Avatar: Fire and Water

Zuko's father, Firelord Ozai, believes that Katara is the chosen one. The one who will protect the world. He also believes that she has a special power no one understands, not even Katara. In the middle of it all, Zuko and Katara grow feelings for each other. They have to keep it a secret for with their combined power, they are able to stop Ozai's terrible plan of ruling the world.

6. Katara Gone

Chapter 6: Katara Gone

Zuko runs into the room Katara should be in. "No!" Aang runs in followed by Sokka and Toph. "Where is she?!" exclaims Sokka. Zuko falls to his knees. "I don't know." Toph puts a hand on his shoulder. "We'll find her," she states. "Why are you comforting him instead of me?! She's my sister!" exclaims Sokka. Zuko glares at him. Aang steps in between the two and leads Sokka out. Zuko hugs Toph. Toph hugs back. "What's this?" asked Toph, bending down and picking up a spear-arrow-looking thing. Zuko gasped. He grabs it and walks out. "I don't know where Katara is but I know who took her." He holds up the dagger arrow thing and shows everyone. "Mai." Aang gasped. "Is that bad?" he asked. "I don't know," he replied, looking at him. Zuko walks away from the tent and finds footprints. "Footprints." Sokka and Aang run over and Toph follows closely behind. "We should follow them."

"What do you want, Mai?" asked Katara. "Zuko. You made Zuko betray me. He left me… and now I want revenge," said Mai. She threw a dagger at her. Luckily she never meant to hit her. It hit the wall right next to her ear. It was so close Katara could almost feel it. "Next time that will end up right between your eyes," said Mai. Ty Lee walked in with Azula close behind. "Where did you put my brother?" asked Azula. "Nowhere. He came with me because he wanted to," responded Katara. Azula threw a fireball right above her head. "Liar! Where is he?!" "If you don't know, I'm not telling you," said Katara. "I'm going to count to three. If you don't tell me where my brother is, I'm going to give you a burn identical to his. One..." said Azula. Katara just glared at her. "Two…" She still didn't talk. "Enough. Azula, don't be so cruel. That will be the last punishment we'll use," said Firelord Ozai as he walked in. "Katara!" shouted Zuko. Katara closed her eyes. She could hear him yet he was two days away. "Zuko…" she replied. He could hear her. Katara's eyes snapped open when Azula threw another fireball above her head. She looked up and Ozai and Ty Lee were gone. Azula and Mai remained.
