he tilted his head slightly to the side and took her lips in a hungry kiss as she closed her eyes and melted against him. He had missed her this last two weeks, missed absolutely everything about her, including the smell of her perfume, which was now very quickly intoxicating his senses and to have her there in front of him now, her body melting against his felt so good, so perfect, so arousing. He had to use all the willpower he had in him, to stop himself from taking her right there on her desk.
Breaking the kiss a moment later, Joseph rested his forehead against hers and smiled, "you taste of sweet strawberries."
"Mhmm," Clarisse nodded, "I have been snacking on them this morning," she said as she glanced to the now empty bowl on her desk and looked back up at him as his hands smoothed from her neck onto her shoulders and slowly down her arm's.
"Tastes delicious," he smiled and kissed her a couple quick time's while slipping his hands under her blazer and onto her hips, giving them a gentle squeeze, "I have missed you."
"I have missed you too," Clarisse smiled and took her bottom lip between her teeth as Joseph wrapped both of his arm's around her waist, holding her soft body against his hard body. "Are Harry and Sabrina here too?" She asked.
"No, not yet," Joseph said with a shake of his head as Clarisse raised her arm's and snaked them round his neck. "They don't land until noon, so I thought if you were ready we could go to pick them up together and surprise them."
"Well I still have a few documents that I need to finish, but that won't take me long," she smiled as she grasped the back of his head with one of her hands while studying his face. "Then I'll need to get changed of course."
"No you don't, just go in what you're wearing," he smiled and looked into her beautiful desire filled eyes as he smoothed his hands up her back, "you'll only change again when we get there so there's no point in doing it now."
"Alright," she smiled. Her pulse was racing, her heart fluttering and her stomach was somersaulting like crazy. She had really missed him this last few week's and she simply couldn't wait until they were away from the palace and could be alone. "I'll wait until we get there then," she said and glanced down at his delicious lips. Only then did she notice that he had grown his beard. "You grew your beard again," she exclaimed in surprise while smoothing her hand from the back of his head to cup his face.
"I have, for you of course," he said and half smiled as he smoothed his hands slowly back down her back.
"Why thank you," she laughed and wrapped her arm back around his neck as he cupped her bottom and gave it a little squeeze before he took her lips in another hungry kiss.
Pulling his head back a moment later, he shook his head and turned to look across the room. "I need to stop this now, and you need to finish your paperwork," he said and kissed her a couple quick times, "have you packed?"
"Yes, I have," she nodded with a smile and pointed over to the door as they pulled apart a little, "I'm all packed and ready to go, once I'm done with the paperwork of course," she smiled and watched as he looked to the door and her case sitting beside it.
"Ok, good, I just need to grab a couple bits from my suite then I'll be ready to go too," he said while looking back at her and put both his hands up onto the sides of her neck once again. "Oh god Clarisse, I can not wait to get you alone later, I'm going to make love to you like never before."
"Oh, is that a promise," she asked, taking herself, and Joseph, by surprise.
"Oh, its a promise alright," he smirked and kissed her one more time while smoothing his hands down her arm's, "now come on," he said, reluctantly breaking the kiss and giving her bottom a quick slap, making laugh in the process, "on with the paperwork, or we will end up being late picking up Harry and Sabrina."
"Ok," Clarisse smiled and turned back to her desk as Joseph walked over to the door, unlocking and opening it, just as Addie was about to knock on it.
"Oh hello," Addie exclaimed in surprise to see Joseph stood looking at her. "You're not meant to be here yet."
"Oh it's nice to see you too, Addie," Joseph teased and laughed with a shake of his head.
"You know what I mean, it was a surprise to see you open the door, that's all," Addie smiled as Joseph nodded.
"I know, and I wasn't meant to be but there was a change of plan," Joseph smiled and stepped aside, letting her pass through into the office.
"I see," Addie said as she stopped and turned to him, watching him as he moved to stand in the doorway.
"I just remembered something," Joseph said as he turned and looked over at Clarisse still standing behind her desk watching them. "I hope you have remembered to pack your bikini, because you're going to need it while we are away."
Laughing, Clarisse placed one hand down on the desk in front of her and pressed her other hand against her stomach as it somersaulted. "What bikini?" She smiled seductively.
"Oh you know exactly what bikini I'm talking about," he smiled as he gave her an amorous glance.
"I can't imagine you wearing a bikini," Addie smiled and walked over to the desk as Clarisse laughed with a shake of her head while looking down at her desk. "I thought you more of a costume type of person."
"That's because I am," Clarisse said as she looked up at her sister before looking across to Joseph, who was stood smirking in the doorway.
"Oh for me she wears a bikini," he winked as Addie looked over at him too. "Will you remember to bring it, for me," he asked quietly while tipping his head slightly to the side and watched as she bit her bottom lip and discreetly bowed her head to him. "Thank you," he mouthed before watching her look back down at her desk as a breath hitched in her throat. "Alright, I'm gonna run up to my suite, see you in a little bit."
"Ok," Clarisse nodded as she looked back up and watched him walk away before looking at her sister standing in front of her desk. "Hello, what do I owe this pleasure today?" She smiled. "I thought you were going shopping with Elaina."
"We are, but she had to bring something in for Lyle," Addie said as she sat down in one of the chairs opposite her sister's desk, "so I thought while she was doing that, I would pop in and say hello."
"But Lyle isn't on duty today," Clarisse said as she sat back behind her desk.
"Oh yes he's not, but he had something that one of the other guy's needed so she was dropping it off for him," Addie smiled.
