The Dark Forest
Stinky and the entire tribe was standing in front of The Dark Forest while stinky had a determined expression on his face the rest of the tribe had nervous expressions on theirs. The Dark Forest gave them the feeling of uneasiness it seemed to have that effect on a lot of people.
"Stinky what are we doing here this Forest is giving me the creeps."Anais said looking at the Forest frightened, "Alright everyone listen up the reason i brought you all here is to prove something to all of you and to a certain omega pup."Stinky said glaring at Runt "and that would be?"Lilly asked.
"I'm gonna prove to all of you that the Shade is nothing but a big phony by going to the Black Cave."Stinky announced earning collected gasps from everyone but the one person that was most shocked was Hunter who started having a brief Flashback to that night he went to the Black Cave alone and he encountered the Shade.
"No you can't go there Stinky it's not safe."Hunter said approaching stinky who brushed him off "Yeah yeah Hunter because of the Shade come on man enough with that lame story i don't by it, and neither should all of you come on a creature made of shadows it's impossible and ridiculous and I'm going to prove it to all of you,Follow me." Stinky then began walking into the Dark Forest although the rest of the tribe was hesitant but they were also curious to see if Stinky would actually go into the Dark Forest.
Everyone soon began to follow him into the creepy forest Claudette was glaring a gigantic hole in the back of Stinky's head she was even more fed up with his attitude than she was before "I swear Stinky you're becoming more stupider everyday." Claudette mumbled to herself as she stared directly at Stinky who was walking a few feet in front of her proudly.
After a while they arrived to the Black Cave Stinky stood in front of it completely unfazed by the Caves frightening visage. Stinky looked towards the crowd who was still watching him with suspense with a grin on his face.
Stinky then looked back towards the darkness of the cave and began to shout "Hello is anybody in there?!"Stinky shouted making Hunter Runt and a few wolves flinch a little. "Mister Shade?!"Stinky shouted again "Stinky for Pete's sake will you knock it off?"Claudette hissed in anger causing Stinky to glare at her "will you shut up?,there's nothing in here." "How do you know,Mr Know it all?"Flynn asked in defiance "Because i just know there's nothing in there it's just a really dark stupid cave,Look I'll even go inside.,Stinky said beginning to walk towards the entrance of the cave Hunter quickly ran in front of him and began pushing him back in complete fear.
"No no don't do that!" Hunter exclaimed Stinky tried to get around him but hunter refused to let him pass which was beginning to agitate stinky "what is your problem?!"he exclaimed in anger "My problem is you're not listening to me I'm trying to save from making a deadly mistake."
"Save me?!,for the last time there's nothing to save me from because there's nothing in there!" Stinky then shoved him aside and began walking back towards the cave. "Stinky!"Runt called with the intent on stopping him but Hunter stopped him standing next to him with an angry expression on his face "No Runt let him go if he thinks nothing is in there let him find out the hard way about how wrong he is."Hunter said crossing his arms.
Stinky stared back at Hunter not saying a single word before scoffing and turning back to the cave and he then began to peek inside the cave "Hello!"Stinky shouted and waited for a response the then next thing he did made every gasp a little he walked into the cave everyone watched as the darkness swallowed him up.
"He went inside."a male pup said in shock eerie silence filled the air for a good minute until Stinky came out with an satisfied grin "There's nothing in there." Hunter and Runt looked at him in confusion "What?"Hunter said in confusion "There's nothing in there take a look for yourself it's not even that big of a cave."
Hunter and Runt was the first ones to step into the cave and were met to a shock the cave was empty and for hunter he could see clearly last time he was here he couldn't see even with a torch he had in his hand the cave itself was relatively small it looked like it was able to fit about 5 to 6 wolves at the Max and it looked like nobody has lived there for a long long time.
Hunter and Stinky stepped out from the cave with stunned expressions soon the rest of the tribe started to take a look inside the cave.
After that they all stood in there original spots with Stinky with a triumphant expression on his face and "Well my work here is done."stinky said walking away with the entire tribe soon following Hunter and Runt stood there in complete stunned silence after seen the empty cave.
"Guys are you coming?"Garth asked shaking them out of the trance they ultimately decided to leave so they can wallow in their embarrassment while looking back at the empty cave.
After the tribe was gone The shade jumped out from the trees to which he was hiding in he was actually out for a little stroll around the forest as he sometimes does,he came back to the cave to see the united tribe snooping around in his cave which Frustrated him greatly he was getting extremely sick of Wolves from the United Tribe coming in and out of the Forest as of late and decided it was time to put a stop to it once and for all and he knew of a perfect way looking in the direction they went and with a soft whoosh he dashed at an astonishing speed after them.
Meanwhile
After they exited the forest the tribe was immediately met with the presence of Kate who was scowling at stinky after learning what he did "Stinky."a female voice growled,everyone looked to see Kate stomping towards stinky and grabbed and pull his ear almost tearing it off "You are in extreme trouble."she growled "Ow ow ow!"Stinky whined in pain at the fact kate was pulling his ear really hard.
"I'm so so sorry everyone for my this let's all go home and forget this day happened."Kate said in an embarrassed tone as she lead the tribe away from the Dark Forest.
After the tribe was gone The shade stepped out of the Dark Forest looking in the direction they went and with a soft whoosh he dashed at an astonishing speed after them.
The United Tribe Territory
When they got home Kate aggressive sat Stinky down in front of her so say she was upset was the understatement of the year "You have officially lost your mind Stinky what were you thinking dragging the entire tribe to the Dark Forest after i said going there was off limits?"
"I was trying to prove a point mom."Stinky said looking at his mother "And what point is that that you have selective hearing?"Kate said in an harsh tone "No That the Shade isn't real and that Hunter and Runt lied about seeing it."
Kate was about to say something when she realized he said runt "Wait runt saw the shade too when?" Kate asked looking at Humphrey "it was during our class trip I'll have him tell you about it later."Humphrey said.
"Mom i meant no harm i was trying to put the whole Shade business to rest." "that was not something for you to worry about stinky,and i already did put it to rest,i forbid anyone from entering the forest."
"Mom with all due respect banning the tribe from entering an empty forest is not ending it." Stinky argued "It is if wolves listened to me."Kate said in a slight sassy tone,She was referring to link and Lyle who went to the Dark Forest when they were told not to and look what happened to them.
Kate stared deeply into stinky's soul which frightened him a little "Stinky this is by far the most boneheaded irresponsible thing you've done since you dared Flynn to eat those poisonous berries that made him extremely sick."
Stinky looked at the ground as Kate spoke again "as of right now stinky you're on probation one more stunt like this and you can say goodbye to the chance of being chosen to be the tribe leader and that position will immediately go to Claudette am i clear?"
Stinky wanted to object to having Claudette be the tribe leader but decided to keep his mouth shut "Yes Mom."Stinky said softly hanging his head but Kate was far from done.
Humphrey whispered the fact that Stinky and Claudette were fighting again "it also has been brought to my attention you and Claudette got into yet another fight earlier today what about this time?"Kate asked crossing her arms "She was talking about me behind my back i know because i heard her say my name to one of her friends and then they laughed."
Kate groaned in complete annoyance at the situation in front of her She's got an son who's going around picking fights with his sister and going places he's not supposed to and it's beginning to cause her serious stress "she looked directly at Humphrey with a questioning expression "Is it me or is our family coming apart?" Humphrey didn't exactly know how to answer that but luckily he didn't have to because kate immediately walked out "Kate where are you going?"Humphrey asked with concern.
Kate didn't answer she just kept walking.
