Sheer confusion and panic filled the atmosphere of the den as the pups looked around desperately for their missing member. "Guys where's Runt?!"Stinky asked again this time more concerned "I don't know he was right behind me."Anais said clutching Nimrod's arm tightly now even more afraid.

"He just disappeared."Ryder said looking around "How that's impossible,The only way out was right in front of us we would've seen him leave."Claudette exclaimed looking around.

The pups were extremely stumped they were all trying to figure out how runt could disappear without any of them seeing until they heard bushes rustling outside this made the pups jump and looked towards the entrance to the den.

"Runt?"Stinky called out as he began to walk out of the den to check out the source of the sound when he stepped out the the what happened next nearly made Claudette scream within a second Stinky was snatched upwards out of view by a black mass.

"What was that?!"Anais asked as Ryder,Nimrod or Claudette didn't speak Silence filled the Atmosphere as the pups waited for something to happen until it did, Slowly entering the den was the black mass that took stinky the pups whimper in fear and back up until they were against the back wall.

The black mass then transformed to the Shade which completely frightened the pups as they looked at the monster in fear "The Shade.."Anais whimpered hiding behind Nimrod "Hunter was Right."Claudette added "What do you what with us?"Ryder asked in complete nervousness.

The Shade answered him by looking directly at Claudette which made her flinch a little then suddenly with the swiftness of lightning the Shade snatched Claudette and with a soft whoosh he flew out of the den in a black cloud form taking her with him.

"Claudette!"Anais exclaimed trying to get up and run after them but Nimrod and Ryder stopped her not wanting her to be taken too. Just then Humphrey returned looked very distraught "Guys i couldn't find Hunter I'll have to alert The Alphas when they..." Humphrey paused when he realized who was not in the den "Uh Where's Stinky and Claudette?"

Meanwhile

The Sun was just beginning the process of setting as Nathaniel and Kate's group were huddled up after searching around their sector for a couple of Hours. They were all beginning to tired after searching for so long which didn't go unnoticed by Kate and Nathaniel, "Alright everyone i know we are a little exhausted but Amber and Flynn are counting on us we cannot let them down." "Yes sir."The alphas responded and they were about to continue on when they heard heavy panting and the sounds of frantic footsteps running towards them.

They all looked to see Humphrey running up to them "Humphrey what are you doing here?"Kate asked in confusion Humphrey stopped in front of Her panting heavily he tried to speak but was extremely out of breath "Kate...i...i need to talk...it...emergency."Humphrey said in between breaths Kate looked at him in confusion then she looked at the group who just stared at her weirdly.

"Uh Excuse me."Kate said with an giggle then she took Humphrey about 30 feet away out of earshot of the group "What is the emergency Humphrey?"Kate asked Humphrey took one giant breath then spoke more clearly "Hunter,Runt Stinky and Claudette have been Kidnapped."Humphrey said in a hushed panicked tone.

Kate's eyes widened in complete shock "What?!"She nearly screamed "It wasn't my fault Kate i swear!"Humphrey stammered "Oh my Fenrir Humphrey what happened?"

"Well firstly Me and the pups were playing i Spy to take their minds off of Flynn and Amber for a bit until Hunter said he had to use the bathroom so i let him but he was gone for a long time and i suspected something was wrong because no pup uses the bathroom for an hour so i went out to look for him a searched all around the territory for him i even asked some people if they seen him but no one has seen him so i went to tell the pups the bad news but when i got there there was only Ryder,Nimrod and Anais who tell me Runt Stinky and Claudette were kidnapped."

Kate looked at him with an extremely distressed expression "Did they say who took them?" she asked Humphrey gulped knowing that the answer would probably make her kick him.

"They said the Shade took them."Humphrey said nervously Kate just stared at him with an unsurprised expression "They said that?" "Yes they said the shade just snatched them,and I'm assuming the Shade took Hunter too." Kate looked at him curiously.

"You believe them?" Humphrey began stammering a little "I wasn't sure originally i thought this was a joke but i saw the expressions on their faces and now..."

