Chapter 9: Pressure is within the mind
"The exam will last one hour. BEGIN!"
The room goes quiet as everyone begins the Test, with consistent tapping of everyone's pencils Asura Scan the room noticing the instructors really paying attention.
"(Everyone is already starting, and so are the instructors.)" Asura thought.
Asura begins on his own Test but quickly realizes that it's not as simple as it looks, "(The first question looks to be a Cryptogram, the second question is a little tougher it ask's you to tell what option of attack you use against an aggressor within only Seven meter's while using a Shuriken)".
Asura subtly puts his hands on his face under his sun shades, and begins to smirk," (This test is a joke, it's not a test of knowledge it's a Test for gathering intel without being seen)."
"Umm... I'd like to just know one thing... How many Teams will pass this Test?" said a sand ninja.
"It's like knowing will help you... Or do you want to be disqualified?" Ibiki Responded.
"Sorry." The sand ninja said while sitting back down.
"(So, it's not just a simple test as I thought, he wants us to cheat but I wonder can Maiya, no can Asuka figure this out)." Asura thought
Asuka P.O.V
(This is insane why is this happening, I thought this would involve more fighting not writing)."
Asuka looks around the room and notices the instructor's writing, and quickly looks to her own Test.
(Someone just got nailed, darn it I don't think I can do this)." just then Asuka feels her shirt getting tugged from her back remembering that Asura was behind her, she waited to see for a pattern of the tugging. Which there was a pattern.
(Just answer what you can if not possible wait for final question then take your chance then.) Asura said using morse code.
Asuka slightly nods and precede to doodle on her Test.
Asuka P.O.V END
Maiya P.O.V
Fifteen minutes has already passed by and Maiya has finished her test, and begun looking around and started to wonder why this test was like this and didn't add up.
"(so obviously the test was intense and if not for our training sessions in our village I wouldn't be able to figure out most these questions, but still these questions aren't normal at all matter fact Asuka wouldn't be able to answer the question's)."
Maiya Looks towards the instructors and sees them writing a lot.
Thwack!.. "What was that for?!" said a leaf Genin
"You messed up Five times. YOU FAIL." said the Instructor.
"No... NO WAY..!" Responded the leaf Genin
"The two on his team get out of here, right now. Hurry up and leave." the instructor said with serious intent.
"Damn it". The Genin said as he left.
Within the next twenty-five minutes multiple ninjas from different lands including the leave had been failed and other Tester had already finished their Test and already started to prepare for the final question and so was Maiya.
"(ok only five minutes until the final question let's see what happens".
MAIYA P.O.V END
As the test nears its end Asura team waits for the final question with the intense atmosphere that has already transpired and with all the teams that has left the test room the intensity inside the room has risen and has not gone down "OK now we will begin the 10th question now before we get to it I'd like to go over the added rules for this question the rules of aspiration first for this 10th question you must decide whether you will take it or not".
"Choose, what happens if we choose not to". the sand ninja said
"If you choose not to your points will be reduced to zero ,you fail along with your teammates". Ibiki said
as the Proctor express his words the room began to speak out feeling as if it was unfair, Asura felt that this was part of his plan to get people more shuttered.
"and now the other rule, if you choose a take it. answer it incorrectly that person will lose the right to ever take the chuuning selection exams again".
The room begins to erupt again this time Genin with his dog speaks up it's Kiba he expressed his frustration feeling that it's unfair but the Proctor just smiles and laughs.
"you guys were unlucky. This year it's my rules. But I am giving you a way out. Those that aren't confident can choose not to take it. And try again next year".
With everyone frustration fear and uncertainty most began to hesitate and just before he begins his next sentence a lot of people start to shudder in fear of what he might say next.
"those that do not wish to take it, raise your hand and once your number is confirmed, leave". said the Proctor
Just as everybody is looking around to see who it raise their hand first and decide whether or not they should do it too one shinobi raises his hand, "I... won't take it!"
As this man apologizes to his team the examiners call out their numbers and tell them they have failed, others follow suit and more than 20 or 30 people leave the room realizing the stress that has now happened asura realizes that maybe his comrades would feel the pressure too but he wanted to give them a chance to decide on their own so he did not raise his hand he chose to believe in his team and let them decide what to do.
just then a big slap on a table echoes throughout the room "don't underestimate me! I will not run! I'll take it even if I may genin forever, I'll will myself to become hokage anyway, so I don't care I am not afraid "!
With the uproar that Naruto had started the room had become more sincere less afraid and more genuine and more determined to begin the final question as the instructor looks throughout the class Rome he sees no one with fear in their eyes nor we lucked and see he tries to warn us once more to see if he can get anymore people to leave but with no avail.
The instructor then looks at his other fellow instructors and they all just nod towards him.
"good decisions, now to everyone still remaining. I congratulate you on passing the first Test!"
With the sudden outburst that we had passed the first Test everybody instantly began to wonder what's going on what is happening common questions not everyone was in shock some understood the test at the beginning but others were curious to why they've Past. With only with only 82 remaining everybody was dumbfounded.
"what do you mean? We already pass what about the tenth question?" said sakura
"there was never such a thing or you could say that those two choices were the 10th question. Said Ibiki
is everybody started to ask the Procter why was there nine questions if all they needed to do his answer the one he had preceded to explain that the nine questions did what they were intended for some they understood the others they did not he even goes on to explain that some may have figured out that you may have to think that they would have to cheat in which case they were right but they had to do it in a way that would not be discovered.
The Proctor then takes off his bandana to show scars as if he had been tortured in a horrible inhuman way "if the enemy or third party notices you there is no guarantee the info will be accurate, I want you to remember this important information in your hands can be a powerful weapon for your comrade and for the village. So we had to gather information through cheating this clearly separated those that did not have the right abilities."
"but I don't understand the final question." said the sand village woman
The Proctor then proceeds to explain that the 10th question all it was was leap of faith you had to trust your team and in return either you fail or you get great reward in this case you pass this test and then he goes on to say and explain that of an unknown scenario to wheth sweeter or not should you become a chuunin and given a mission of unknown knowledge that could have traps and or unknown enemies would you accept it without the knowledge he gives that everyone a straight answer and saying that you would not do so, as he continues his lecture on how to become a better ninja and the decisions you would have to make in the future when he finally finishes his whole lecture he ends it with a very good final farewell.
"you have made it to the entrance. The first Test of the Chuunin selection exam is now finished, I wish you guys luck."
And not even two minutes passed by over some of window breaks open with some kind of black or dark cloth with a big sign and a woman in front of it saying that the next exam is about to begin.
"I am the examiner for the second test, mitarashi anko , now let's go!"
The new examiner looks throughout the room and notices that there's more people than she imagined there to be she instantly looks at the other Proctor and expresses her feelings towards the situation even accusing him of making it too easy even saying that you left 27 teams.
"this time there are a lot of outstanding ones. " said the Proctor.
As if not fazed by the fact that there is more people than she anticipated she still slightly licked her lips as if she's going to have a lot of fun in the next testing exam.
Not long after we end up leaving the room and going on to the next testing grounds walking up to it we realized that it's not going to be a simple test now and this time it seems to be more dangerous and possibly life threatening.
