The episode starts off with Freddie walking down the ally to his apartment with a bag of chips and a bottle of soda
When he approaches his apartment, he sees Robbie driving out with a go-cart
"Hey Freddie." Robbie said
"Uh what's going on?" Freddie asked
"I'm driving a go-cart. Duh." Robbie replied
"Where did you get that go-cart?" Freddie asked
"At the store. Duh." Robbie says
"But how?" Freddie said
"Look do you want to ask me a million questions or do you want to go see what's in our room?" Robbie says
"What's in our room?" Freddie asked
"Go check." Robbie replied
Freddie goes into the bedroom and screams in joy
Freddie rides out in a go-cart all happy
"You got me a go-cart?!" Freddie yelled
"Uh huh." Robbie said
"I love it!" Freddie yelled
"Wanna go drive these down the streets?" Robbie asked
"Do I?" Freddie says in excitement
Freddie and Robbie are seen driving their go-carts down the streets
"This is so much fun." Freddie said
"Wanna go to the store and buy stuff we don't need?" Robbie asked
"With what money?" Freddie asked
Robbie takes out $500 from his wallet
"With this money." Robbie replied
"How much is that?" Freddie asked
"$500." Robbie replied
"Where did you get that?" Freddie wonders
"From an ATM." Robbie says
"But..." Freddie said but gets interrupted by Robbie
"Do you want to keep asking questions or do you want to go and buy some stuff?" Robbie asked
"I uh..." Freddie says
Robbie looks at him with a look on his face
"Buy some stuff." Freddie says
"Yay." Robbie said
"But I want to check out this ATM of yours." Freddie said
"Okay." Robbie says
Scene now cuts to a gas station where Freddie and Robbie enter
"Okay where's this ATM at?" Freddie asked
"Over there." Robbie says
"But you don't have a bank account." Freddie said
"Noted." Robbie says
"Then how can you be getting money?" Freddie asked
"By doing this." Robbie said
Robbie pushes some buttons and $400 comes out
"What?" Freddie said
"See $400." Robbie said
"Holy buckets of water!" Freddie yelled
"What did he say?" An employee asked
"Nothing never mind." Freddie said
Freddie pulls Robbie to the side
"How long have you been doing this?" Freddie asked
"I've been doing it once or twice for about 2 weeks." Robbie replied
"So you push random buttons and the ATM spits out money?" Freddie asked
"Correct." Robbie replied
"Isn't that stealing?" Freddie asked
"Man you're just full of questions today aren't you?" Robbie asks
"Look I care about you. You're one of my best friends and I don't want you going to jail." Freddie said
"Eh I've been in jail in Yerba before back in 2011. Don't ask. It's a long story." Robbie said
"Well what should we do?" Freddie asked
"Want me to put the money back?" Robbie says
"Well you could do that or we can do some shopping." Freddie said
"Okay let's go." Robbie said
Freddie and Robbie exit the store to go do some shopping
5 hours later, Freddie and Robbie enter their apartment with 10 bags of items
"Man who knew shopping would be so much fun." Freddie said
"Yeah this was the best shopping day ever." Robbie said
"How much money do we have left?" Freddie asked
"$45." Robbie replied
"That much?" Freddie says
"Uh huh." Robbie said
"Well I am hungry and I do want to go out to eat." Freddie says
"We can take out money from the ATM." Robbie says
"And you sure we won't get caught?" Freddie asked
"Yes there is nothing to worry about." Robbie said
At the gas station, Freddie and Robbie approach the ATM
"Just hurry up and get out so we don't get caught." Freddie says
"Kay Kay." Robbie said
Robbie types some numbers in the ATM and it spits out $200
The employee sees this
"Hey you boy!" The employee yelled
"Uh hello." Robbie said
The employee runs up to Robbie
"So you're the one that's been taking money from that ATM." The employee says as he yanks the money away from Robbie
"No it just gives it to me after I push random buttons." Robbie said
"Robbie let's just get out of here." Freddie says
An officer (played by Kel Mitchell) walks out of the bathroom
"Officer over here!" The employee says
"Aw crud!" Freddie and Robbie yelled at the same time
"What's going on?" Officer Kel asked
"You know how someone has been stealing money from this ATM?" The employee asked
"Yes." Officer Kel says
"It was that boy with the glasses." The employee said
"You?" Officer Kel asked
"Maybe." Robbie says
"That's it, hands behind your back." Officer Kel says as he takes out his handcuffs
"Why, where am I going?" Robbie asked
"You're going to jail." Officer Kel said
"Jail?!" Freddie and Robbie yelled very loud
"I don't want to go to jail." Robbie said
