Chapter 7: Finding Katara
Zuko gasped. "The moon water!" Zuko. Aang, Toph, and Sokka had been traveling for a few days now. They were only a day away. Zuko closed his eyes and concentrated. He thought about the moon water ball Katara had made and focused on her face and her voice. "Katara."
In the Fire Nation…
Katara sat on the ground in a room. The moon water was on a table next to her. "Zuko." She heard Zuko through the moon water. A ball rose from the cup. "Zuko!" She looked at the ball and held it in her hand. Zuko opened his eyes. "I know where she is." Aang let him lead. They reached their destination an hour later. "She is in the room closest to the Throne Room," said Zuko. Aang nodded. He started to cross the room when Zuko stopped him. "My sister or father is going to be in there. It's too dangerous. You go while I distract them. If I get captured do not come after me. Just take Katara and leave. Got it?" Sokka didn't hesitate. "Deal." Aang and Toph stared at him. "Aang. Just promise me you'll keep her safe." When Aang nodded, Zuko walked into the middle of the room. Aang swiftly grabbed Toph and Sokka and ran to the other side. Zuko watched them leave. When he turned back towards the Throne, he saw Azula glaring at him. "Why would you help them? Why would you betray your family and nation like that?" asked Mai walking in. Ty Lee followed her. "I found kindness and trust. I never had that here. All that I had here was an insane sister, a cold girlfriend, and a father who hates me," replied Zuko. "I may never get my honor back but at least I'll have true love. I've never found that anywhere else." Azula growled. "You know nothing of love. Father doesn't hate you, he just really dislikes you."
