Chapter 47

(Normal POV)

Kathy saw Sentinel pull up and park away from the others; she narrowed her eyes at his vehicle form. She walked purposely toward the older Prime and yanked open his door; and ignored his startled jump.

"What is the meaning of this?" Sentinel demanded.

"Shut up, I don't know what happened when you got that cleansing but you aren't healed; I know you killed those sparklings. I am telling you right now if you make one move toward Optimus or any of the others you will be sorry." Kathy warned.

"How dare you threaten me, human?" Sentinel remarked.

"Where'd you go?" she demanded.

Silence….

"I am a Prime, I do not need to report to you!" he shouted.

"Really, then act like it; because a true Prime cares for his people like Optimus does. He would do anything for his people. He cares all he wanted to do was save his people; but also save those on this planet. They only saw what they wanted to see machines with weapons; they didn't see what we did beings who just wanted their home back. Beings with emotions so much stronger than ours; and…" Kathy started to say until she saw a black aura coming off Sentinel as she was blinded with a searing vision.

(The vision Kathy sees)

Black lightning was hitting all around as she saw a demonic face that had what looked like tentacles all over it like it was trying to control something or someone. Then she saw another face swirling with the demonic being's face; and it was Sentinel's face. The demonic face was… Unicron! He was trying to control Sentinel Prime!

(The vision ends)

Kathy bit her bottom lip; as her eyes narrowed then.

"So, you like killing innocent sparklings and controlling bots that are important; back off Unicron!" Kathy snapped as she put her hands on Sentinel's dashboard. "Come on, Sentinel; you're stronger than him fight him come on!" Kathy ordered as Sentinel shouted out in pain and started to transform.

Kathy had passed out from the energy drain; but Sentinel was coherent enough to protect her. He had her in his hand; when he had transformed into bi pedal form as Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe and Sunstreaker came rushing over concerned for the older Prime.

"Sentinel, are you alright?" Ratchet asked.

"Yes, thank you; I am thanks to this little human femme." Sentinel said as he opened his hand revealing a passed out Kathy her nose bleeding badly.

"Slag it, she used her power, didn't she?" Ratchet asked.

"Yes, she fought Unicron to save me," Sentinel replied.

"Unicron….?" Ironhide said.

"Here place her on the ground," Ratchet said as Optimus slowly walked up catching sight of Kathy passed out on the ground.

"No, what happened?" he asked dropping to his knees.

It was Sentinel who answered Optimus then.

"She saved me, it was Unicron he had me somehow within his grasp she protected me." Sentinel said his voice full of surprise. "After the way I treated her, she still saved me." Sentinel replied in shock.

"Will she be alright, Ratchet?" Optimus asked.

"Yes, but every time she uses this slagging power it will weaken her that much more and her recovery will take that much more time to heal." Ratchet said as Barricade walked up as well.

Barricade saw the expression on Optimus' face plates; and he sighed knowing he had to tell Optimus the truth.

"Prime, can we talk privately; it's important." Barricade said as Optimus glanced up and then looked at Ratchet.

"She'll be in stasis for a bit, go ahead." Ratchet said as he nodded.

"Alright," Optimus said getting to his foot pedes. "Let's go," Optimus said as they walked away from the others.

"Optimus there is nothing between the human femme and me; I thought I could help her win you back by making you jealous. She doesn't know what I did; so if you tell her I will deny it. You just better treat her right for whatever time she has left, got it!" Barricade snapped.

Silence….

"I-I will not lose her; we will find some way of keeping her online." Optimus replied.

"She is my friend; and I will fight for her." Barricade remarked as they saw Kara, Chelsea and Tina run up to where Kathy was lying.

Xxxxxx

"What happened to her?" Kara asked.

"She protected Sentinel from Unicron, apparently Unicron had Sentinel under his control and that is the reason why Megatron's sparklings were killed." Ratchet replied.

"I need to set things right with Megatron," Sentinel said as his blue optics locked with Megatron who was walking over. "Excuse me," Sentinel said getting up and walking toward Megatron.

"Ah, is it just me or should someone cover his butt in case Megatron goes sub zero again?" Chelsea asked.

"I will go," Ironhide said.

"Good luck," Ratchet snickered.

"Wise aft," Ironhide mumbled.

Sentinel glanced at Megatron; who just regarded Sentinel off-handedly.

"I need to speak with you, Megatron," Sentinel replied.

"What about Sentinel….?" Megatron asked.

Sentinel sighed and then began to speak to Megatron; whose expressions went into a murderous expression until Ironhide walked up to Sentinel to intervene should Megatron get dangerous.

Meanwhile Ratchet was checking on Will, Epps and Sarah; when Kathy opened her eyes and saw the three offlined sparklings over by Soundwave. She crawled over toward the 3 offlined sparklings; she put her hands on them and used the Allspark's power.

Soundwave watched her with interest as he commed Megatron to let him know what she was doing.

Megatron glanced over toward Soundwave and saw what was going on Kathy had revived the sparklings; but in doing so she weakened herself greatly and passed out. The three sparklings huddled around Kathy clicking and chirping trying to figure out what was wrong with her.

"By Primus, she brought them back," Megatron said in awe as he dropped by the three sparklings and looked down at Kathy. "Ratchet, get over here right now; she brought them back and weakened herself." Megatron ordered as Optimus and Barricade along with Sentinel ran up.

Optimus dropped by her side; his optics trained on Kathy as he prayed to Primus to allow her to be alright.

"You have to be functional, Kathleen Carter, you must I will not accept anything less than that." Optimus ordered.

"I will stabilize her, Optimus, don't worry." Ratchet said as he used his holoform to work on her.

Optimus didn't care about showing his emotions now he was scared; he was terrified of losing this human.