"Ah, ok," Clarisse said and slipped her glasses back on. "Now darling, I'm not being rude but I really need to get on with this paperwork, or I won't get it finished in time."
"Oh sure, you carry on," Addie smiled as she watched her pick up her pen and look down at the document in front of her.
"Thank you," Clarisse smiled up at her and set to work finishing the last few documents she had left to do.
"We wouldn't want to make you late for your 'dirty weekend' away now, would we?" Addie teased as Clarisse averted her gaze up to her before lifting her head.
"I'm sorry," Clarisse said and laughed apprehensively as she shook her head and looked back down at her desk in shock.
"You know, it's a weekend where you go away in secret with your lover and spend the whole-,"
"Yes, Adalyn, I know what it means," Clarisse interrupted as she glanced across the desk at her before resting her elbow down on her desk and put her hand up to press her fingers to her forehead. She may be a Queen, but of course she knew what her sister meant, and the idea of her weekend away with Joseph having that type of label not only excited her, but made her nervous too.
Excited that, even though they would be spending the weekend with Harry and Sabrina too, they could be open with their feelings around them, be together, touch and kiss, and not have to worry. Nervous, because she was worried what people, the few who did know about them, especially her son's and Rupert, thought about this weekend away. She had been looking forward to it ever since Joseph mentioned it when he was in hospital, it was something that the both of them could look forward to. But now she was worried about what people might think.
"I wouldn't worry about it though," Addie said, as if she sensed her sister's worry, and watched as Clarisse looked back up at her, "go, enjoy yourself and make sure you have lots and lots of - fun. I know I would," she smiled as Clarisse laughed.
Arriving at the airport later and seeing Harry and Sabrina stood next to a free pick up space, Joseph pulled up along side them and shut of the engine as Clarisse opened her door and jumped out to greet Sabrina. "Be careful," Joseph exclaimed after her and laughed with a small shake of his head as he climbed from the car and hurried around to them.
"Hello," Joseph said as Harry turned to him, "hope you haven't been waiting long."
"Only a few minutes," Harry said as they stepped closer to one another and shared a man hug before pulling apart and turning to Clarisse and Sabrina who were still stood embraced in a hug.
"Shall we load the boot up and be on our way, before Clarisse gets noticed," Joseph said as he and Harry looked back at one another.
"Yes, good idea," Harry said as they both grabbed the bags from the curb side and put them in the trunk of the car before moving back around to where Clarisse and Sabrina stood now pulled apart and talking.
"Shall we get on the road?" Joseph said and smiled as they both turned to him and Harry. "Hello, by the way."
"Hello darling," Sabrina smiled and gave Joseph a hug, as Harry and Clarisse greeted each other.
"Did you have a good flight?" Joseph asked as they pulled apart and he moved closer to the car, to open the back door for her.
"We did yes, very smooth," Sabrina nodded and climbed in the back as Harry walked around the other side of the car and climbed in beside her, "thank you, Joe."
"No problem," Joseph smiled while closing the door up behind her and turned to Clarisse as she looked up at him. "Are you alright?" He asked, stepping closer to her.
"Yes, of course," she smiled and slipped her sunglasses from her face onto the top of her head before climbing back into the passenger seat.
Smiling, Joseph closed up her door before hurrying back around the car and climbing back into the drivers seat. "Next stop, our home for the next few days," he said as he buckled his seatbelt and started the car.
"Yes," both Sabrina and Clarisse exclaimed happily as they pulled out of the parking space.
"Think the women are excited, Joe," Harry laughed as Clarisse briefly glanced back at him and Sabrina sitting in the back seat before looking at Joseph.
"I think so too," Joseph nodded in agreement.
"Of course we are," Clarisse said while turning her body in the seat so she was facing Joseph, and so she could see better in the back, and brought her knees up onto the seat. "We are all going to have the best time."
"We are and we can't wait," Sabrina exclaimed excitedly.
"Us too," Clarisse smiled at her friend before looking back at Joseph, concentrating on the road. "Are you going to tell me yet where we are going?" She asked.
"Nope," Joseph smirked, his gaze remaining on the road. "You are going to have to wait until we get there, just like Harry and Sabrina," he said and quickly glanced at her while reaching one hand out, placing it on her knee as his other hand remained on the steering wheel.
"That's not fair," Clarisse smiled as Joseph laughed a little.
"Well wherever it is, we will have to go to the store when we get there, to get a few bits," Harry said.
"Oh yes, we gotta get us some tequila too," Sabrina smiled as Clarisse looked back at her.
"Already taken care of," Joseph smirked and could see, from the corner of his eye, Clarisse turning her head to look back at him.
"What do you mean it's already taken care of?" Clarisse asked, her stomach filling with butterflies as Joseph began to caress the front of her knee with his thumb.
"Well that was what I was talking about earlier with Addie, the change of plan," Joseph smirked and gave her a quick glance before looking back at the road. "I actually flew back yesterday, had Lyle meet me at the airport and we drove up to where we are staying. He helped me prepare the rooms for our arrival, even came to the store with me to get some shopping in, you know like food, drinks, that kind of thing."
"Oh, that was sneaky and would explain why you were back earlier this morning," Clarisse said as she put her hand down on top of his resting on her knee.
"Yes, see, but I had a motive," Joseph smiled while turning his hand under hers and took hold of it, "by doing all that before our arrival now means that we have more time for fun, and more time spent together," he said, lifting her hand to his mouth and kissed the back of it as Harry and Sabrina looked at each other in the back seat.