"Then maybe you shouldn't have stolen money from that ATM!" The employee yelled as Officer Kel handcuffs Robbie
"I didn't think there would be any consequences." Robbie said
"Let's go." Officer Kel said
"Freddie do something." Robbie says
Officer Kel stars to take Robbie away to jail but Freddie stops him
"Sir wait. You can't take my friend to jail." Freddie said
"And why not?" Officer Kel asked
"Cause he's not tough. He won't last 5 minutes in there." Freddie says
"Oh. Well too bad. Get going glasses." Officer Kel said
"Freddie!" Robbie yells
"Wait take me to jail with him." Freddie said holding out his hands
"No." Officer Kel said
"Why not?" Freddie asked
"Cause you didn't commit a crime." Officer Kel said
"Hang on." Freddie says
Freddie grabs a slushy out of a fridge and dumps it down the employee's pants and then kicks the officer in the shin
"Good god that's cold!" The employee yelled
"My shin!" Officer Kel yelled
"Oops looks like I just committed a crime. Now you have to take me to jail with Robbie." Freddie said as he pulls out his hands
"Okay fine you're under arrest too. Hands behind your back." Officer Kel said as he takes out another pair of handcuffs from his pocket
"Yes." Freddie says
Officer Kel cuffs Freddie and takes him and Robbie to the police car
The scene now cuts to the Los Angeles Community Jail where Officer Kel has placed Freddie and Robbie in a jail cell
Freddie and Robbie are sitting on a bed all worried
"So this is what it's like in prison." Freddie says
"We now have prison records." Robbie said
"I thought you said you got arrested over two years ago?" Freddie says
"Yeah but it was in Yerba not the United States." Robbie said
"Oh." Freddie responds
"You know you didn't have to get yourself arrested Freddie." Robbie said
"I know but I chose to get arrested." Freddie said
"Why?" Robbie asked
"Cause I knew you won't survive in here all on your own so I decided to get myself arrested just to protect you." Freddie replied
"Aw." Robbie said
"Besides we're roommates. You would have done the same thing for me. I also couldn't bare to live in the apartment without you." Freddie adds
"You're such a good friend." Robbie said
"I know I am." Freddie says
Freddie and Robbie hug each other when Officer Kel walks up to their cell
"Boys you have some visitors." Officer Kel said
Freddie and Robbie stop hugging and they see that Freddie's mom and Robbie's grandma are standing outside their cell and they are not happy with them
"Mom?" Freddie said
"Grandma?" Robbie says
"What were you thinking when you were stealing money from that ATM?!" Mrs. Shapiro yelled
"I'm sorry grandma. I didn't know it was stealing." Robbie said
"How can a 17 year old boy not know that taking money from an ATM is stealing? Do they not teach you anything at school?!" Mrs. Shapiro says
"And you Freddie? I expect this thing from Sam but you? You never do anything wrong. I thought I raised you better than that." Mrs. Benson said
"I didn't steal money from an ATM mom." Freddie says
"Then why are you in jail with Robbie?" Mrs. Benson asked
"Cause I wanted to protect him and keep him safe so I kicked a police officer and dumped a cold drink down an employee's pants." Freddie says
"Well it's sweet that you would do that for Robbie but we're both very disappointed that you two did that in the first place." Mrs. Shapiro says
"We can go bail you out but you two are going to return everything you bought with that ATM money." Mrs. Benson said
"Okay but mom how did you even get to Los Angeles so fast?" Freddie asked
"Yeah don't you live about 1,200 miles away from us?" Robbie asked
"Well I was in town having some tea with your roommate's grandma until we got a call from the police saying you got arrested." Mrs. Benson said
"Oh." Freddie and Robbie said at the same time
After they get bailed out and returned everything they bought, they are back at the apartment
"Well we hope you two have learned a lesson." Mrs. Shapiro says
"We have." Robbie said
"We promise to never steal from that ATM or any ATM ever again." Freddie says
"That's what we want to hear." Mrs. Benson said
"We still love you but please don't get arrested again." Mrs. Shapiro says
"Or steal ever again." Mrs. Benson added
"We won't." Robbie said
"We swear that we will never steal or get arrested ever again." Freddie says
"That's good." Mrs. Shapiro said
"Would you boys like to get some tea with us?" Mrs. Benson asked
"Sure." Freddie and Robbie said
Freddie, Robbie, Mrs. Benson, and Mrs. Shapiro all leave for tea as the episode ends