Kate nodded her head and was about to speak when Nathaniel walked up to them "Hey Kate are you still with us?"Nathaniel asked a little impatiently "Yeah I'm ready go home Humphrey I'll be home later."

Then Kate walked away with Nathaniel Humphrey immediately ran off back to the United tribe. Nathaniel and Kate got back to the group to continue their search. "Alright everyone let's continue on."Nathaniel instructed and the group moved forward onwards.

Meanwhile deep within the Dark Forest

"Ow!"Claudette cried as the shade aggressively sat her and Hunter down back to back against a tree and clapped his hands together and pulled them apart and a long string of misty black rope formed in between his hands and he proceeded to tie them both up.

Hunter looked to the left of him and noticed both Runt and Stinky were tied the same way against a tree with their muzzles tied as well the same went for Flynn and Amber who both looked at him in distress. Then Hunter dared to look up at The shade who stared down back at him "What do you want from us?" the Shade didn't answer he just tied his and Claudette's muzzles shut and disappeared with a soft whoosh.

Meanwhile

The Sun was very nearly down as the Group continued to search high and low throughout their sector of Canada. While Kate walked through the forest she had a worried expression on her face not only is Flynn and Amber missing but also Stinky,Runt,Claudette and Hunter as well,They were taken possibly by the Shade.

This didn't go unnoticed by Nathaniel "Hey we're going to find them no matter how long it takes."Nathaniel said with a confident tone as he and Kate continued on.

It wasn't until the Sun was almost completely down when they arrived to The Dark Forest the massive group stood at the entrance of the forest looking at it with complete nervousness "It's even more creepier than i heard."A wolf said and soon other murmured in agreement causing Nathaniel to look at the group in slight annoyance.

"Seriously come on guys Flynn and Amber are out here somewhere this is the only place we haven't checked so come on everyone it's just a stupid forest right Kate?"Nathaniel asked looking directly at Kate who looked between the forest and Nathaniel for a few seconds then nodded her head "Right onward everyone."Kate said motioning everyone to continue on although they were visibly hesitant but they continued.

Kate was about to follow but was stopped by Hutch "You didn't tell him about Hunter and the Tribe on the other side of the Forest?" he asked curiously as he realized Kate didn't tell Nathaniel everything that's been going on.

"No i did not and neither will you,we have 2 missing pups to find more important than finding out the existence of some Living Shadow understand?"Kate asked firmly Hutch nodded and Kate walked away from him and hutch soon followed her into the forest.

However Kate knew the error of what she just said to hutch unknowingly to the rest of the group They now have 6 missing pups and some Living Shadow likely had something to do with it.

As the wolves began to scatter across the Dark forest Nathaniel,Kate,Hutch, Princess,Flint,Garth,Claws and Scar all went together to search as they walked through the forest looking around at their surroundings making sure to keep their eyes peeled for any signs for Flynn and Amber eerie feelings rushed through everyone as they continued on.

"Man this place is creepy."Flint said "Yeah is this even a Forest?"Claws asked looking around "Focus guys ignore the unnerving feelings you may be getting and let's find Flynn and Amber."Nathaniel said trying to get everyone back on track although the creepiness of the Forest was getting to him a little.

After about several minutes of walking they arrived to the Black Cave the stood at the entrance of the cave looking directly into the blackness of the interior "Flynn Amber are you in there?"Nathaniel asked speaking into the cave and was about to enter the cave when a wolf ran up to them frantically.

"We found them!"He exclaimed making the wolves look at him in shock "Flynn and Amber?!"Claws asked with excitement "Not just them we found Hunter,Stinky,Runt and Claudette as well."the wolf said looking directly at Kate who had a fake surprised expression on her face.

"What?!"Kate exclaimed "How did they get taken?!"Garth asked "the wolf shrugged "Where are they."Nathaniel asked "Over this way follow me."He said pointing behind him and he began to run with the group following right behind him.
