Amber and Flynn gulped in complete fear after hearing that "What do you mean use us as a example?"Amber asked "You lied you are going to kill us!"Flynn cried.
The Shade narrowed his eyes making Amber and Flynn squirm a little as the wolf spoke "Silence No I'm not going to kill you,I'm getting very sick and tired of your kind coming in and out of my home as of late, no one has stepped foot into my home in a long time i was happy i was content until two wolves with a bunch of pups showed up."
Amber and Flynn knew what he was referring to the field trip Humphrey and Lilly's omega class took a few days ago,Shade then started to pace back and forth behind the wolf "Which then started a cascading effect,When a group of pup came into my den a group which if i recall correctly a group you two were apart of." Flynn's eyes lit up after realizing what he was talking about "Um Mr Shade Mr Shade I just what to state for the record that um...that was all stinky's idea all of it."
Amber nodded in agreement "Oh yeah all his idea." "I don't care whose idea it was and don't call me Shade that's not my name."
"Well would you like us to call you by your actual name?"Amber asked "My real name is unpronounceable by your language so just call me...ugh..fine call me shade."The wolf spoke in a annoyed tone.
Flynn and Amber looked back at each other in bewilderment "Anyway things got worse as another pup came into my den in the middle of the night but i scared him off,Then two more Wolves by the names of Link and Lyle came into my forest and challenged me to frightened them like i did to the other pup."
Flynn and Amber looked at each other in confusion as they weren't aware that Link and Lyle went to the Dark Forest as well. "Well i did frighten them and i was hoping they would learn their lesson and spread the word to everyone they know not to come here ever again but apparently they obviously didn't and your entire Tribe came into my home."
"Again All Stinky's idea."Amber stated the Shade stared at Amber and Flynn for a full minute before the wolf spoke again. "Do you know what i am?" Flynn's eyes darted around "A big black Scary Monster?"
The Shade narrowed his eyes in anger "Is that what you think of me as a big scary monster that hurts people?" "Well yeah pretty much."Amber added.
"What i am is something much more Complicated than that,before everything you see around you before the stars,Sun,Moon and everything there was darkness and in that Darkness there was me."
Amber and Flynn looked at him in confusion as they were trying to Figure out what he was talking about "You see young ones I'm what you would call a primordial being i predate the existence of the universe."
Flynn looked at him weirdly "What does that mean?" Amber sighed in annoyance "It means he existed before the birth of the universe dunderhead pay attention in School."
"That's right and if i may add it was a swell existence nothing no noise no Anything just me sure you might think that it sounds lonely abd boring but i like boring and lonely and I've been alone for a extremely long time until they happened."
Amber raised an eyebrow "Who happened?" Shade narrowed his eyes "My Sister Aurora, at first she was just a little white dot in the sea of darkness but i could still hear her voice complaining that it was to dark then she blurted out let there be light and there was this bright flash and my kingdom of darkness was ruined but i wasn't going to take that sitting down i did what any brother would do if he decided his bouncing newborn sister was his enemy:Declare war on her."
Amber rolled her eyes at that as the shade continued "While the universe grew around us we continued fighting over the rightful ownership of the universe, i don't even remember how long it lasted my best estimate it lasted for millions of years neither one of us holding the upper hand for long until one day we decided to call it a truce we both decided that this wasn't going anywhere so we came to a decision: she knew how happy i was living in my dark place alone which is why she agreed to not light up the universe completely which is why it contains a few dark spaces and she agreed to leave me alone if i allowed the light to continue shining throughout the universe which i agreed to and so we went our separate ways after that."
"What happened next?"Flynn asked completely interested in Shades origin "I traveled the Universe saw some pretty interesting things and met some very interesting entities,but i don't want to bore you about them what i want to tell you is how i got here to this planet."
"How did you get here?"Amber asked curiously "Well it was not by choice to make things clear i was actually traveling close to a dying star which then exploded knocking me out and sent me flying away and hurling uncontrollably through space for a good Thousand years until i came apon and crash landed into this planet."
Amber and Flynn's eyes widened a little in amazement after hearing that and Shade continued.
"Originally there wasn't much living things around just a bunch of trees,grass,water and everything you see now,your sun as you called it shined brightly i could've snuffed it out easily but i agreed to not mess with the light but it still bothered me a little but that's when i was shown the night sky and was shown the concept which would later be called cloudy days that shielded me from the blinding sun from time to time but it wasn't enough i needed something else to shield me from the sun so i traveled this planet looking for sanctuary yeah i could've simply left the planet but i didn't want to because I'd grown attached to this planet,I traveled these grassy hills for days and days until i came onto this forest it provided me with protection when the clouds wouldn't on some days plus i had a little cave as you would call it."
Amber and Flynn found the information Shade was giving them very interesting and educational they were learning everything about shade no one else did. "and this is where i stayed for a few days by myself and with nothing but peace and quiet that is until he showed up." The Wolf said with a hint of annoyance "Who showed up?"Flynn asked greatly interested.
"Fenrir,Your god,long story short he came down from some rainbow bridge all high and mighty declared midgard as he called this place his new home and created the first wolves the Dire wolves as he called them so he wouldn't be lonely and that was when my nice quiet paradise was ruined."
Amber and Flynn looked at him in complete shock act the fact that the Shade mentioned seeing their god Fenrir. "Woah you met Fenrir?!"Flynn asked rather excitedly and Shade clenched his fist as the wolf spoke "Saw him i fought him and his sons Skoll and Hati."
"You fought Fenrir,Skoll and Hati how did that happened?"Amber asked curiously.
"Well that was mostly the dire wolves fault,Thousands of years ago a tribe of Direwolves claimed a territory nearby unfortunately they found my forest to be interesting so they entered and explore with the intent of taking it for themselves but i made myself known to them not surprisingly they freaked out and tried to attack me,i of course fought back to defend myself and my home."
"Did you kill any of them?"Amber asked rather nervously knowing that the shade does have the power to kill if he wanted to "No,i just broken a few bones and scared them out of the Forest unfortunately that caught the attention Of Fenrir who didn't take kindly of his creations being attacked so him along with his sons Challenged me to a fight which i won...easily." The wolf said.
Flynn and Amber gulped a little Fenrir and his Sons Skoll and Hati were extremely powerful as was told in legends to hear that The Shade easily defeated them in combat was truly frightening.
"After that while temporarily taking control of a nearby Direwolf i told Fenrir my desire to be left alone and i told him not to let his creations enter my forest again and with that Fenrir and his sons slinked a way without another word and and for a time it was quiet no
"What happened?"Flynn asked curiously "a tribe of wolves came into my Forest again actually they were pups and i did scratch one of them in the eyes."
Amber and Flynn's eyes widened in fear after hearing that little fact.
"But that was unintentional i was trying to scare them away but i over did it but it caused a bit of a mess because next thing i know the entire tribe was after me,It was the Direwolves all over again so after i defeated that tribe i just went back to doing my normal routine being left alone and again it continued that why for another good long while that is until you and you're tribe came along..."The Wolf said as Shade glared at them intensely ashe began to step towards them.
Amber and Flynn looked at The Shade more frightened than ever as he got closer and closer then The Shade kneeled down to their level and the wolf spoke "But your tribe is going to stay away from the dark Forest forever and I'm going to make sure the message is clear."
