When Cao Cao punched the gong, the race commenced. Straight away Liu Bei rode into a stream and got stuck. He beat Dilu in a desperate attempt to get out. Zhuge Liang and Yueying made it to the front of the pack, riding their wheelbarrow and juggernaut respectively. Pang De's coffin was too slow. Xu Chu wanted to administer revenge to Hua Xiong, so he bounced up to him on his club and then steamrolled him into the wall. Hua Xiong was disqualified for being dead. After 100 laps, Guan Yu took the lead on fake Red Hare, but then he had to duel with Meng Huo on his souped up elephant. The gold medal was eventually claimed by the younger Qiao, who used her flippy fan technique to great effect. She was so dizzy afterward, she did not notice Gan Ning sprinting away with the medal.
